Been using this fa months now.. My go to primer. #Yasss
When I saw this in the store, I got excited, as I have an oily t-zone. Got it home, wore it for 2 days and was extremely disappointed. Not only did it not mattify my face, but I was oilier than ever!!! Where I usually blot my face once a day, I was blotting the entire day to rid my face of the oil. Usually, I love NYX products, but this had to go back to the store.

I like the product.

kept my oily skin at bay..make up went on great and lasted all day..

I finally got an amazing skin care routine down for my dry skin. Unfortunately with that came my skin looking kind of shiny. I tried FOUR other primers before this one. The first time I used it and applied my make up on top, I knew I would never want to use another primer again.

The product goes on smooth but becomes very oily throughout the day. Plus, it tended to cause my foundation to run off.

I've tried many many primers in a quest to find one that makes my make up last. I'm a very oily girl and a lot of primers that claim to keep the oil on your face in control don't actually work. This worked very well for me. Almost as good as the Smashbox photo finish primer. I use this and an elf oil control primer in tandem and it works great for me. Give this a try it's inexpensive compared or other oil control primers.

Shine Killer feels great and it does kill the shine!
Don't try from Chicago
I used this instead of the smashbox primer I usually use, and my face actually looked greasier! It was as if I had literally splattered cooking oil in my tzone! My face is somewhat oily and during the day I can see a little shine, but when I tried this on, my face looked super shiny and greasy. Do not recommend.

Bought this on a whim to see how it stacked up to my favorite Bare Minerals original primer. It is great! Similar ingredients and feels and applies the same. The cost is SO much better. I will buy again.

this is awful. it doesn't help with shine at all. it's just a silicone primer. don't waste your money.

I've never actually hated a product. If they don't work, all well, move on to the next but I can't tell if NYX mislabeled their product and thought "eh, lets just sell it anyways" or what but....this did no sink into my skin at all. It stayed on top like a clear greasy ointment even after 10 min of letting dry. Made my face oilier and greasy. It did nothing AT ALL for shine and right now I have moderate to light oily skin. I can't imagine how this would work if you have heavier oily skin. So no, nope. Not now. Not ever.

Good primer, but does nothing for shine
Danii from Florida
To keep it short and sweet, this primer doesn't do the show it states its intended to do. I have combination skin where my T-zone is oily while the rest of my face is on the drier side. This primer just makes me shinier than i already was. Save your money sis.

I used this Monday and I felt it worked and I was super happy. I used CC cream that day. On Tuesday and Wednesday, I didn't use CC cream because I started to breakout so I wanted to use less product on my face. Those day, when I looked in the mirror I was saw more oil than I had seen in a long time. I looked damp actually but I couldn't feel the dampness for some reason. Also, I could assume this product made me breakout because the CC cream hasn't made me breakout before. I will be returning this product.

This stuff is super greasy when you put it on and it's hard to tell if it's applied evenly. It does help add to my matte look a little bit longer, but since I started using it I keep breaking out. It's just too greasy and clogs your pores.

I have a super oily T-Zone and I swear this product added even more oil to my whole face. My makeup would have looked better if i wouldn't have used any primer
becky from Caribbean
I'm super oily and I've used so many primers on the quest to find one that works best for me. Out of all the drugstore primers I've used this one is literally the best. I can go literally hours without touching up and it will still look good. I know it's this primer because the only thing I switch in my routine is primers.

I use this product all year round & it is really effective in the summer momths

This product made my skin look like a mirror even worse than usual. After 3 uses, the cap started leaking, so in addition to worse looking makeup and skin, my hands would become greasy from just touching the bottle. Do not waste your money.

Okay so I don't like this on my skin at all. It just doesn't feel right. Very heavy and oily feeling for something that should be mattifying. It is matte but I can't ignore the way it makes my skin feel.
Being the weird and unwasteful human that I am, this product ended up on my lips. I used it to top a creme finish lipstick and it made it matte without drying or crackling the way some of the harsher matte lipsticks do. This is honestly great for "making the most" out of your lipstick collection without necessarily buying more lipstick. I recommend it for that purpose.

I really wanted to like this. I've seen so many positive reviews & beauty vloggers that had good results. I've tried it several times and each time I am left with greasy oily skin that gets worse and worse as the day goes on.
Call me Butter face! from NYC
This product is nothing that it claims!! I have more shine after 1 hour, you would think I put butter on my face!! Don't waste your money!!!
PoptartPrincess from Alabama
This is a silicone based primer. Be careful if you use water based foundation/concealer! (which is most products out there) Silicone and water don't mix well! It ADDs to my oilyness and makes my makeup separate and ball up. Not good. Not good at all.
Y.I. from Minneapolis, MN
This is straight silicone in a tube. It's not terrible and is not irritating nor does it have a lot of fragrance. If you need something on a no-makeup day I would say to get this since it's inexpensive and give the skin a soft-focus look but not super dry. I will also say that it's useless until foundation, at least on my combo/oily skin.
Sophie from Long Beaxh
I get super oily so I was hoping this would make my foundation stay matte and last long, but it did literally the exact opposite of what it's supposed to. With other primers, I usually start seeing oil come through after about 6-7 hours but this made the oil come through around 3 hours after application. Not only did it make the oil start earlier but it seemed like there was even more oil than usual. I tried it with so many different foundations and it just doesn't work. At all. This primer is pretty much my worst nightmare. Angel Veil works much, much better :)

So I have very bad acne and oily skin and this dried out my skin like you wouldn't believe. I had it in for a few hours and it make my skin extremely dry and flaky. This happend yesterday and my skin is still mess up from it.
