But I'm a huge supporter of minority-owned brands, so I knew I'd be buying SOMETHING from Uoma. I am SO GLAD I chose the gloss! I bought two. The nude one is magnificent. It's a touch tacky on the lips, but your hair doesn't stick to it and it lasts forever. It's the ultimate "your lips but better" gloss. Get it...you won't regret it! I also love the red one, class, but not as much. It skews a touch orange on me (which is fine but not my favorite). What I will say is that the color is vibrant, lasts a surprisingly long time, and wears down beautifully. This product promised not to be like regular glosses. It was also supposed to have a great color tint, like the color you pick out online. First I'll say, this IS like a normal gloss. Sticky, messy, etc. So I already disliked it. But to have NO color? I mean no color at ALL. I've bought 99 cent glosses that had more color to it than this expensive brand. I bought the neon pink color, and couldn't tell there was any color on my lips at all. I really wanted to like this. And once it wears off it leaves a nice stain behind. It can be a tiny bit drying after it has worn off, but I usually have really dry lips anyway. I just apply more or pop a balm over the remaining color. Please come out with more colors! It is definitely a buildable product and I can see myself using more if I want a bolder look. A light layer looked great for an everyday look and surprisingly, the lip gloss smells really good! I typically only notice bad smelling glosses, but this one smelled sweet but not overpowering. It kind of smells like confectioner's sugar. Overall, a great product and I love the inclusive message behind the company!
