Honestly, I was shocked (in a good way) by the results. My lashes are average length and light colored. With this mascara they looked much longer and fuller. It was a super dramatic difference and more impressive than other (more expensive) mascaras I've tried. Two caveats: You have to be careful when applying to avoid getting it on your eyelids. Also, I wouldn't recommend this for a natural, "no makeup" look, because (in my experience) it makes your lashes look way better than they could in real life! This mascara is awesome!Most Helpful Critical ReviewGreat Mascara, Blue one SMELLS TERRIBLESo I'm not generally a fan of covergirl mascaras because they don't give enough impact...but this one is great! The wand is great, no clumping, and it thickens, lengthens, and adds loads of volume. My only complaint is that the blue one smells so foul! It's like I'm putting death on my eyelashes and it's a huge deterrent! Covergirl, please fix this, I don't understand how it made it to the market with the terrible smell!! Other than that, I look forward to purchasing the black one because I love how it looks. This formula is dryer than some mascaras but I personally really like that about this. It really makes your lashes more separated and fluffy. It doesn't smudge but it does flake a bit at the end of the day. I have a very hard time find masacras that will curl but also HOLD the curl. This one absolutely does! I get nice volume as well. The downside for me is that the brush picks up an insane amount of product that will transfer on your eyelahses into giant globs of mascara.
