I like this product because it is lightweight, water resistant, and applies smoothly. I purchased the 2 oz. size which fits nicely in my purse. The reason why I bought it was because it was highly rated in a national magazine and was said to be invisible and not leave that white residue that most sunscreens leave behind. I found that this is not necessarily true for people like myself who do not have fair skin. On me, it actually does leave that white residue. For that reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 rating. Other than that, it's a great product.
Sorry to say but imo this is one of the worst facial sunscreens I have ever tried. It's supposed to be "invisible" but it is so thick and white that I looked like I dusted my face with flour. I had to wash it off with an oil cleanser after about 15 minutes because my skin couldn't breathe due to the thick formula. Also, it has little grains in it, like grains of sand. Couldn't figure that out but the grains wouldn't go away, even after I shook the tube for about 30 seconds. On a positive note, for the 15 minutes that I had it on my face, it did not sting or burn my eyes.

Does not rub into akin well. Causes a very obvious white cast and is not hydrating at all! I will be returning.

I use the CeraVe daily moisturizer with SPF 30, but wanted to have an option with higher SPF as well, so I got this sunscreen. I have fair skin, and it left a very obvious white cast on me. It did not blend in well either. I wanted to love it, but unfortunately the whitecast is just too extreme for me. When I wear sunscreen, I want it to look and feel like nothing is on my face.

I mistakenly only brought this to a wedding. Im very fair but it was so white and sticks on everything. Left a terrible residue. Will transfer onto your clothes. It felt like you could rub it in for hours and it still wouldn't be any better.

This is the worst sunscreen that I have ever used. Drying, the zinc clumps and collects. It settles into wrinkles, it sticks into eyebrows. Literally Santa brows. I guess it that is the look you are going for? I have included a few photos of my arms but I assure you my face looks the same. I will never buy this again. This product needs a complete reformulation. Pros: Fragrance and oil free Cons: so drying (opposite of "hydrating" as they named it) Settles in wrinkles Goes on and dries down patchy and chalky Micro clumps. Santa brows.

I got this sunscreen and was honestly a big waste of my money. Usually I really like Cerve skin care products so I bought it but the whitecast is so bad even when I use the tiniest amount(defeats the purpose of sunscreen) and blend it in really well, It's still leaves my skin looking purpleish bluish not to mention it feels very thick and heavy on your face and fingers. although I can't bash them too much because pretty much every mineral sunscreen does the same just telling you to watch out but personally I do not recommend this product at all

Horrible white cast no matter how much you rub it in, no matter how little you use. looks like i dusted flour on my face. false advertising, do not buy this unless you are the color of white paper. and i'm white!

Honestly had high hopes for this product but it was a complete and utter disappointment, it made me look purple and white, the more I tried to blend it in the clumplier it got. The product really clings to hair so with being a Mexican women it was a recipe for disaster. At first I thought it was only purple and white because I have a darker complexion, but my boyfriend that is a way fairer skintone also applied it onto their face..and again completely purple and wouldnt blend what so ever! Do not recommend unless you are dressing up as a grape for Halloween!

First of all, I think this is the first negative review I've ever written for a product. I bought this product because of the brand name and knowing they have good skincare products. And how can you mess up sunscreen if you're already this reputable at this point, ya know? APPARENTLY YOU CAN BECAUSE IT LOOKED LIKE I DIED AND I COULD NOT GET THIS OFF MY FACE!!! Do not get this unless you have 0 melatonin in your skin or are okay looking like Morticia Addams for Halloween and ran out of face paint.

This sunblock is really bad, it has a horrible white cast no matter how fair you are you still can see it. I would not recommend this one.

its impossible to use. makes me pale and purple, even when applying tiny bit. the smell is awful, the texture is very thick, hard to spread on the face

The worst face sunscreen I've ever used. Almost impossible to rub in, and leaves a white cast on your face. Wish I could return.

Don't buy if you are darker than beige.

I'm religious about facial SPF and I've tried a million. I've never, ever seen another one this bad. Using a normal amount of sunscreen I literally looked like I was doing some kind of offensive geisha costume. Caked in white. Even washing with a washcloth and water wasn't enough to get it off, I needed to rewatch my face. Even trying to use as tiny an amount as I can (way less than my dermatologist says to use) there's a bad white cast. This is all on light/medium olive skin (Italian and Irish). Unless you're a ghost, this will not work for you.

This has a horrible white cast that will not go away no matter how much you try to rub it in. This would probably work if you are the color of a white crayon. It also clings to any dry patches you may have. It's not good.

A lot of withe cast

This sunscreen is really bad. It leaves such a bad rash on my face and literally sucks the life out of my face. My face is so dry after I use it and I have to use a hydration face mask for over a week to relock moisture. It left cracks in my skin and my face was a desert. Do not recommend!
