I had a breakout of acne on my chin area, and I have no willpower so I popped them all. Left my medium-tan skin with dark spots all on my chin. I started cleansing with this and then used hyaluronic acid afterwards. Both of them together completely got rid of my recent dark spots. The combination has lightly faded old ones I've had too! It does have a scent, but I personally like it! It's a fruity smell, and faded away after a couple minutes. The gel formula works well with oily skin. I didn't break out or anything when using this product. I don't have sensitive skin or anything, so I can't speak on that. I love that this brand is cruelty free as well. Overall, it worked great for me, I think it's worth the price. I purchased mine in early September, use it only at night. Really only a pea-sized amount is enough. I still have a lot left and its been two months, definitely worth the price.Most Helpful Critical ReviewBroke me outI really wanted to like this because it's vegan and so am I but unfortunately it broke me out bad, like really bad. I normally don't have issues with acne, just dark/large pores on my nose and chin. I get the occasional bump on my chin and neck but not really on my face. However, since I started using this face wash I noticed i'd feel bumps under the surface of my cheeks and chin and then bam, acne all over my chin and around my mouth and my skin was soooo dry, which never happens. This was the only new product i've incorporated into my routine and I went a few days without using it and my skin would clear up.
