I am about to be 50 and have been a makeup addict my entire life. I have I think every foundation sold but they just dont look good for various reasons. I also have a lot of redness and veins showing in eye corners and top eyelids. When I am just running around town I really have gotten away from wearing make up. Even when I go somewhere I just don't have the energy to put on a full face of make up anymore. None of it looks as good as it used to look and People have been telling me that I look younger without all the makeup. So I typically wear just foundation with a little bronze and highlight now. The problem has been that all of my foundations look made up and you can't really wear them alone or it's completely fake looking. I have tried everything and there are only 2 foundations that work for me a 100% and weirdly both of them are really inexpensive. The one made by countries is wonderful and it covers well but you can't really tell it's there and this 1 is even better. It's free for becoming a diamond member from ulta and as soon as I put it on I knew this was the one. I literally can give away all my high end foundations and just use this every day. it feels good and truly can feel repairing claim. The very best part of this foundation is that I normally need a full coverage foundation but this covers it ALL perfectly Nd looks like no makeup! this is a dream come true covering all veins and flaws and makes me look a decade younger! I have never made a claim like this about any piece of make up. Every time I get a chance I'm going to buy backups just in case they ever discontinue this perfect foundation for aging skin. It makes your face literally flawless more than any foundation I tried in my life ...
I've been using this as my foundation for about six months (through winter, into spring) along with the Clinique setting powder - I got both in a sale on Ulta. I apply it with a beauty-blender type sponge and it has good coverage. I also think the variety of color options are good. I am very fair skinned with neutral-warm undertones and I sometimes have a hard time finding foundations that don't make me look orange or pink. I do not have that problem with this foundation. Now for the cons. The most significant con that I want people to know about is that this product will settle into fine (and not-so-fine) lines and just generally separate and cake up as the day goes on. As I mentioned, I use the Clinique setting powder, and I also use a setting spray (that I have used for years with success, until now) and I still have problems with this makeup moving around and wearing off in a really obvious and ugly way. I think honestly the fact that this has such good coverage to start is it's downfall when it wears off because it's just so obvious. The other con with this makeup is more subjective, but as soon as a started using this makeup I started getting blemishes on my skin. I am not prone to breakouts and trend on the dry-side, I do however have somewhat sensitive skin. These blemishes I would not describe as a true zit- they didn't have a head on them. They were more just raised red irritated pores that would pop-up during the day and then mostly go away at at night while I slept (i.e. when my face was clean). I thought maybe my skin needed to adjust but it never went away, even after I tried changing up my cleansing/exfoliating routine in the hope that it would help. I will be switching back to my previous foundation - bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. The coverage is much less, but my skin is clearer when I use it so I don't need the coverage. It also feels a lot better on my skin, and looks better to boot.

The very best Silk has been thrown out Only to invite this patchy formula. Supposedly for older skin. Don't even think about placing under your eye area unless you want elephant skin. Must choose lighter shade than usual. Oxidizes almost immediately before even patting your powder. States full coverage. I would rate horrible. Doesn't cover the lightest dark spot. Easily marks off if you touch your face. Love to give this a zero. Bought two. Oat and vanilla. Trying to replace my Sahara and vanilla Silks. Neither the same consistency or color match. What a fail. Zero

I have tried sooo many foundations since hitting my 50's to try to hydrate, minimize lines and pores and even out skin tone. I use a lot of other Clinique products but have never tried any of their foundations. I had a Clinique consultant in an Ulta help me find my perfect shade and I have to say I am just blown away by the results! It ticks off all of my boxes for the perfect foundation. My new holy grail. Please do not discontinue this one, Clinique!

I have tried 46 which I felt was a little too golden/tan so I tried 44 to see if it was lighter and I cannot tell the difference between the two. I think I will try one more time with a fairer color because I like the way formula looks and feels. But as I venture out into more public/social events I get self conscience that it is just too tan for me. I would recommend going a shade lighter if you fall between fair and tan skin. But I'm still experimenting myself.

Love this product, bought on a whim and its amazing especially for dry skin like mine! Blends into ur skin right away! Will hold up in most extremes climates and doesn't feel heavy or cakey on the skin! Only few cons 1. Tends to oxidize very fast so get a shade lighter 2. Needs a good primer and a good setting spray! But its literally one of the only foundations that gives good coverage with a glow and has a good shade selection especially for medium to dark tones!

