It's used to have a pearl like appearance, so I know with new packs came a formula change! My clients been using it mri many years and is so disappointed,(she uses the whole line !) luckily I have a liter of the former Volumizer) But I know a true volumizer should be clear with not much container in formula. Still a great product!Most Helpful Critical ReviewFormula ChangedI absolutely loved Kenra Shampoo and Conditioner and have purchased it for years and years. I have a mix of straight, wavy and frizzy hair. The old formula would make my hair silky smooth and completely fixed the frizzy issue's that I had. I was able to stop using any other frizz control product. I purchased the new Shampoo and Conditioner which by the way didn't even say it had changed. It is HORRIBLE. My hair is like horse hair after using either one of these and the strong perfume smell is Horrible as well. I noticed the second I put it on my hair that it had changed. When I went to brush my hair it felt like I had been swimming in chlorine all day and was matted together. I emailed Kenra on FB and was basically told that yes the formula changed and that the store should have had signs to let me know it was a new formula. So basically they relied on Ulta to put signs up and barely changed their label. Pretty tricky if you ask me. This shampoo is the only one that doesn't weigh down my hair. I also use the Kenra Thickening Spray.
