At Ulta Beauty, we realize the importance of giving back, which is why we are proud to enhance the education and well-being of women and girls throughout our communities through the Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation, our long-standing partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®, and our support of local nonprofit organizations.

Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation

The Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation (UBCF) seeks to increase the number of women and families Ulta Beauty can empower and strengthen through financial support. We know that to create a strong and economically independent family, a woman must have the education, tools and professional attire to obtain and maintain secure employment. That is why we are proud of our partnership with Dress for Success® in support of the economic empowerment of women across the United States. Our current commitment to Dress for Success includes financial support and a commitment to engage our associates in advancing the mission of the organization in 27 local communities.

We also know that in order to ensure a bright future for all children, women and their families need access to early learning opportunities and protection from harm. For 100 years, Save the Children® has done whatever it takes – every day and in times of crisis – to transform children’s lives and the future we share. To help support our partner’s critical early childhood programming and disaster relief efforts in the United States, we will donate 100 percent of guest contributions between April 28 and May 12 to Save the Children.

In addition to giving time, our associates have the option to enroll in a payroll deduction program to support organizations like Dress for Success and fellow associates facing financial hardship. UBCF’s Associate Relief Program then provides financial grants to help those affected associates rebuild and recover.

Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Ulta Beauty celebrates a longstanding partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and it will remain UBCF's signature partner. Since 2009, we have raised more than $27.5 million to advance the world’s most promising research toward the prevention and cure for breast cancer. In 2018, we delivered A Gorgeous Way to Give campaign, contributing $5.5 million through the sales of our Ulta Beauty BCRF collection, our Cut-for-a-Cause event in our salons, the generosity of our partners through the annual charity Golf Outing and Day of Beauty, personal donations and more.

Ulta Beauty is amongst BCRF’s top four corporate partners, currently funding 19 breast cancer researchers dedicated to eradicating breast cancer in our lifetime – many of whom have been recognized with national awards in honor of their groundbreaking efforts. Community involvement

Ulta Beauty is proud to provide financial support, products and valuable time to support our existing partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, especially in relation to mentoring, early childhood and school readiness, and family and child care.

We offer opportunities for youth to reach their academic, personal and future-professional lives, including an internship program at the corporate office for at-risk high school teens that allows them to gain real-world experience and instill a sense of economic empowerment. We invest in families as we pack bags of our products to help families in crisis and contribute to food drives to ensure access to basic necessities.

In addition to national partnerships, our associates often volunteer their personal time and talents outside of Ulta Beauty in ways that are meaningful to them. They boost confidence through beautifully crafted hair and make-up looks for women and men looking to find employment or undergoing treatment for breast cancer. They make a difference by organizing and participating in 5K fundraising races, cleaning or painting a nonprofit facility and organizing drives to collect gifts for the holidays. Our associates truly embody our mission, vision and values in all that they do.
