body{margin-left:12%}Product ReviewsRated 4.67 out of 5 stars853 ReviewsMost Helpful Positive ReviewBeyond Happy With This OrderI got a sample of the Forever Peach lip stain a while ago from a friend and have been using it religiously— although it looks bright orange it goes on beautifully, and makes my lips just a nicer, deeper shade of pink (I am under 17 and it looks perfect on me, and I have no doubt it would have the same effect on someone older). I think it's worth mentioning that after three months of use, my sample product (about a third of the size of the full size product) has barely even shrunk (as in, I think I will probably be able to use my sample one for another year and a half before it's gone). I finally worked up the courage to buy the full size product (so I could have one in my makeup bag and the other to switch between bags) two days ago. I got it in the mail TODAY (without even purchasing the $20 express shipping), and when I opened it up it was in the cutest wrapping. There was a little envelope and inside was a card where one of the employees had handwritten "Enjoy!" , and on the backside of that was a description of Iredale Cosmetics. Behind that paper was a printout of my order. After taking away the envelope, I found yellow tissue paper (marked with the 'i' logo) with a sticker with the 'i' logo on it to seal the tissue paper, and there was even a little lavender stick there too! I'm not a total fan of lavender, but it made me feel like they were reaching out directly to me, like it's something they didn't have to do, but did it anyway. It's the little things, you know? Anyway the box for the lip stain is so cute, and inside the lip stain is a perfect size. It looks so sleek and I'm already in love. I put it on, and it goes on just as it should, giving my lips that extra pop. Oh and the box even comes with a little tutorial paper on how to put it on. Overall, I could not be more happy with this product. This is the first Jane Iredale product I've ever used, and definitely will not be the last. I also think it's worth mentioning that I personally am not a makeup-crazy person— I don't contour or do any serious makeup, especially lipstick. I am very very pale and lipstick contrasts too much with my skin. This lip stain, on the other hand, is very subtle, very easy to put on (I can't manage putting on lipstick for my life), and very forgiving if you mess up a little. If I could give my experience with this product and shipping experience a rating, I would give it a 20/10. I would apologize for the length of this review, but I really want to stress how much I love this product and hopefully encourage anyone thinking of buying it to do so.Most Helpful Critical ReviewDefinitely a love/hate relationship...I should probably begin by saying that I would never have considered buying ANY lip and cheek stain that is "self adjusting". Everything in that category I've tried before becomes a really hideous color on me. However, I received a free sample of Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain, Forever Pink in a previous order from Jane Iredale. I was bowled over! It's awesome! It's very dense and firm so it's easy to apply to super thin lips. It is not glossy at all and not goopy or messy. Almost like chapstick but much smoother. And the color...completely natural while still adding subtle color that is buildable. Like I said, awesome. So I placed an order for the lip stain and a few other items. Package arrived in about a week and the Lip Stain quickly became my favorite product (Sugar & Butter is a close second). It may actually be my all-time favorite lip product. I put what was left of my little sample in my handbag and developed a routine of applying the Lip Stain about six times a day, usually with nothing else. About 10 days into our relationship, DISASTER! I opened the tube one morning for my first application of the day and several pieces fell out. Yes, pieces. I've heard of lipsticks breaking off but mine CRUMBLED. A few pieces went down the sink drain and the rest were all over the floor. I salvaged what I could (that wasn't covered in cat hair from the bathroom rug) and put the little chunks into an empty contact lens case. I keep trying to use it but due to the density, it doesn't really lend itself to brush application. My little sample is nearly gone and I'm not sure what to do next. I really love the product, so much so that I could almost give up all other lip products. But 10 days? And what's with the crumbling? I've never even heard of that happening. Once I received it, it never left my cosmetic bag which never leaves my bathroom. It wasn't exposed to chemicals, extreme temperature changes, trauma, or anything. What went wrong? I hope it's as simple as I got a "bad batch" because if so, I would highly recommend this to others and it will remain at the top of my list.
