Most Helpful Positive Review Fabulous! I saw this product in Ulta several times. I was, of course, skeptical about how such a small bottle of powder was going to last me more than a couple of uses and how said powder was going to work. Well, I finally broke down and bought it as I was tired of having to tease my hair at the crown. I have a flat spot at the crown of my head and it drives me batty because I feel like everybody can see it (even though I know they can't).
I actually decided to use this product the night of my birthday bash! (talk about putting your faith in a product) I was nervous that it was going to leave my hair lifeless with in an hour, however, it worked like a charm!! My hair stayed nice and full all night long, through dinner and dancing! I was very pleased with this product.
The only con I have about this product is you must be willing to wash your hair after you use this product. You cannot go a couple of days without washing your hair with this product in it. It makes your hair feel absolutely disgusting. I went off shore fishing the day after using this product. I wasn't about to shower just to get on a boat with smelly fish.... MY MISTAKE! My hair felt down right nasty. I wanted to jump off the boat and wet my hair with ocean water to try to rinse it out.
Other than the gross feeling it gives your hair, I would be willing to purchase this product again.
Most Helpful Critical Review Big "sticky" hair I thought it would be great because I fly on business trips a lot and since it's powder it doesn't have to go in the Baggie like other liquid or aerosol hair products. Plus I've always loved Big Sexy Root Pump. So I tried this product. It was awful. It felt like my hair had glue it. I could barely get a brush through it. Don't waste your money!

After styling, I'll add this to the roots of my hair at my crown and it really pumps up the volume. It does leave a cooling sensation upon first contact (just FYI), but this goes away quickly. I try to add *just* enough to give my usually stick straight hair texture and volume without adding too much product, or it can leave hair feeling a little sticky. Back combing in addition to using this product works well too, if you are committed to getting that va va boom factor.

Lasting texture from Metro Detroit
I bought this based on reviews and did online pickup for it. When I got home, I was confused because it was so small. I thought this must be wrong and they gave me the travel size my accident. But after some research, it was the right size and it goes a long way. I love this stuff!!! I just bought it again. It provides a great texture to my fine hair all day. Will keep buying < 3

I usually use Slick Gorilla hair powder, which has a strong workable hold for my medium fine - very short hair. I would not recommend using hair powder past jaw-length hair as it would make it sticky and easy to knot.
This stuff has next to no hold, is expensive, and overall useless. I used a palm full of powder and still achieved nearly no hold. I am surprised, as I have used many of BSH products just fine. This was just a flop for me.

You just need to sprinkle a little where you want volume my hairdresser used it on my hair and it is awesome stays all day even when I wake up in the morning it still looks great only thing I use now

Gives great texture and body without greasy buildup. I prefer to put some on my fingertips and work into hair by sections. I have fine, limp hair. This makes such a difference! I love it! The only disadvantage, if you want to call it that, is it takes two shampoos to completely remove it from your hair. Not a problem for me. That tells me it lasts until you take it out.

I have thin hair so I've been looking for a way to get some volume. This doesn't give me any volume no matter how I use it (on top, under neath) and it makes your hair feel gross. You can't even run your fingers through your hair. Unfortunately have to return this and on the look out for another volume product

My stylist used this on me and I loved how thick my hair looked so I decided to buy it for me and my mom. However it is hard to use. Also another downfall is the texture. You can hardly run your fingers through your hair

I thought this was a great concept but the formula is sticky beyond belief! Leaves hair with a sticky residue and carries onto the inside of fingers. I'm definitely not a fan of that. Returned.

Love this product, the texture it gives my hair makes it so easy to shake on the product then style and go so quickly I rarely spend more than 10 minutes on my hair daily, 15 minutes on days I wash and style it. My son even uses it on his hair for texture purposes. A little goes along way you don't want to apply to much, hair becomes sticky just a little shake.

I love this. It gives volume that will last and its really easy to use. It does make your roots feel dry but I prefer that to how gummy and hard root lifters can make your hair feel

I have had short hair off and on for years. I found this gem several years ago and have religiously used this every time I decide to cut my hair off. It adds great volume to my hair. A little does go a long way with this. When I use this, I don't put any other product (like hairspray) in my hair. This maintains my style all day long. I will always purchase this product!

This powder mousse is really nice - I had been using the got2be brand for quite a few years, but Ulta is not carrying it any more, so decided to try this one. Truthfully, it SHOULD be really nice, as it is 3 times the price of the got2be brand. However, there is a noticeable difference in the quality of this one, so I'm glad I tried it.

Definitely wanted to love this product but it is NOT for me. My hair felt terrible after using this product. Very drying. Made my normally soft bouncy hair feel like pine straw.

Shake gently when applying. Can sometimes come out quickly. Have tried it in a pump. I do like better, as it seems to be more fine and can really get it where you want. But with practice this works good and maybe a few dollars cheaper than pump. Will keep using it, good on fine hair and creates texture and body without being too heavy.

I love this product. I have literally been buying it for at least 4 or 5 years. The best part is a little goes a long way - it lasts for forever! It has no smell, which is great. Additionally, I have dark hair, and it doesn't leave my hair looking white or gray. This product is great for teasing hair and helping to keep it in place. Definitely recommend and will continue to purchase.
