I have very full, dark eyebrows. This pencil did an amazing job of giving me the control to shape my brow with clean lines. The result was a polished and professional look. My brows look fabulous! I also shaped my Mom's brows with the same pencil. Her brows are thinner, more sparse and lighter. This brow pencil gave her a fuller and defined look. She loved her brows. Impressively, the color "Universal Taupe" adjusted to both our different brow hair shades. A stroke using the spooley brush provided a nice, even finish! The pencil is really easy to use. The triangular tip rises up and down with a twist of the pencil. I filled in my brow with the wider side and defined using the tip! If you want to achieve fullness in your brows with precision detailing this is the make up product for you!!! Love IT!Most Helpful Critical ReviewModerately impressed, but it broke!I was able to fill on one brow before the pencil broke and I could not twist it to get the pencil to come back up. I was nervous the pencil was too light for my black/brown hair, but it worked! It didn't look too heavy with going over My brow a few times. It also didn't look much different than my usual brow pencil. I was hoping for it to be more neat. I naturally have very thick eyebrows, but liked it for filling it in. The pencil I just opened (purchased back in July of this year) does not work at all. I am not sure if they have changed the formulation or if I just received a defective pencil but I am furious! This is not a cheap item and I feel as though I have wasted my money because I cannot even use the product as it does not show up on my skin. I do like the wider pencil for coverage and it great to "draw" the outline on my brow, however, to fill in the lines I have to press down more which results in my brow hairs falling out.
