My hair is thin now and it always went flat against my head no matter how I tried to fluff it out when I styled it. I tried to lift the hairs when I combed it but it didn't help. I had been unhappy with the plastic brushes and wanted what I thought of as old-fashioned brushes, so I searched the internet and found the Wigo Boar Bristle brushes. I purchased the brush and it turned out to be the answer to my problem. I would brush all my hair straight up, starting at the nape of my neck. The sensation of a massage of my scalp felt wonderful. The best part was when I combed, not brushed, my hair back into the style I wanted, it was actually fluffier and thicker looking than it was before the brushing. It was as though the hair follicles had been gently pushed into a different position, causing each piece of hair to be pointing out from my scalp, not laying flat against my head. I could not believe what the brush did to my hair. Wish I had known that years ago. At the time of my purchase, I went all out and bought round, straight, small and large styles of the boar brushes. It turned out to be a very good decision because I use them in different ways, i.e., fluffing, curling while drying, massaging and smoothing. I would recommend the brushes to everyone.
The first time I used this brush, it had a horrible smell. I know it's boar's hair, but I didn't think it would actually smell like a boar (musty, dirty, wet boar). I have since read that real boar hair brushes can have this issue. I'm sorry, but I just can't use a brush that will make my whole head smell this way!

So far I'm in love. The handle is comfortable, the bristles have been perfect for my hair so far. Best brush I've bought in a while!

Bought the medium. When I got home I realized it was larger than I thought. Once I used it I was very pleased! It is gentle on the hair & provides lots of volume. I plan to purchase the small size to use on shorter hair.

It does not brush through my hair. I have fine hair

This brush just didn't work for me. It would not "pick up" my hair properly. I wouldn't buy it again, but it could work for some hair types/lengths.

I thought I would invest in a more expensive brush. Soft bristles. My hair is thinning as I'm aging so I want to not rip any hair out unnecessarily. This brush was not the one for me! It tangled my hair very badly. :(

I am not happy with brush I use and hesitant to buy another one to throw in the basket under the sink if not good for me. The sales associate told me if I am not happy with purchase I can return the brush even after using. Took the chance and guess what, I like it.

The brush is worthless.

I use the brush to smooth ands straighten my thick wavy hair. Does great for smothing. I like how it grabs my hair and able to round brush. Does not straighten as well , using a flat brush would be better.

I bought the boar brush to help with thinning hair. It seems to be gentle on my hair and gives it more shine. The handle is a little short and hard to hold onto when drying my hair, Overall I'm pleased with the quality and results.

Terrible brush, don't waste your time purchasing

Works great for my thin, fragile hair. The only con is the handle isn't easy to hold on to or properly grip.

I was looking for a round brush that I could spin easily. A previous round brush would get tangled in my hair and I hoped to avoid this. I can spin it around and blow dry it while it's stationary but I can't keep spinning. Good news is it doesn't get tangled.

I love boar bristle brushes (say that 3x fast!) They don't rip my hair like others and they're just the right size. Just wish the handle had a rubber grip.

My stylist recommended a natural bristle brush like this and it's great for the style I want. Gentle to my scalp too.

I like boar bristle brushes for my hair. This brush was just too flimsy. The bristles dont even get through all of my hair. I've never had that issue before. My hair is not that thick. Disappointed.

I use it daily. It gives my hair more body

I have a pixie cut and this brush makes styling so easy! Plus the bore bristles gives me shine with no frizz!

I use this as a round brush for blow drying my short hair. It helps to straighten and tame the curl. The handle is a little thin for my hand, but I'll get used to it and I like the natural bristles.

I like the fact it's all one piece.ive had round brushes in the past that came in two parts, meaning to say the had a metal band in the middle. So they were always breaking in two.

Daily, when I brush my hair and especially when I blow dry.
I like big hair! from Oakhurst, CA 93644
This brush is easy to handle and my hair doesn't get caught up in the bristles.
