This couldn't have come at a more perfect time. The day this arrived in the mail was the day I bleached my hair. In the past my hair would be dry, brittle and lacking well... EVERYTHING. But using this Matrix Keep Me Vivid Shampoo, my hair is not only feeling and looking healthy but it's silky smooth. I love washing my hair now because there is no waxy buildup in my hair thanks to the sulfate free technology. Did I mention it smells phenomenal? And the scent lasts all day. It's not too fruity or girly, its just well, perfect! I use mine daily and I don't think I can ever go back. I'm in love! Leaves hair feeling and looking healthy. I received this complimentary for testing purposes from Influencer, thank you for introducing me to my hair's new best friend.
I wanted a product that was Curly Girl Method approved, as I'm trying to revive my waves. This product meets that standard and after the first use, I was blown away -- it was so great, I felt like it was my new holy grail (prev being Redken Extreme and Blondage; I also bought So Silver to pair with this). Anyway, since then (about a week now), my hair has built up a greasy coating that you can actually feel on your fingers/hands when blow drying or even just touching my wet hair (and the coating is almost sparkly). It's gross. And it's visible after drying my hair, it still looks **very** greasy after washing (and my hair is usually very light, not fluffy but tosses around very easily - it's never greasy or weighed down and I wash daily). This stuff is just not good for me (I actually had to wash my hair with a de-greasing/clarifying shampoo 3 times to get the grease almost out... it's still not back to normal), but I am sure it's good for some people. If you like shea-style moisture and your hair handles it well, this is a great product. Sad it didn't work out for me. Probably is better for thicker hair or curly hair. Would still recommend it to someone with the right hair type.

I used this shampoo back in Ukraine, the shampoo is not bad, but after using it the hair became stiffer and it was difficult to comb through, the smell is tasty but very strong, it gets boring quickly!

This does not strip my color out. It keeps my hair color "vivid." It does not make my hair oily and it repairs the damage. I have been using this for 1 year. Please don't change the formula.

I love this shampoo. It suds up and cleanses my hair nicely, smells so amazing, and leaves my hair soft and smooth. Although, I still see alot of fading, I do have vivid color that tends to fade. (For reference, I have fine, thin hair dyed black and red balayage.)

If I could i woul give it -100 stars. I liked this shampoo and used it for a couple of months. I started noticing more shedding, but i thought it was just normal shed...until it progressively got worse and one day I had a huge clump of hair come out in the shower and I GASPED. I have literally lost 1/2 my volume of hair from this shampoo. I thought it was from a medication and even went to see the doctor and had bloodwork done thinking it was a physical illness making it happen. Then I came on this site and looked at the 1 star reviews for this product and found 6 or 7 people saying it made their hair fall out in clumps!! I didn't even know this could happen-especially when using a high-end brand. For the record, I have fine, color-treated hair and I wash it every 2-3 days or it gets very greasy. See pictures-hair from the drain and hair in brush/comb after shower-each one of those is after only 1 shower!! I stopped using it 4 or 5 days ago and shedding has just about stopped. After that, I did a TON of research on safe hair products and you would be shocked how many hair care products are on the market that cause hair loss. There are several class action lawsuits for multiple big brands including OGX, Tres Semme, Wen, Olaplex, and Pureology. Google "shampoo and hair loss" and you will get an eye full of scariness. So disgraceful that they put chemicals in our beauty products that can make this happen! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS AND DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

I was really disappointed because i had my hair stylist recommend this to mw but tbw shampoo doesnt feel like it cleans anything like it doesnt lather and the conditioner weighs down my hair and makes it feel greasy.

Perfect shampoo for my long and colored hairs I love the way how it cleans my hair and makes my hair feels like after wash. Soft, silky plus it smells good. I only wash my hair every 3-4 days.

I recently dyed my hair pink so I decided to try this one out, it does pull color out but not alot so I'm not mad about that. I dont hate it but would not buy again. It does lather nicely, I get good bubbles and does feel like its cleaning while its in my hair. But once I rinse it out and my hair dries, it feels heavy and greasy. I have fairly greasy hair so maybe this product isn't for me.

Almost all of my color is gone. After using once, the shampoo took out almost all of my blue,. purple, and red and this was my third wash after dying. After the shampoo, my hair felt brittle and stripped and the color was coming out just as much as my first wash after the dye. I'm just glad I didn't spend hundreds on a professional to waste this dye job. Very disappointed and now all the color that is left is dull and faded.

This product takes so much color out with each wash. I wanted green hair for the longest time and I'm finally in a job where I can have it. I bought this because it's touted as being great for high maintenance colors. I didn't bleach my hair when I got my color done and I don't wash it too often yet this shampoo is stealing my hard earned emerald green color. I've used it twice and it looks like I'm way over due for my 7 week refresh.

Why is this taking out so much of my hard earned green color with each wash?

This shampoo is okay but I've found that it makes my hair a little oily and I'm having to wash it more often which I try to avoid after coloring my hair.

smells good, but left my roots GREASY with a weird texture. might work for some but if you already have oily hair problems, i would not recommend buying.

This product really helps my color stay longer in between my hair coloring appointments. I also really love the candy sweet smell of it.

I never write reviews on ulta but this is probably the only shampoo/conditioner combo I've used where I felt like it was actually making a difference in the health of my hair. Only have 2 negative things to say. The first time I used this I almost had a panic attack in the shower, SO much hair came out the first time I used this. I'm not too sure what that was about and it's never happened since, I also never noticed a difference in the volume or any bald spots so?? I definitely thought something was wrong the first time using it but decided to try again since I indeed still had hair on my noggin. It's made a noticeable different in how my hair looks and feels. I have split dyed hair so a portion of my hair gets bleached and dyed pink and I've always had a hard time making it NOT look like straw. It's still damaged but she is HYDRATED and smooth now! I also noticed I have to wash my hair a bit more often and find my hair looking greasy quicker. I used to wash my hair once every 7-10 days and since using this it's about once every 4-5 days. But I'll take it to have better looking and feeling hair. Overall I'd recommend this product. Worth the money IMO.

This product, using both the shampoo and conditioner, made my hair look and feel gross. It was heavy and made my long hair look neglected and unwashed.

I cannot use the shampoo because it left my roots greasy. The conditioner is nice though, since it only goes on the length part of my hair.

Do not buy. Made my hair fall out in clumps and now I have a bald spot. Customer service wouldn't give me a refund.
Ashlee from Fairlawn, Ohio
I bought both the shampoo and conditioner as I recently dyed my hair purple and consider it a high maintenance color. The smell is great, it lathers well, and it contains a "pearl infusion" that's actually like a shimmer residue it leaves in your hair. I discovered this after a few washes when my fingers were shimmering after blow drying. While I wanted to LOVE that feature, as I love sparkle and shimmer, it left my hair SO GREASY after 4 washes! I couldn't tell if it was just the shimmer making my hair appear extremely shiny but with continued use my strands are clumping together like I haven't washed in DAYS. Very disappointed in this line, and I will be trading it out for the Color Obsessed line to try that. I will say I have very fine hair that I wash daily, which I have done my entire life and had no issues. Maybe this would work great for someone with dry or thick hair, just not for me.
Sheila from Michigan
Its a concentrated shampoo so a little goes a long way; I have fine shoulder length hair. I also don't need a conditioner with it.

Talk about greasy build up, talk about Washing out your fresh color job and Brazilian blow out used this a few times and my hair feels like garbage and its greasy compared to using pureology my hair is soft. Only supposed to wash your hair 3 times a week with a blow out but the next day your hair looks greasy yuck. Never again and I normally love products from the matrix total results line