I use it daily and have thrown out all my other foundations. The person at the store helped find a perfect match. Never had a closer match - that's the key to it looking great.

Great everyday product . I was looking for something to provide more even coverage than my previous Bb cream. After trying a few other brands I found Clinique that gave good coverage but was light and creamy enough to not look caked on my dry skin

My HG foundation, been using for two years and my skin has never been better. I am ghostly pale, and the lightest color is my perfect match. Blurs imperfections, does not cling to dry patches, adjustable coverage, just perfect. I will cry if this ever gets discontinued.

I would have never chosen this on my own, but it was the only product to select from when you reach platinum status that I hadn't tried. I had little expectations for it, but it's amazing! I get compliments every time I wear it. It seems matte to me but not in a dry way. It also is more of a medium coverage than full coverage. I don't think it changed or repaired my skin visibly but it holds makeup really well and doesn't break down as you wear it all day. The ulta employee color matched me by holding the bottles up to my face and it was spot on! I will absolutely be repurchasing this!

I was impressed with the coverage. It went on smoothly and stayed fresh looking all day.

This is definitely my fave. Evens out skin tone and my skin feels moisturized all day. Coverage is beautiful and a little goes a long way. Need to use a dab of concealer on a couple of stubborn dark spots, set with a little loose powder and I'm done. I love this formula and would highly recommend.

Second tube that I have purchased. I used the Clinique Even Better base..........I had a hard time finding it in stock - guessing due to the COVID-19. So, I thought I would try this. It's fine - heavier than the Even Better.

Good color matching, smooth applying product but by the end of a first night out with social distancing, with and without mask, it settled into every line horribly, including those I didn't know existed with less expensive drugstore brands. There is a definite problem with this product because I have very good skin. I moisturized and used serum as usual, particularly before going out doors. I actually thought it would be overly moisturizing like some of the Lancome products can be but this was awful especially under the mask area and under my eyes where it gave my skin which is porcelain like, an overall rough dried out look after 4 hours. It's like the product dried out as you wore and increased every hour. definitely returning I used a little bit of it translucent powder but I've used that before and never had a problem so I know this makeup was the issue. It's a great foundation... I love Clinique... I just wish it would wear off so quickly.

This product is wonderful for my 'mature' 35yo skin that saw 28years of the harsh Australian sun before moving to CA. It hydrates and looks natural without any flakyness. I dont get any powdery, blotchy, satchsquatchy nonsense (why is everything mattifying?) I don't wear any powder and I always exfoliate and moisturize before applying. My first day using i tested it out on a 12 hour work day, applied at 430am with fingers. Wore through 2 jobs working retail shipments, unloading trucks, unboxing product. High paced,, sweating etc and by 730pm I still looked like a fresh faced woman. I can build the coverage where I need to. And I can use the same as a kind of concealer for light redness. It is versatile and a perfect match for me

Foundation has great coverage. I do not like the newer foundations that clump in creases. I have sensitive skin and this has been great since Clinique no longer makes the foundation I used to love. This has been a great replacement.

I have this in 3 shades, for winter, spring and summer. They blend effortlessly on my very dry skin, even without a moisturizer. With a moisturizer, they give the most amazing natural looking skin and blur most imperfections. I don't even need a powder but if you are less dry, you might. This is not "full" coverage, as they claim, I would say it is light to medium. And with an amazing shade range, you cannot go wrong.

Clinique, I just love most products. I remember my mother bringing me to a store for my first professional makeup application. Wow! I was looking forward to trying this hydrating, correcting formula for indoor or night use, but it was streaky, sunk into pores, and actually dried out skin. I tried multiple application techniques with a primer, etc., but it just won't blend. I started as directed from the center out with a circular motion, but it just was very blotchy and clumpy over all while highlighting imperfections further. It was like a thick layer of mess that I had to remove through washing and clarifying all over again. I love the new arrival NEW Even Better Clinicalâ„¢ Serum Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 25!! Maybe this formula is more suited to mature skin? It just glides on beautifully!

This foundation is amazing for my dry, sensitive skin! It's hydrating, doesn't cling to my dry patches, and has a really pretty natural finish. I honestly can't recommend this enough!
