To my surprise, it was significantly lighter than the lightest shade of the HD Lifting Concealer! I ended up loving the formula, so I repurchased the camo concealer in the shade medium peach, which is a much better match. I hope these swatches are useful...for reference, I am shade 110 porcelain in Maybelline smooth and dewy foundation and Shell Ivory in the Wet 'n Wild photofocus foundation.Most Helpful Critical Reviewit covers, it blends, it lasts BUT...I was SO excited to try this concealer as it seems to be all the rage on the YT beauty channels. And YES...it covers/ conceals, it IS blendable (if you work SUPER fast as it is very fast setting), it DOES last (I have not tried the full 16 hours, but last longer than some others I have tried) BUT...it also enhances every.single. fine line. under my eyes. EVERY one, even the ones I didn't know I had until I used this product. My skin is normal and well hydrated. No other concealer I have used has placed a spotlight on my fine lines like this does. I could probably get away with it in the winter but I was shocked that it was so light, way lighter than the picture. And it was VERY VERY hard to blend. I had to wipe it off because it like stained my face in a circle where I put a dot of it. This product may work for some but its just too much. I was concerned with separation throughout long wear, but this product does very well on my super oily face. It does have a slight paint smell to it, so if you're sensitive to smells you may not be a fan. I also purchased the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift in the lightest of the 2 shades (see middle swatch in photos). It went on like a dream very smooth. I loved it. No color shift upon drying. The bottom swatch is YSL Touche Eclat High Cover in shade 1.5. I would not repurchase the Elf, but I thought the Trish McEvoy was worth the price.Yes! When I put it on it blended out fine but almost immediately dried up and flaked off. I tried it again the next day with a little extra moisturizer and had the same problem. I have tried several other concealers and although some do come close, i a always come back because of that price.
