FANTASTIC! My old CHI straightener quit working and I was on a tight budget. I got this straightener on sale for around 50 dollars at the Ulta in Fort Wayne and wow, what a product! I'm not sure if the last reviewer completely understood how to set the temperature on the straightener itself but my hair is thick and frizzy, so I followed the instructions and set it to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, gave it about 4 minutes to warm up, and it worked fantastic. My hair is shiny and smooth, as promised. Quickly I would like to add. I used it just once per section of hair. It has floating ceramic plates, far-infrared beams, and even the one hour shutoff feature like my last straightener. Also, they did not mess around with the cord on this thing. It's 8.5 feet and appliance thick, dual voltage for travel. You can even register for a warranty online. If you are looking for a high quality product on a budget, I definitely recommend checking this product out. I still can't get over what I paid for this product, but if I had to do it again, around 100 is still a great deal when you consider what it can do.
I really wanted to love this straightener, and I got it because it had such good reviews. I'm still deciding whether or not I like it or not. It does a great job of smoothing my hair and leaving me with shiny, beautiful hair. The problem is it doesn't keep my hair pin straight very well, despite the fact that I don't have very tough hair to work with. I can't get it to curl at all yet, but that's less concerning to me than the straightening standpoint.

I purchased this a little over a year ago, it worked great when it was working. Now I turn it on and it only gets warm. Even on the highest heat setting I can grab it with my bare hands. It is not worth it for the cost.

Was probably one of my favorites before but I haven't even had it for a year and now when it turns on its instantly turns off! Waste of money! Do not buy!

I ordered 2 of these. The first one I bought started just blinking and wouldn't heat up after 3 days. Then I bought one to replace that one cause I thought maybe I just got a faulty one after the eva nyc customer service just told me to return it basically. The second one did it too! I feel like it's user error but eva cs didn't say anything about it being fixable. It stinks cause it is reeeaaaallly good and my hair feels so good. I was so sad when the second one started blinking.

Its a decent straightener. It does the job. It heats up well and even. The sad part is my hair kept getting caught in the middle part or the egdes where the black meats the pink. I dont really recommend it for people that have hair that nedd mpre work to get it straight. If you have fine hair you might be fine.

I bought this flat iron and really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, it didn't straighten my hair as well as my chi or hot tools straighteners. Also, it is completely dead within 8 months. I only straighten my hair 2-3 times per week so i am shocked that it broke so quickly. I never wrapped the cord or traveled with it, so there's no reason for it to have stopped working.

The end of the infrared glass strip chipped, and I didn't notice that until I was sweeping through my hair and some of my hair had been sliced off in the process. If you already have this, be careful of the glass strip chipping....

I bought this because I left my Hot Tools straightener while traveling and though about trying something new, but it does not straighten very well. I have curly hair and it left my hair dry feeling and not as straight. It takes a lot longer to style my hair.

I have had this flat iron for less than a year, probably closer to the 6 month mark and it already stopped working. I upgraded my flat iron for no specific reason other than my CHI was old (but still worked) and I love the hair care products this line offers. Overall, I am really disappointed with how quick it burned out considering I have had flat irons for 8 years that still turn on and work. So it's back to the old CHI until I come across another one I am interested in. Other than the fact it stopped working so fast, I had no complaints with the iron itself.

I purchased the hair dryer and loved it so when I was looking for a new straightener I knew I wanted this one. It takes less time and my hair is much softer and shinier.

I have bought 2 of these based on reviews but neither will turn on. There is an audible beep when plugging in, but the power button seems broken-on 2! Waste of time and money! I was so excited to use this flat iron!

Really love this styling iron! It heats up quickly, has protected tips so fingers aren't touching and best of all leaves your hair feeling amazing! Definitely recommend!

Does not glide through hair smoothly, had to make multiple passes to get my hair smooth. Do not recommend

Wanted to love this Iron. Love the size, design and adjustable temp. I felt that I could get straight results with a lower setting than my previous iron, however the infrared plate is inset into the ceramic and creates riddles on each end therefore it pulls, breaks, and snags strands of hair. Would not recommend.

I got this one it was on sale at Ulta and I don't think I've had it for a year and it literally started to burn my hair my hair was Crisping up! I've never had an iron do this I usually just die and don't ever turn on but this one literally started burning my hair I would not recommend I hardly straighten my hair because I like to curl my hair more than to straighten so I only use this to flip my hair or to straighten it when I feel like it which is maybe once or twice a month. If you want a high quality iron I would recommend to spend the money on the good ones.

Bought in April 2022. Worked fine for about 3 months then all buttons began flashing and had to unplug to turn off. Went through all the evidentiary proof of purchase, four photos etc and received a new iron from the manufacturer. The new one didn't heat very well from the outset. Quit today after less than three weeks. Totally worthless!

I really wanted to like this tool, but its not made to last. I bought one June 2021 and it broke in March 2022, and since it was under warranty I paid shipping to get a replacement. That replacement lasted 4 months and broke again. Each time it would flash blue lights and never heat up. They both stopped working in such a short time and I only used this tool maybe twice a week to do my hair. It snagged my hair and was okay while it lasted. I've asked customer service each time if this is usual for this tool and each time they disregard the question. I wouldn't waste my money on this.

I liked it, it's just sad I had to clean the plates as I use it and it died so quick.

The straightener it's OK if you already have straight or slightly wavy hair because it doesn't really change your hair that much. I've been using the straightener for about a year now and currently shopping for a new one because I'm just not satisfied I feel like I straighten my hair and two hours later it's catching some type of wave I also have naturally straight hair so it's very frustrating because I don't expect much from a straightener than to actually hold the straight style. I don't honestly see a less damaging affect I feel like if anything all of my split ends are a lot more noticeable I've also noticed that both sides of the plates don't get evenly hot. I give it three stars because it's cute it has a cool digital temperature setting and the color is nice but as far as effectiveness goes it's really not that great. My conair Infiniti straightener works a lot better :/

I got this straightener back in 2020 when I was traveling and left mine at home and I have never been happier. I have very thick and curly hair which I hate so I straighten my hair around every other day to every 2 days. I have been using this straightener for 2 years now and my hair has no heat damage which I assume is caused from the infrared. I would definitely recommend using this product, I have referred so many people and they all LOVE it!

Great straightener, it makes my hair shiny and sleek. Love the color and it's very easy to hold.

I have natural, thick 3c/4a/4b hair, and I use heat sparingly in it. I am always looking for a flat iron that treats my hair as gently as possible, considering it is still extreme heat. I bought this on a lark during the hair beauty deals, and i'm in love with it! I don't have to use max heat on it like I do with the Chi irons, and it straightens in a single pass. I have been recommending it to every single friend that will listen to me about it. I need to buy another one to keep in reserve just in case.

I received it as a Christmas gift and I used it once. When I was going to use it for the second time it had already died. It's not worth the money!!
