Most Helpful Positive Review Worth the Price I recently decided to splurge and buy a more expensive nail polish. After trying to decide between another top selling brand and China Glaze and after reading many reviews here on Ulta, I decided to get China Glaze Ruby Pumps. The formula is totally chip resistant, the polish goes on smooth and for this particular color I needed only two coats to achieve the opaque shimmery color that is seen in the bottle. It very long lasting which is perfect for a mom on the go who doesn't have the time to do her nails often and doesn't want them to chip quickly. The wand is short for better control and the brush isn't too thick and isn't too thin. The cap is easy to grip and the bottle doesn't tip over easily. The only downside to this product is the smell, it is very strong so make sure you open it in a well ventilated room, other than that this product is perfect for almost everyone.
Most Helpful Critical Review Will not buy again!! First of all I have to say I do love the colors China Glaze has to offer. I have flip flop fantasy and it's such a fun summer color. There are too many negatives with this nail polish though. It takes way too many coats, chips very easily and has a weird texture when it dries. You will definitely need a top coat with this polish. Overall the price is way too high for the quality and I would much rather buy OPI or Essie.

I really like the Cuba dive color. It's bright and shiny. But I always add a shiny top coat to all of my polish anyway. Yes it chip's some. But unless I wear a gel that has to cured under a UV light, I find most polishes chip some.

I love this brand based on price.

it has absolutley no pigment. just like white out even tho it's pictured as a pretty mint green.
I will not be buying this brand again! 1

I ordered the color "You Dive Me Coconuts," which is SUPPOSED to be a fuschia/pink color. When I received the polish, it was nothing like the picture; it was an ugly pepto bismol color of pink!
Stains your nails 1
Yani from New Jersey
I tried this out for the Turquoise color but it looked more green than anything. The polish chipped easily even though I let it dry for a while. When I tried to take it off, it was sooo hard to remove even with acetone. My nails were stained for a few days even after trying to wash it off multiple times.
Fun Color! 4

I purchased the Left My Heart in Havana shade and it is a fun color! I've gotten lots of compliments on it. It went on smoothly. The color was rather flat for my taste so I always use a top coat for extra shine as well as protection. The reason I gave it 4 stars is it seems to chip way too quickly and too much. I have had that experience with every China Glaze polish I've tried, and I always use a base & top coat.
Pretty Darn Good but... 4

I love using it but, it takes 2 - 3 coats until it's not transparent.I would still buy it again and again and share with my gfs!
Not a win for me 3

I generally love this brand, but I got "Turned Up Turquoise" and it was... not great. The color is gorgeous and true to shade. However, nowhere does it mention that it's a satin/matte finish, so imagine my surprise when I first used it. My first hint should have been how thick it was; it required some manipulating to get a goof solid base. With a glossy top coat, it looks stunning and I'll hit bottle, but wouldn't repurchase.
Very pretty 5

Has shimmer in it. I thought it would be too dark. It's quite pretty. Love China Glaze.

I got the "Live in the Mo-Mint" color and it looks nothing like the photo. the photo in real life is a super pale blue-green.
Chips easily! 1
Christi from Smiths Station, Alabama
I bought this China Glaze mail polish on the discount rack and now I know why. This nail polish chips easily and did not last long at all. I let it completely dry and tried to be ever so careful with it. After an hour the polish started chipping away.

I usually love China Glaze for their bright, punchy colors. I took a chance today and ordered a neon pink online, aaand... I've gotta say, their product photos and descriptions - at least in this case, are significantly off.
Could not make it work. 1

This is for the color Celtic Sun and it is the worst nail polish I have ever used. On its own, it's a bile yellow color. You have to use a white base and even then the coverage is so bad its impossible to make it look neat and tidy. I hate it.
Horrible 1
Mar from Tulsa ok
My friend and I both used it and by the end of the day it was chipping. Used a basecoat and white base ( you have too if you want the color to pop) This brand has gone downhill.
Love! 5

I got the shade Lemon Fizz as it was being clearanced out. I've been wanting a light crème yellow for quite a while and I absolutely love this shade! Applies smoothly, thin but not too thin opaque formula, you could probably get away with 2 coats but I usually do 3. I've been lazy and haven't put a top coat on my toes yet for like 4 days and no chips so far! Definitely want to get more colors now!
Great buy 5

Been using opi black nail polish for a while but decided to give this brand a try. Boy! So good. Glides on smoothly and dries quickly
Easy application, vibrant, but comes off fast 3
jordy from oklahoma
I loved how easy this was to apply and had high hopes for it. The color was really pretty and vibrant too, it was called in the Limelight or something. My nails didn't even last 5 days, maybe 3. The polish just started coming off in large chunks. I also had used a base coat and top coat
Worse polish I've ever used 1
Becko from AZ
I have been polishing my nails for decades and believe this is the worst bottle I've ever attempted to use. I got a shade called Maholo or something, a glittery blue. First, the brush is jacked up. You can't get it to lay flat against your nails, so it makes a mess. Secondly, this polish, which looked beautiful in the bottle, was patchy and dull, even after 2 coats. It looked like I'd buffed over it with an emery board after painting. I had to cover it with 2 coats of another polish to end up with presentable nails. DON'T waste your money!
Thistle Do Nicely is Orange, not pink!! 1
Kelsey from Los Angeles
I ordered Thistle Do Nicely for in store pick up and as soon as I opened the bag I knew it was not the right color. It was orange!! I even checked the bottom to make sure it was called "Thistle Do Nicely" - and it was. For laughs I tried it on my thumb and it's absolutely disgusting, neon orange. Ugh how frustrating. It also was matte and not shiny.
Don't bother 3
Polished girl from Nokomis, Fl
I purchased this based on reviews but it is poor quality. It comes off too easily and doesn't last long at all. I used it one day and by evening it was Chipping off. I redid it the next day and had to do it three times over. I removed it and did two coats with a clear finished coat. I am disappointed. It smells strong too
I would not buy this product again. 1

Terrible coverage because of the runny consistency. Dripped with every stroke. Will be returning.
Color does mot match description 1
Cathy from Cleveland
Ordered the You Drive me Coconuts. It is described as fuchsia pink with a hint of purple. What I got was a dull matte coral.
