So to get started I've this product for almost two weeks now which really isn't enough time to actually review a product especially for your face but it is kind of all the time I've needed. I love the smell of cooked oranges and this is exactly what it smells like but for my face to smell like this is another subject. A more sweeter smell would have been an improvement. For some unknown reason it burns my dry areas of my face which for me would be around my nose and upper lip, especially after I wash my face. Now don't get me wrong I do like it, the bottle is cute and the dropper is a nice touch of Aesthetic. Would I recommend this product, yes but not to someone with my facial type. I get really dry in certain areas of my face and I don't think this product is useful for someone with my dryness, especially if it burns. I don't know maybe I'm just super sensitive to certain facial products. But I really do enjoy the smell even if I don't recommend it on your face.
I was excited to try this product out. I loved the packaging. But as soon as I opened the product I immediately did not like the smell of it I for one cannot continue to use a product that smells bad so I only used it once. I wish I had a better review but I couldn't get past the smell it was making me frown the whole time it was on my face I had to wash it off. So I suggest they change the formula to a better smell. Sorry

My bottle was brand new and sealed. The serum was alot darker than shown. Turned my skin orange. I hope it washes out in the morning. The smell is strange. Ill give it a few tries at night, given it doesn't keep my skin orange

The product itself does its job. However the smell is awful. At first it smelt like perm solution then I realized it smelt more like salami. Had to rewash my face because I couldn't bare the smell.

I have been using for 3 weeks now and have noticed a difference in my skin. I will admit that it does smell bad, but the smell dissipates after about 15 minutes. You should also make sure that your face is completely dry after washing before applying because it can sting and burn. I had no problems with it after making sure my sking was completely dry about 20 or 30 minutes after washing and applied in the a.m. I plan to buy again. It has a great combination of ingredients in it for your skin which is why I bought it.

This has a little bit of burn to it but it's amazing at rapid repair and even tone recovery. Dark spots and acne spots are disappearing quickly, discoloration is fading.

I am a board-certified dermatologist. This is my personal favorite vitamin C serum and the one that I recommend to my patients. This serum contains the exact same, highly-effective combination of ingredients as the gold-standard SkinCeuticals serum, at just a fraction of the cost. It also has additional ingredients that are proven to fight redness and pigmentation issues. Vitamin C is a very difficult product to formulate in a way that's effective and shelf stable. Unfortunately, all of the best serums that use the effective form of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) tend to feel tacky and have an unpleasant smell (for example, SkinCeuticals is known to smell like hotdog water)— obviously not ideal, but that's just a small price you pay in order to reap the benefits of a highly beneficial skincare ingredient. If a vitamin C serum doesn't feel slightly tacky or have an odd smell, it likely doesn't contain L-ascorbic acid and therefore, isn't formulated in a way that's effective, shelf stable, or leading to any long term benefit for your skin. As far as vitamin C serums go, I think the smell of this one is actually not bad..even somewhat pleasant. They've done a good job of masking the underlying "hotdog water" smell of all ascorbic acid-containing products. Yes, it goes on slightly tacky, but it eventually dries down and the tackiness goes away after a moisturizer is applied. It works well under my moisturizer, sunscreen, and makeup. I have sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin and am currently taking Accutane— making my skin extra sensitive this winter. When used once a day in the morning, my skin has no problem tolerating this serum and I have not experienced any breakouts or irritation. Incorporating vitamin C into your skincare routine is well worth it, but the results are not immediate. It takes several months of consistent, daily use to see the full benefits. This product does leave a nice "glow" immediately after using it, but the real benefits take place several months down the road, so I encourage you to stick with it and be patient. I highly recommend this product!

I have pretty durable skin with all products. This has given me such a bad rash and now blisters are forming. Literally avoid at all costs!!! This was brutal! I'm so worried about the scaring this is going to cause!!

I was recommended this by an ulta employee and I noticed my skin was brighter within a week of using it as directed. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it smells like foster farms sliced ham. But if it works I can live with that.

Everyone saying it stinks—-true. BUT! Works so well and leaves my skin with the best glow and texture. I love thicker face products and this feels soo good upon application. It is sticky but I don't mind; however, it doesn't mesh *that* well with other products

This product does stink pretty bad but it's tolerable to me. It is also very sticky and thick and does not sink into the skin easily. I'm gonna continue to see if it works so far no results. I get better results from okay vitamin c serum.. now that stuff is amazing and also good price point

I have gotten hyperpigmentation/eczema from mask wearing at work. This product is evening out my skin tone already! It is a bit sticky and takes awhile to sink in, but so far I'm very pleased with the results

I have been using this serum for years. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. Since I've been using it I can tell how much of a difference the dark spots on my face has faded.

I mean, it's really REALLY bad. I had to rewatch my face and start the routine over. I can't do it.

I'd give a zero if I could. It smells terrible and broke me out in a rash by the next morning.

This serum does make your face glow and it doesn't have that tingling sensation as the night serum do.

I've been using this product 2x a day for about a month and a half now. I've noticed a world of a difference even those around me have begun to compliment my skin, something that never happened before. My face looks more even and smooth than before and I have noticed significantly less breakouts. While I do agree that the smell is bad, its worth it to me because I have not had this much of a success with a product before. Will be purchasing another bottle!

I like this product after using it for two weeks now. There is a smell but other than that my skin looks more even and has a glow to it. So I'm satisfied with it

I just started using this so I don't know how it works yet but I will agree that I hate the smell, so I'm giving it low marks for the smell lol, hopefully the product works & the smell will be worth it

Smells disgusting. Tried to ignore, with in 30 minutes my entire face was broken out in a hot red rash.

The hyperpigmentation I have on my cheek has been fading and overall my skin tone is evening out. I started by using the product every other day (being cautious) and plan to try it everyday in another week or two. No adverse effects on my skin. It does have an interesting smell but it fades.

Saw a video on Insta that this helps with strawberry legs and evening skin tone. I have the Even Tone soap and I don't mind that smell so figured this would be ok. I ignored the reviews about the smell because I planned to use it on my legs BUT this is 100% a no. To me it's reminding me of the leftover smell from cigarettes. I'm going to use the bottle because it's not worth returning. Instant headaches. SOS my strawberry legs.
