I have used the old formula and this one is much improved. The old one separated and hardened into globs that resembled hardened honey making it difficult to get out of the tube. It was also very balm like bordering on greasy. This version is white and fluffy; hydrating but not oily. It rinses off nicely. I have very dry skin but think anyone could use this. It has much better mass appeal that the original formula which I would not have repurchased. I would still double cleanse if wearing a full face of makeup but one cleanse with this is perfect for a morning cleanse or a minimal makeup evening cleanse. It's very pleasant to use and I'm glad I had another opportunity to try it.
