I like to look up different fragrances & read about them, so when I go to the store I can see if they smell how I imagined. Many people were raving about this fragrance, even saying it was a dupe for MFK's Baccarat Rouge 540, which is a $300 bottle of perfume. I thought that was an impressive reputation, so I went to Ulta to try it out.
My final thoughts: I like it! Keep in mind when you read reviews that everyone's skin chemistry is different, so this fragrance could be fantastic on some & a disaster on others. My advice, do what I did & try it for yourself(ON YOUR SKIN) at the store. At first when I tried it on, I did NOT like it. It was strange, & seemed as though it wasn't going to sit well on me. I let it dry down, and THEN I understood the craze. This scent is so different and exciting. It's sweet, but also kind of fresh/woodsy? I'd also say this fragrance is almost unisex. There's a masculine quality to it, which I think is due to the cashmere base note. It's a more sophisticated fragrance than others in her collection so I see it on someone 18+. It is a strong scent, so I can see how someone who doesn't like the smell can find it nauseating. Even hours after I've put it on, I can still smell it intensely, & I only did one spray. Overall, I like it much better now hours later than when I initially sprayed it. It dries down to that rich, sweet scent you're expecting. The coconut(which I normally hate) is surprisingly well done, not overpowering/obnoxious at all. Whipped cream, vanilla, and cashmere are the dominant notes on me. Overall, I give this fragrance a 7 out of 10. I really like it, but I don't love it. It's definitely unique but also not for everybody. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's a "Sugary woodsy" smell. Has an understated seductiveness to it. Give it a shot! It's interesting at the very least.
I've been a fan of Ariana's since 2010 and I have genuinely loved every single one of her fragrances released so far. (Ari and SLC are my favorites). When she told us that Cloud was going to have hints of vanilla and coconut, and that it's definitely her favorite fragrance so far, I was SO excited. I couldn't wait to have a new daily perfume. I came straight to Ulta to pick it up and the bottle's design looks a little like something she'd release in 2013, but I knew I'd just have to get past that. Then I sprayed it - It had an OVERWHELMINGLY musky, manly scent. It smells IDENTICAL to when you walk into a store like Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch and you get a punch of just... a woody/manly smell that's so overpowering you can't even continue shopping. Yet, I still, impulsively purchased the fragrance just because I wanted to love it so much. I'm so sad to say that Cloud is actually my least favorite fragrance of Ariana's when I expected so much more and it to be my most favorite. It doesn't smell anything like coconut, or even vanilla. I returned Cloud shortly after purchasing it, knowing I just really disliked the scent. ☹️♡

The best perfume I get a million compliments when I wear it

I don't know why they changed my 5 star review to 3. It's FIVE STARS & if you want to read my review, it's labeled as "PICKLES & PLASTIC".
Long story short, I reach for this the most out of all my perfumes, including high end. It smells more expensive than it is & is guaranteed to have strangers complimenting you. Wear with caution. If you're not trying to get pregnant, pregnart or PREGANANANT, don't wear this around your man ;)

Out of all my perfumes, I reach for this one the most. I definitely don't get any notes of plastic or pickles though lol. However, I do think this smells like a $250 luxury fragrance. It's gourmand with notes of boozy vanilla cake, marshmallows & a hint of woodiness. In my opinion, this is a very well balanced with feminine and a hint of a masculine scent. One of the base notes is Sensual musk, which I'm assuming to be a skin musk, which I ADORE. That's the ingredient that makes this perfume transform & smell different on everyone! I feel bad for anyone who doesn't like this perfume, because this is amazing & affordable. Lasting power is about 6 ish hours on my skin & an eternity on my clothes. Can't complain. Also…if you wanna get folded like a pretzel. Wear this & thank me later.

I love this perfume, it lasts so long on me personally. It's not my favorite scent ever but it is beautiful and I think most people will enjoy it if you like warm scents on the sweeter side. The lasting power is incredible which is what is most important to me.

I get a lot of compliments on this perfume. However, my mom is really sensitive to perfume and she always coughs when she's in the car with me. It lasts me the whole day so over 10+ hours for me. It's a gourmand scent.

this perfume smells beautiful, but it can be a bit strong, and i have yet to figure out how to spray little enough that it doesn't give me a headache.

I don't care what anyone says, this perfume is amazing!! Yes it's fruity and floral but so what? People label it a perfume for teens yet they probably still use bath and body works sprays (nothing wrong with that I'm just noting their hypocrisy). It's a great topper on top of other scents. I mix it with Giorgio Armani Sí and I get a ton of compliments each time. If you have a perfume that smells too strong, add this one. It also stands great on its own though and lasts the entire day. It has the same vibe of Burberry Her.

Really disappointed in this one. When I read the scents in this perfume I couldn't wait to try it. Now that I've tried it, I wish I would have picked something else. It smells like Claire's in the early 2000s with a hint of celery.
Cathy from Clearwater Florida
I love love this scent. It's very smooth not too strong. I would definitely recommend.
Cuppycakes from Louisville, Ky.
Way too strong, even with one spray.

I am a high schooler, and this is my favorite scent! As much as I love sweet scents, this is the perfect as my palette matures. It's not overwhelmingly sweet, which is perfect! Worth every penny.
Annie from Romeoville, IL
I'm usually a cheap body spray person instead of actual perfume, but I decided to try this one after smelling a sample. I have never gotten so many compliments on how good I smell! My coworkers tell me at least once a day (even at the end of the day) that I smell good. It's more expensive than what I was used to, but it lasts me throughout the day.
Brookeee from Paducah
I'm not sure what everyone is raving about on this one. I love Ariana's scents for the most part but this particular one isn't it. It is almost identical to Burberry Her. Leans a bit masculine to me. I think I'm just not into these types of scents. Then again I'm sure it smells different on everyone.
Isabella from Northridge
I get so many complements, and lots of people confuse this with Baccarat Rouge is even better.
Jo from Dallas, Texas
I receive compliments all the time. It's a vanilla girl smell. I will say it compliments even more depending on pheromones. I feel it smells best on my skin vs clothes. It is sweet but it's not overboard. It's definitely my holy grail and I use it everyday.
Eve from Ontario, CA
I had heard this was a dupe for a high-end brand. I bought it and I love it! It is my go-to now over expensive high-end perfumes I own. I get compliments every time I wear it. Not sure if I have gotten used to it now, but overtime I feel like the scent is not as long-lasting as it was initially. Again it may be that I'm used to it and I don't personally smell it on me. It's soft and can be worn day or night IMO.
Gina from Long Beach California
I will absolutely keep buying this .

this is my favorite ari fragrance besides mod vanilla, worth the hype!!
Ivy from Green Bay
I'm 43 years old and love the scent but I tossed the plastic cloud "stand" I feel it's unnecessary and wasteful packaging.
Tiffany from Washington DC
At first spritz, it smells like a cheap alcohol-filled body spray. After it sets in, it smells like a cross of warm marshmallow-vanilla scents. So, it's sweet. However, the smell is so inviting and addicting. I couldn't stop smelling my wrists! After I changed clothes, went to the gym, and came back home, I got a sniff of it all over again from my old clothes and realized just how happy it makes me :-)
Courtney from Chicago
Pairs excellently with Baccarat Rouge 540
