I have used this cleansing oil for many, many years and absolutely love it! That hasn't changed, but I've noticed on the last 2 bottles that a leak develops around the outside base of the white pump near where it meets the clear bottle. It builds up until it drips down the side of the bottle. I keep my bottle under the sink and just reach in and pump it when needed so I didn't immediately notice this leak, not until it made a real mess. I first thought it was just the last bottle but my current bottle is doing the same thing. It not only is wasting the oil, but it makes a mess and I've had to sit the bottle in a small dish. Still, I love this product!
A bit of background, I've been struggling with a bit of cystic acne and damaged skin barrier during quarantine. I was upset that I was having a glow down so I got disciplined with my skincare routine. I purchased this product a while ago and reintroduced it in a double cleansing regimen. Note: I had a gentle, minimalistic routine for acne with CervaVe, sunscreen, etc. After a month I began to notice my skin was still oily, forming cystic acne yet now it felt dehydrated and started forming SANDPAPER-LIKE-BUMPS. I freaked out and thought it was congestion. I added AHAs/BHAs back in, then my skin was REALLY MAD and the bumps were EVERYWHERE. I couldn't figure out what it was. All I knew was my skin was so much worse, I had acne, the skin barrier was still compromised and no amount of moisturizer was fixing the texture. I spent a few months playing with product elimination and when I removed this my skin softened up after two washes!!! This was literally cleaning off my skin barrier. In retrospect I realized this was consistently stripping my skin, even when my skin was healthy. Overall, Just because it works well doesn't mean it's good for you. And although it's a customer favorite notice that it's never been recommended by a dermatologist or skincare specialist.

Micellar water, coconut oil based cleansers, makeup wipes, none of it compares to this oil. I've always had a hard time removing makeup without leaving my skin dry or not fully removing everything. This gets it all in one go, ESPECIALLY mascara which is so hard to get off! New favorite cleanser!!!

I hated this oil. It doesn't remove makeup and I had to wash my face extra to get this oil off. I gave it away and I don't recommend it. I have heard this was as good as a more expensive brand of oil I use.. its not.

I used this for a few months until i realized i had stubborn chin acne that kept resurfacing. I usually only get a handful of pimples per year and can usually try new products with no consequences . It has started to clear up after discontinuing. Will go back to beauty counter cleansing oil and this must be clogging my pores up

Ok so I havent tried many other oil cleansers, but this is the holy grail for me. I never felt that I had to try other oil cleansers because this one feels so wonderfully perfect! The differnce in my skin after just one night of using this vs micellar water was amazing. My skin truly felt CLEANED. Balnced. I use it to take off my makeup and/or sunscreen and then I cleanse with a creamy vitamin c face wash. I love it so much i love the pump and the consistency and they way it transforms with water for easy clean off.

I personally love this oil. I bought it on a whim and it literally got everything off. I wiped with micellar water to see how well it removed my makeup and my cloth was nearly clean. I love it as a pre cleanser. For transparency, i dont normally wear heavy makeup anymore. Usually just a tinted moisturizer or tinted SPF following light handed application of other products.

I purchased the sample size to see if I wanted to commit to the full size. It does the job, but there are so many better ones at a much more affordable price point.

There was nothing special about this oil. It did an okay job of cleansing the skin as part of a double cleansing routine. It has the texture of olive oil (haha of course because it is olive oil based) and it feels like rubbing straight olive oil on your face. It smells like a watered down version of olive oil. It left my skin feeling a bit oily. It is not the worse oil cleanser, but also not the best. I bought the travel sized and it lasted a few weeks so it's not bad for the price. Will not buy it again.

I purchased this to use on my nose and chin. It did wonders for my nose, but completely broke my chin out. I would repurchase, just pay close attention to how your skin reacts.

I added this product to my skin care routine in the evening for double cleansing. A little goes a long way & it effectively removed makeup even stubborn eye makeup. It does literally feel/smell like youre rubbing olive oil into your face lol before you emulsify with water. It did rinse off easily & did not leave a greasy residue. I have very dry/sensitive skin & i dont feel like this is too harsh or stripping. did not clog pores or break me out but i do follow up with a hydrating water based cleanser after.

Love this! I wear a full face of makeup most days and i use this in combination with a light cleanser. This will get everything to loosen and slide right off but i like to follow up with a cleanser to get anything I miss off. A little goes a long way and even with a full face (including liquid foundation, setting powder, waterproof mascara, eyebrow pomade and eyeshadow) I use maybe 2-3 pumps.

The oil easily took my makeup off. However, as soon as the makeup was off my face started burning and itching very bad. It also got very red… not sure why.

I'm on the hunt for a new oil cleanser for my double cleanse routine so I tried this one out. It smells like eucalyptus to me, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion but some people are sensitive to smell. Anyways...it emulsifies well enough but doesn't really take off mascara well. I also might be allergic to it. I'm not really a sensitive skin gal but this really irritated my skin. I got kind of splotchy, red, and itchy. So basically if you have sensitive skin stay clean maybe and if you don't like smelly skincare definitely don't get this.

I have been using this product for about 8 years. My daughter and daughter in laws both use it. I have recommended it to friends...family and strangers! I apply on dry skin, giving my eyelashes and face a nice massage...dampen hands and continue..rinse followed by cleanser..leaves me with a clean, ready to receive treatment face!

I saw someone online talk about how cleansing oils can loosen sebaceous filaments and decided to give it a go. It definitely helped me get smaller pores! But it is very stripping to the skin. I would only use this 2-3 times a week knowing what I know now. I used it 2 days in a row after purchasing and now my skin is feeling slightly painful and looking a bit blotchy, but the pores on my nose definitely look smaller. My skin is usually built like steel and very resistant to topicals, so the name "deep cleansing" definitely rings true.

Absolute game changer. I've literally tried every for 5 years to get rid of the small black dots all over nose and this is the fir thing that actually worked!!! I will absolutely repurchase.

This has been the best face wash ever. Take all kinds of eye makeup smoothly and leaves your skins very hydrated.

I had been dying to try this and decided to get the travel size. I usually use the Banilla Co cleansing balm. In my opinion its a great product i have acne prone skin and it didnt break me out. I did experience the blurry vision after but it removed well enough. I will probably stay with Banilla Co for convience and price but, this product itself was great and I can see why alot of people like it.

At first, I really liked this product. Had no apparent oily residue. Then I started getting horrible cystic acne on my chin area. When I discontinued use, it slowly went away. This has olive oil, which is a comedogenic ingredient, and I think I'm very sensitive to it. For reference, I would rinse it with water, and follow up with Cerave Foaming Cleanser each time (making sure to lather very thoroughly). Wish it worked for me.

Got the smallest size to try a few months ago. I use it every night to double cleanse and I've sern a HUGE difference! My skin is clearer than its ever been, and the texture (especially around my nose) is pretty much gone (obviously ive still got pores but its smooth to the touch for the first time since i was little. When it runs out I think I'll buy the full size (note: if it gets in/too near your eyes youll get blurry vision; it doesnt hurt and goes away after a bit, especially if you wipe it away from your eyes with a tissue)
