Most Helpful Positive Review Worth the Price I recently decided to splurge and buy a more expensive nail polish. After trying to decide between another top selling brand and China Glaze and after reading many reviews here on Ulta, I decided to get China Glaze Ruby Pumps. The formula is totally chip resistant, the polish goes on smooth and for this particular color I needed only two coats to achieve the opaque shimmery color that is seen in the bottle. It very long lasting which is perfect for a mom on the go who doesn't have the time to do her nails often and doesn't want them to chip quickly. The wand is short for better control and the brush isn't too thick and isn't too thin. The cap is easy to grip and the bottle doesn't tip over easily. The only downside to this product is the smell, it is very strong so make sure you open it in a well ventilated room, other than that this product is perfect for almost everyone.
Most Helpful Critical Review Will not buy again!! First of all I have to say I do love the colors China Glaze has to offer. I have flip flop fantasy and it's such a fun summer color. There are too many negatives with this nail polish though. It takes way too many coats, chips very easily and has a weird texture when it dries. You will definitely need a top coat with this polish. Overall the price is way too high for the quality and I would much rather buy OPI or Essie.

awful 3
Jill from Minnesota
I was so excited to get this polish but when I put it on my nails it dried down to a matte finish. It looked absolutely awful. Tried a different color over the top because I like shiny nails. It didn't last more than a day, chipped & the polish spelled horrible. Will return if able too, otherwise throwing it out.
Great color for the holidays!! It's one of my favorites!! 5

Great color for Christmas!
5th Ave color 5
Casey from Raleigh
I purchased the Fifth Avenue color which is a mauve-y and rose pink color. I love it so much!!! It seems to be a very "in-style" color at the moment, and is also a classic that can be used for many occasions. I've been a fan of China Glaze for a while now, and am happy that they came out with this color.
Cheap- not worth price 1
Lisa B from Phoenix, AZ 🌵
Low quality polish, strong odor, reminds me of cheap 99 cent polish I used to wear as a teen. I've tried several different colors and finishes because let's face it, they do have gorgeous colors. Sadly, all end in the same result- chipped within 12 hours, despite using a base and top coat and using a great nail dryer that works with all my other polishes. Kicking this brand to the curb forever.
not the color pictured 1

this is nothing like the photo …. i ordered this for pick up and it is literally blue. no holographic colors at all. definitely false advertisement and i'm very disappointed.
not great 3
Addie from ME
This is the only brand I have that will chip same day! Also, when it dries the color is dull if you don't add a clear top coat to make it shine more
I should have read the reviews about hex boyfriend 3
CR from WI
I wish I read the reviews first. The color HEX BOYFRIEND is horrible. It dries down matte and chips so easily. It is goopy and weird, why does the color on the bottle look like a nice shimmery green? It does dry quick at least though. However, I can't give a low rating because I also have the color liquid leather, classic black, and that one is a 5 star nail polish.
Yuck...not impressed 1
Glammon from Kansas
It goes on sticky, stringy and really thick. After it dries it is thick, heavy, and dull. I don't even want to paint my nails with it again, let alone purchase it again.
Despite issues, it's worth it 4

I bought Ma-Holo at Me, and the color is gorgeous. The only issue was that the polish dried pretty quickly and the wet polish kind of 'drags' the dry stuff around. I think with a little practice it should get easier.
Worst polish I've bought in a long time 1
Amie from Michigan
As someone who owns a lot of polish, I was excited to find the color HEX BOYFRIEND, at least what it appeared to be in the bottle. It looked like a beautiful shimmery black green. I was so disappointed in the way it applied. Thick and goopy and got all over my nail beds. The brush has a square tip making it hard to manuver the thick polish with precision. Then it dried matte- which was not on the bottle! Now you loose all the shimmer. I added a top coat to bring back the shine but it's not smooth and just looks messy. I'll be taking it off after work tomorrow. Disappointing as the color would have been a favorite I'm sure.
Takes forever to dry 1
Marie from Long Island
This polish takes forever to dry and still smudges an hour later.
Didn't realize this color was a matte finish 4
Kat from Iowa
I bought Hex Boyfriend in store because in the bottle it is the most gorgeous green black with a lovely shimmer. Nowhere on the bottle did it say that it was matte. Very disappointing because while it's wet it's stunning. I did put a nice coat of a high shine fast dry top coat and it did make it shiny again but doesn't look as lovely as the polish was while wet. Why put the shimmer in a matte polish? It's still nice and I'll continue to wear it but I wish the bottle had been more clear that this was a matte drying color.
Hex Boyfriend is AWFUL 3
Donna from NJ
lts Matte and is not good at all. It goes on gloopy, and I could not get a decent swipe without lumps. It flakes off when dry with just the slightest touch. Awful avoid this shade at all costs.
"Celtic Sun" not opaque in 6 coats 2
liller from Milwaukee, WI
When used on its own, the Celtic Sun shade is insanely thin. Not what you would expect from a brand that claims to be "salon quality" and charges "salon quality" prices. I ended up quitting at 6 coats, still not opaque.
Not that cute 2
Mandy from Herndon, VA
You have to pile up several coats and the color is not highly pigmented
Waited My Entire Life for This Color! 5
Sis from Pennsylvania
I've looked high and low for this exact color! It's a perfect light, neon summer coral color. My mani and pedi were beach ready after this purchase. Held up after 2 weeks on my toes of being in the sun, sand, and water. Seriously the cutest color ever!

its matte and soooooooo cool! such a chill, summer color !!!!
Chips less than 24 hrs later 1
Ondrpa07 from Boston, MA
I never bought this brand before but love the color. When I applied it it's very think sheer basically and required 3 coats. Less than 24 hrs on my toes and they all chipped. What a disappointment and waste of time.
Best polish 5
JessieOH from NJ
Love China glaze. Formula is consistent, easy to use, doesn't chip.
Not as pictured 1
Niceyrae from WI
You drive me coconuts is not anything like the picture! It is a neon,orange-pink. I didn't even try it as I don't like it. I will exchange it in store for a new color. That defeats having it delivered to my home!
LOOKS LIKE I COLORED MY FINGER WITH HIGHLIGHTER 3
nykki from reno
I was really looking forward to this color. It dries fast but dries down to a weird matte. it looks exactly like when I used to color my fingernails with yellow highlighter in middle school. hugely disappointed, don't waste your money. Will be returning.
Not anything like what you see on the screen. 3
Lorita from Texas
Completely different color than what is on the screen. Not really a pink, more of an orangy corally neonish color. Can't comment on the finished product as I haven't finished putting it on. I like the color, but it's not what I thought I was getting... really wanted the bright pink :(
Child nail polish 1
Maria from Pensacola, FL
I wanted neon polish for a summer themed parade I was in. I picked out Celtic Sun & You Dive Me Coconuts/ it's so bad, everything about it. You need like 10 coats. It dries into this weird matte and not in a good way. I really regret my purchase and will never get China glaze again.
Color doesn't match what is advertised!!!!! 1
Rachel from Woodbridge, VA
Ordered Thistle Do Nicely, a bright punchy neon pink color, by China Glaze. However, it isn't really pink at all. They advertise it to look like a neon hot pink. But it's orange. A pretty shade of orange. But a complete false advertisement.
