There are not many things that impress me, but there are not many things that I hate either. So I had hopes reading the claims on the outside of the sample package I had of this shampoo and conditioner, I like the idea of volume, I like anything that cleans my hair. Coffee smells pretty good even. So it was a terrible shock to me while I opened it and it reeked of lotus and some other floral scent. I was gagging on it but persevered: I should not have, it made the ends of my hair crunchy/crispy, my hair felt dry- normally pool water has to be involved for that to happen, and my hair even after being rinsed in clean water stunk to high heaven. Now admittedly, I am mildly sensitive to floral scents, but never before has a shampoo made me sick to my stomach. The last time I had such strong feeling about a shampoo and conditioner it fried my hair for the next week, this was not that bad, but it was terrible for me and I would not suggest it for fine haired people. The BIOTIN hask spray is the one with COFFEE in it and adds VOLUME. Just irritated she would dismiss a product she clearly didn't use. That said I have curly hair that I will blow out with a round dryer to have loser curls or go straight. I love this spray to smooth and calm fly aways. Creams tend to weight my hair down and make it look dirty. This is a protein based spray so if you're hair doesn't need protein( very dry and damaged) it will make your hair worse for wear. Use the argan one instead which is more moisture vs protein. Or be like me and use both on different days lol. Cus who doesn't love hasks argan lineNot sure about this one2Alicia from Delaware, USAI like Hask products, but unfortunately, I haven't noticed much of a difference with this shampoo. My hair is a bit fluffier, but there isn't enough thickness and volume there to say this works as intended. I love the scent and it makes my hair feel great, but a product needs to do what it says it will. I have type 2c and 3a hair.
