I've got long hair that's pretty fine - since it weighs itself down, it needs some help in the volume department. Unfortunately, this product was heavy and sticky. It added a ton of texture, but felt stiff, almost like there was clay in my hair. I couldn't wait to wash it out ... which pretty much defeats the purpose of dry shampoo. This product might be great for up dos, but not for wearing my hair down. I switched from washing my hair 2-3 times a week to once a week and my scalp is healthy. I've used the original Batiste prior to this one and while it also works it would sometimes be streaky, however the Volumizing one is the best, it's easy to comb it through with no streaks or residue, doesn't stain clothes or bed linen, doesn't make your hair stiff, no overbearing scent. I have fine blonde colored hair and this is the only dry shampoo I can use that doesn't weigh my hair down. I think the key for any dry shampoo is applying less is best and do not apply all over but exposed hairline areas.
