Most Helpful Positive Review Great Time Saver and Hair Looks Great I am happy I chose this dryer! I had a different brand but high end dryer from a major beauty supply shop that lasted me 7 years. I was overwhelmed when that one broke and I needed to find a replacement. There are so many on the market now! Since I know the difference in quality of hair appliances DOES make the hair healthier and save time, I decided to go a step higher in the hairdryer options this time. I initially bought a T3. Not a bad dryer but I didn't see the $200 difference. I read that brand's reviews to find it had durability and warranty issues so I returned it. On to the next option...
The 'salon' I go to is a high end beauty school. They not only sell Babyliss appliances but all the students are taught with their entry level model dryer. I saw this one on special with much better reviews so I gave it a try. I picked this one over their other model with a Ferrari motor, no joke! A new Ulta store has a tester section for hair appliances in their store and compared to even more expensive dryers, it seems the most powerful and easy to use of Ulta's dryer choices.
All I can say is I am pleased! Money well spent and my hair looks great in top drytime speed, even a couple days after initially styling. And I can forgo the 'secondary' appliance styling--that is the real test! I hope this one lives up to its durability because it is a great dryer worth every single penny.
One note is that the diffusers could fit a bit more snug. Not an issue to affect the quality but I am rough on my equipment and like to store mine in the drawer ready for use and it might come off or loosen more than I'd like.
Most Helpful Critical Review Wasn't working out for me I have very naturally curly hair and like to wear my hair curly. I own a Babyliss Pro Porcelain Ceramic dryer about 5 years old that I love. I wanted to try an upgrade, so I got this, along with the diffuser they recommend. The hair dryer itself is nice. It is VERY powerful, in fact, it was too much for my curls even with a diffuser and on a lower heat/blow setting. It left lots of small knots/tangles even on the lowest setting. I tried to use the dryer 4 times with different hair products and it still turned out the same- super puffy at the root and lots of frizzy/tangled curls. The diffuser prongs are also very short and the cup of the diffuser is small (and I have a lot of hair) so I went back to my old universal Conair diffuser on my Babyliss Pro. I took both of them back for a full refund. I love Babyliss products, but unless you are blowing your thick hair out straight I cannot recommend this for everyday, curly-girl styling.

What a difference a hairdryer makes. I explained to my stylist that I had awful frizz every day, no matter the weather. She recommended this dryer, as she has the same one. Not only, does it eliminate frizz, but it cut my drying time to a third of what it was. I'm so pleased with this dryer.
Hair drier 4

I just bought this and have used it for a week now. I feel as though it dries my hair out a bit, making it more coarse. It does dry the hair quickly though!

Delivers nice results, good quality and price! 4

I was looking for a decent dryer that wouldn't break the bank and deliver salon-quality results with a good nozzle that stayed in place, and this one did not disappoint. I tried two other cheaper dryers to see if I could get away with spending a little less, but unsurprisingly, you get what you pay for when it comes to hair products. They left my hair feeling frizzy and coarse, and felt cheaply made, so I finally switched to this one after some research and seeing my hairstylist use BaByliss dryers in the past.
From the first time I used it, I noticed a big difference in how my hair felt- smooth, silky, soft, and shiny! I have fine, super long hair and a lot of it- so having a good dryer that works quickly while giving good results is important to me. This one has my hair dry in about 10 mins. The nozzle attachments work great and stay put. I like that there is a switch for hot, warm, and cool, so I don't have to hold down the cool button like on most dryers if I don't want to (there is still a cool button as well though!) I've had this for a couple of weeks now and so far, so good. Worth the extra money for the quality.
The only thing maybe some people will find, is that this dryer is. a little heavier and a bit louder than some others I have tried, although overall I don't find it that bothersome personally. Overall, this is a well-made hair dryer for the price and I am enjoying it so far!
Not for fine hair 2

I had researched for a while and landed on this one due to its decent reviews and reasonable price. I'm returning now after owning it for 40 days. It fried my hair, especially my front pieces. They are shorter than ever before. Not for fine hair.

