I bought these originally because they were on sale and I figured for the low price my kid could play with some of them and I could try out the others. I like the other products I've tried from this brand so I was hopeful. Obviously even not on sale they're considerably cheaper than Beauty Blender, of which by the way I've been a loyal, loyal user. At first I was a little off put by the bounciness of these, once wet they get bigger and less firm than the BB brand. But I read the directions and it says just to dunk it in water and squeeze dry so I use less water and squeeze dry with a towel. Now, while I have a new BEauty Blender that I bought recently because it came in a set with a carrier and cleaner, I'm not sure that I'll permanently go back to BEauty Blender. The more I use these dairy Bakerie sponges the more I like them. You really can't beat the price. During quarantine I've been playing with all the foundation samples I've received I've the years and saved in a basket for Lord knows what. Having extra sponges has been nice but they also clean up with brush cleaner well and I haven't seen any breakdown of the sponge. In that respect I like them even better than Beauty Blender.
I think everyone feels the need to only speak highly of this brand because it's a creative and ethical brand. I do love the originality of this brand, but I'm not going to lie and say I love a product after spending my hard-earned money on it if I don't truly love it. This is a great deal-- 6 sponges for $18 [3 pink, 3 teal (softer, bouncier)]. However, no matter how much I wet the sponges, they still felt hard on the face. They do expand significantly but they absorb a lot of product and feel hard on the face. I recommend the Japonesque Kumadori sponge, the Real Techniques sponge, Aesthetica black sponge, or the Ecotools green one.

I love the creativity and uniqueness of this brand, however, these sponges absorb product far too much. I normally use Eco brand sponges with Estee Lauder foundation which is medium to full coverage, but these sponges give me a much lighter coverage even with using more product (which isnt cheap). The concept is adorable, but it just absorbs too much pricey product for me to actually use them.

The packaging for this product could not be cuter. However, believe all of these reviews saying these sponges absorb product. A high coverage foundation becomes a light foundation no matter how much you apply. Such a shame.

These are so much better than the beauty blender brand. You get 6 for less than the price of 1 and they last!! They don't fall apart after a few weeks and they blend really well. The sponge it self feels smoother and softer than other brands. Overall amazing quality, great price, and you're supporting a POC owned company! Also just fyi the picture is wrong and they're not all pink! You get a few pink and a few blue

Love the aesthetic of them! But I'm a pink girl and typically everything in my makeup cabinet is but these came half blue half pink just threw me off with the picture showing all pink

I've tried multiple sponges over the years but these are my favorite. (I got green ones instead of pink which I like green better than pink). The shape of the sponge works great for both concealer and foundation.

Horrible beauty sponges. Save your money and buy them off shein or wet and wild

I really wanted to like these. I'm a sucker for cute packaging! However, these are so hard & stiff. They soak up almost all your foundation and concealer. I'm so used to elf & real techniques sponges. Those are so much better. These are trash.

These are the best sponges I've ever used across all price points! They do a beautiful job wet, so I always used them wet. Then I recently left my makeup brushes at home and used one dry. Now I don't need my powder brush. I use one for each.

Initially really liked these. Didn't soak up a ton of product and had a nice shape. after going back them recently they are awful. if you are used to a soft sponge you will hate this. Not even when fully soaked do they get soft. Too hard for gentle areas especially around eyes

I've been using one of these for about 4 months, and I wash it almost every time I use it. There's no cracks, or changes in the sponge!! I was happy to have several but now I'll be giving a few away for Christmas, as they're so long lasting, I don't need to hang onto them all. The texture is the perfect mix of softness and firmness. It gives me a lovely, even application of liquid and cream products. I always soak my sponge first, and squeeze out the water, and I've had no issues with it absorbing too much product. The sponges are incredible, the price is a huge bonus too!

I had been wanting these for a while and I finally got them and they just soak up pretty much most of the product, I do not recommend

They really do soak up most of your product and kind of hard to clean. They are ok for the price though!

Better than Morphe, Beauty Blender, or any other sponge I have used! Blends makeup perfectly! Plus you get 6 of them!

I am a Mua so I use many sponges and I don't use the same sponge on two people so this is a good deal. I'm all about a bargain and this is too good to pass up. These sponges are top 3 for sure. Be sure to wet the sponge first. It doesn't soak up as much product as the real techniques sponges so I love them!!!!!

for one, these are a great deal because it works out to $3 per sponge. i lucked out and got them for 50% off during a 21 days sale so i hope they'll do these again. they're my favorite sponges! i run water and get mine wet and then squeeze all the excess water out. i don't feel like it absorbs as much product as the beauty blenders i've had or even the orange RT sponges. best ever sponges.

I used to buy the Real Techniques orange sponges until I started getting a lot of inconsistency. I'd buy a 2-pack and one would be great like usually but the other would be hard as a rock. After months of dealing with this I decided to try a bunch more sponges. Out of all the sponges I tried (Elf, Beauty Blender, Amazon sponges) this one was by far the best. It's very soft and blends beautifully. It does soak up a bit more liquid product than the Real Techniques ones did, but these are softer and bounce back way better. They are easy to clean and do not change in texture after washing them several times. I use Dawn soap to clean my makeup tools. If the container is a problem, you can buy these in singles and they come with a little silicone travel egg shell. I'll never buy anything else now (as long as they stay consistent lol)

I'll be honest, I'm not too picky on sponges. I do have a preference for denser, less porous ones. Although I do like the original BB, I toss these after a month max (like you're supposed to) so it's not worth it for me to spend all that money. These are a bit denser, but once I soak one of them in water & squeeze out the excess, it works well. No streaks. I mostly wear tinted moisturizers, and lighter coverage (liquidy) foundation and these give me a natural even coverage. I take great care to keep my skin clean and clear, so I wash my sponge after each use. And these don't fall apart. Like other dense sponges, this is harder to clean. So instead of my regular sponge cleaner, I use an unwanted face wash and it works. Just a small dab too. We all have those face washes we don't like sitting around, i use those to clean my sponges. I usually wait around until the RT or Ecotools sponges go on sale, but these are a great value too. I'd buy these again.

I have never written a review before but these were so bad I had to. They soak up half of your foundation even when they are wet. They do not blend well as all. Save the $$ and just go get the purple ELF sponge. Wish I could return!
Kiy from Nevada
I actually really love these they blend my makeup awesome and are easy to clean.
Lola from Florida
I love these but when you clean them they get harder if you use too much soap. Also it is very hard to clean. The cardboard box it comes it disintegrates if you put them in wet or damp. But they are rly nice and do the job
Nikkita from Tx
The sponges in mine were blue& pink & let me start off by saying the price is less than one sponge of beauty blender brand & you get 6 here!!! & the quality is pretty much the same and just as good! They do work better if ran under water just like any other! After this discovery I am never switching back!

Cute packaging . They are okay . Felt like it absorbed all my foundation .
Em from Columbus, OH
Price and packaging is wonderful; not the worst sponge I've ever used but significantly harder, less malleable, and more absorbent of product than brands like Beauty Blender or Real Techniques. I'm kind of baffled by all the positive reviews calling it soft.
