When I saw there was a new fortify product that is marketed as a "healthier" option for the original product I decided to try it out. BIG mistake. The reason its "better" for your nails is because the base coat does not actually adhere to your nails. The polish began to peel without even getting my nails wet. Extremely disappointed. It is sticky once cured so for those who are inexperienced with UV polishes - they may think it didn't cure. I want to like it because its good for your nails, I definitely feel like they're stronger. But the manicure never lasts. One hot shower and they pop right off and if not, they start peeling off on their own after just about 4 days. Ive used different brands of gel colors with it and always get the same result. The colors of the fortify line are great, however, I'm not 100% sold on the base or top coat. The wear was much less; it was literally peeling off of my nails by day 6. I'll give it another try, but I might be sticking with the regular base and top coat where I do get a solid 2 weeks of wear.
