Kenra Professionial Platinum Thickening Mousse plumps each strand of hair by up to 150% and adds fullness and body to achieve the appearance of thicker hair. This ultra-lightweight formulation resists humidity for up to 48 hours and provides a flexible, touchable hold for up to 24 hours.

How to Use

Shake well. Dispense desired amount into palm of hand. Apply evenly throughout towel-dried hair focusing on roots for maximum plumping effect. Style as desired.

Precautions: Contents under pressure. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat. Do not puncture or incinerate container or store at temperatures over 120 F. Use only as directed. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents can be harmful or fatal. Keep out of reach of children. First aid treatment: if adverse reaction occurs on skin or scalp, discontinue use and consult a physician. In case of accidental contact with eyes - rinse for 15 minutes. Consult a physician if problem persists.

Then comb through and dry. If you apply too much product into areas your hair will feel sticky and hard to comb. I have thick hair and this helps lift my roots because my long hair tends the flatten on top due to the heavy weight of my ends. Gives you a thick look all over. I use every two days when I wash my hair.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot for my really fine, thin hairUnfortunately this was too heavy for my very thin hair. My hair is fine (very small diameter), thin (very little of it, can see scalp through areas when in the sunlight), straight, and older (50 years ). I highlight it, and curl it with a curling iron on low heat. I found this weighed my hair down, did not really make it thicker, but I gave it at least 2 stars because it does seem to give lift at the scalp, for those that desire that, with the use of a blow dryer and round brush. However, I don't like lift because it just ends up showing too much scalp through the lifted hair. Sigh :-( Now...Kenra's blow dry MIST (not just spray, but the mist) is spectacular for protecting fragile hair from curling iron! So maybe try that if you have hair like mine. I've used this a few times to scrunch in shower (following curly styling methods), and does make my hair appear thicker! Kenra kindly answered my question regarding needing heat activation or not (they said doesn't need heat activation), so I can choose to air dry or diffuse with low/cool air and have heat protection built in. If I decide to use my gentle jumbo hot rollers on day 3 hair, I feel better knowing the heat protection is still in my hair. I've run the ingredients through couple of curly approved ingredient checkers, and can't find anything wrong with the ingredients (no silicones, waxes, alcohol)! I'm so happy to find a high performing product. Hair is shiny and not sticky or crunchy.
