This cleans my skin without being harsh or drying. The fragrance reminds me of the spa- calming and refreshing. I don't use anything to apply it other than my own two hands. I like to spread it out over my body and then rinse. Additionally, I appreciate the glass pump bottle it comes in. This product delivers on that front - it does have the notes of bergamot I love (earl grey tea is on of my favorite smells in the world) and smells like a natural mix of essential oils. However, the formula is harsh on my sensitive skin and causes burning in some areas if it is not washed off immediately. I have not had any rash or allergic reaction, but cannot use it on my very sensitive nether region. Also, I find it to be drying rather than moisturizing which is a problem for my increasingly dry skin. With a name like Milk + Honey, I mistakenly thought it would be moisturizing. I bought this for myself for my birthday last year as a splurge.