Salon hair blow dryer 5
Laurdalaur from Eatonville, Washington
I use this to dry and clam down my course, frizzy hair to get a Salon look when done. Love the flat nozzles as they get right into the difficult areas that need dried and calmed down. Awesome having 3 varied heat and air controls and love, love the cool air selection as well. They do have a burst of cool button to push as well to get your hair even cooler to close up the hair shafts ends. Bad thing is it's a bit heavy so good thing I don't use this in a Salon cause your arms could get tired and sore after using for some time.
A gift for my daughter 5

This dryer was a gift for my daughter who has issues with frizzy hair at times. She said it helped with the frizzies, dried her hair quickly without using high heat, and she loves it!!

What was in the box was not on the front of the box. I will be returning this item as soon as possible this weekend. The product in the box did not match what was on the outside of the box.
I bought 2 both were defective 1
Danielle from Bel air
I was in love with this hair dryer and had my eyes on it for so long. I finally bought it a week ago only to have the heat setting not work at all. The cold setting worked great but I wanted what I paid for not just one setting. I brought it back to do an exchange thinking it was just a fluke only to be told by one of the cashiers that she's heard of them being defective multiple times. Despite her warning I went for an exchange of the exact same dryer. Same problem, cold air was perfect but no heat. I have up and just returned it I wasn't going to keep making trips to find one that worked. Now I have to look for another dryer.
BabylissPRO Awesome!! 5

I've been looking for a reasonably priced thin air tip dryer for a long time. While this wasnt cheap I'm very very pleased with its performance and styling ability.
Lightweight, yet powerful. 4

Purchased prior products from this company. They lasted a long time and did a good job. This one is lighter than my last and more powerful. Works quickly, easy to use and lightweight (which is key).
The best hair dryer ever 5
Simona from Garfield, NJ
Amazing hair dryer , the best i've ever had. Perfect for blow dry , leaves my hair very soft and straight with very little effort. I have a ceramic brush and together with my new dryer , my hair never looked better! I have thick long hair and it took me at least 40 min to dry my hair before with different dryers. Now it takes 15 min and on top of that i dont have any frizz my hair is sleek and straight . I would definitely recommend this dryer. Hope it lasts

Very good blow dryer but it randomly won't turn on 3
LBak4 from PA
I bought this blow dryer almost year ago and when it runs, I really like it.
However, I have been having an issue with it randomly not working. About 2 months ago I plugged the blow dryer in and it wouldn't turn on. I pressed the reset button as well as plugged the dryer into different outlets but nothing worked. A few days later I tried turning on the dryer and it worked just fine.
Unfortunately, two days ago it happened again. I tried to use it and it wouldn't turn on. At this point it still isn't working. I don't know if it's the plug or something in the motor but I'm going to have to replace the dryer because I'm worried it could become a hazard. Quite a shame.
Good blow dryer but not reliable.
Time saver and miracle worker 4
letterwoman from Des Moines, IA
I would give this hair dryer 5 stars except for the lousy handle. The buttons are in a terrible spot that it makes the handle very uncomfortable to hold in either hand. It's also hard to get a good drip on the handle without pressing the buttons and changing the settings. Babyliss, you need to move the buttons higher or lower on the handle so it's easier to hold! Aside from that, this dryer is wonderful. It takes less time to dry my hair and it looks so much better than when I've used any other dryer (including the more expensive T3 dryer which I think is terrible). The motor is stronger than other dryers and it blows out so much air. Where have you been all my life? I am Asian and have coarse, thick hair. My hair feels much smoother after using this dryer. I never thought a hair dryer could change my life, but this has!

I wouldn't buy this again 3
Red from California
I bought this blow dryer less than a year ago and the plug on it has already broken. A lot of money to spend on something that breaks in less than a year. I previously had this model which lasted me over 3 years, which is why I bought it again. Looking for a different model now.
