I am very fair-skinned in the winter, but can get very tan if I try. I've found this product works for both sides of me. Just a light sweep does the trip to make me look sunkissed and "alive" in the winter and never looks fake. In the summer, it's the perfect compliment to my tan. Recently, however, I LOVE using it as an eyeshadow. Whether alone, with eyeliner, or with another color shadow over--this bronzer sets my lids to the perfect natural bronzed shade, or works well to prep and put something else over. LOVE!
Most Helpful Critical Review Used to love it, now it's eh I used to LOVE this bronzer. There was no changing my mind on it. It was the perfect formula and perfect shade. After about 8 months, I started to notice it was too orange for my liking. On my light, olive/yellow asian skin tone, it just pulled too warm and yellow undertoned on me. I look back at old pictures and notice it as well. Now it's been over 2 years and I don't love it anymore and I'd never repurchase it again. It's a really nice formula but the shade just does not work on me

If you have super pale skin, this will be too dark for you. Me: the palest of pale skin (I use bare Minerals fair 01 or fairly light 03). I am also able to use the sh*petape in the palest shade (porcelain beige 8B). Try the Hoola Light.

Idk why I took me this longgggg to get this bronzer. I got it on sale and can't stop using it. This has been my holy grail bronzer it's the perfect shade for my medium skin. I have not broken out using this product and it lasts all day!!!!

Finally a bronzer that doesn't turn my fair pale skin orange!!! Gives the perfect amount of glow for contour and I love it. Easily buildable. My only complaint is I didn't expect it to be so tiny, but a little goes a LONG way so it will last a while I'm sure

As a bronzer lover, this is just perfect! I have fair/light skin and the original medium shade is perfect for me because I love going ham w bronzer. I have been using the same one for over a year and a half and I have still yet to finish it (I have major pan but still at least two months worth of use). Definitely recommend if you are picky w bronzer

This is the only bronzer I've been able to use that isn't to mud looking on my very pale skin. It's so hard to find a good cool toned bronzer that doesn't look too ashy but this one is perfect. I only wish it was so expensive.

I got the original and loved the way it looked when I wanted a contour - even during mask season. It looked SO good and blended out nicely, but it always breaks me out! I've even tried applying it with brand new brushes to ensure it wasn't dirty and it still broke me out!

I put off buying this because of the price and always bought dupes. Let me tell you, nothing truly compares. Suck it up and buy it already. It will change your face and make bronzing/contouring so much easier.

As a black woman, finding a bronzer is a task and a half. Granted the darkest shade is a bit too dark for a true bronze it's great for a soft contour. But the finish, man, just is absolutely beautiful and can make any foundation im wearing look better. I went searching for a setting powder to put all over my face from them because this formula is so good. The only downside for me is the price, but I can't argue with the results, plus at this point I'm learning I need to invest more when it comes to complexion products.

A great quality product! It's great for fair or light complexons, as the Original Hoola Matte Bronzer is too dark for fair or light complexons. A great quality brush is included, & when the bronzer is used up, you can keep and reuse the brush. There's plenty of product in the pan. My only complaint is that this is pricey unless it's on sale. I recommend, for the reason stated, that you purchase this on sale, especially if you don't plan on using this every day. I recommend this.

I got it in the caramel shade and it is more on the orange side but when I apply my self tanner and darker foundation, it meshes really well. However the brush it comes with provides a splotchy blend so definitely use a fluffier brush. I give it 4 stars because even with a nice brush it can be a little tough to blend (VERY pigmented!) I always have to clean it up underneath with some loose banana powder. Overall, the end result is beautifully bronzed cheeks!
