I got this in the mail about a week or 1 ago & I'm in love. It's perfect for a sexy cat eye since it's so dark & smooth. I love it.
I like the idea of this marker, but the execution was just not what I wanted or needed. Like it's skinny sister, this formula cannot withstand seemingly anything. It smears, smudges, runs and ultimately gets ruined at the slightest touch or hint of moisture and thus serves me no purpose whatsoever. As a freelance make up artist I need a liquid "marker" that can make sharp lines (which this can do) but that will last while I continue to work and then when I'm finished. Unfortunately, I did not get that with this product. I hope they try again, because this is a great concept!

I use this and it works fine two times. I went to use it again like a week later and there was no pigment left in the marker. it was just gray water. absolutely trash

I used the MAC eyeliner before, and this was just disappointing!! the tip was so stiff, and the color was just dull and it smudged quickly. I'll be returning it!

The best liner you'll ever need in your beauty bag

i suck at eyeliner. and this stuff is no exception. i have shaky hand so no matter what I use it looks like a two year old attempting to do my makeup. HOWEVER!!! i use this to prime my lashes. it keeps them separated, lengthed, and wispy. i use lash sensational the metallic pink one which is great for dramatic lashes but when I don't want them standing out so much I use this and the same mascara and it looks like I'm using a completely different type

It basically is what it says it is. So why just 3 stars? What it is, simply isn't that useful. This is NOT a super liquidy felt-tip like many liquid liner pens. It really is more like a dryish marker. You can lay down a really nicely pigmented line with it, but like a regular marker it is sketchy when applying less force. Difficult to make good points on wings because of this. Maybe better for coloring in a big wing? Idk. Good intermediate between a liquidy pen and a pencil if you need something in between. Takes less friction to get solid pigment than a pencil, doesn't lay down enough fluid to have the physics of a liquid pen. Exactly what it says, a marker and not a liquid pen. But not actually that useful.

I used this for around the eyes, checks, and outlined designs for my face for Dia de los Muertos

Perfect in every way! It is on the drier side which allows fewer mistakes! A matte finish! A must have.

This was the worst in my opinion! I've used liners my whole life and I found using this one was very hard to use and also smudged very easily!

This product feels less like eyeliner and more like dried out crayola marker. Extremely dry and weirdly flaky, and very low opacity. On the rare occasion that you can get any product to come out, it goes on streaky. Would rate in the negatives if possible.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased. I usually love all things NYX, and gave heard good things about their liners in general, but was very disappointed. I can't get any of the product to come out of the felt tip..it's like a very dry marker.
Megz from Utah
I love this liner, it's thick and I can get the coverage I want in just one swipe of the liner. Only con is it dries out quickly. I have bought this consistently for a few years now
angel from wisconsin
i use it to fill in my wings but it does dry out quick and does not apply the best over eye shadow

It felt and looked like I was dragging a dried up expo marker around my eyes. There was little to no product coming out and when you do get something it smudges.

I love fat eyeliners and I love Nyx. But this fat eyeliner didn't make me happy. The eye marker I received doesn't work well at all. It seems dry and is so disappointing that I don't try anymore. Perhaps mine is a bad one(?), but considering the money I spent on it I'm not going to buy another.

The product is dried out! Now I have to make another trip to store for a refund-again!! I spent 60 + $ and was supposed to receive a free gift after $19.50 but got nothing, even after mentioning it to checker. She was in too big of a hurry and not very friendly or helpful-made me feel as though she wanted to get rid of me. Did not appreciate that at all.

this is the most disappointing make up purchase ever! I wish I had read the reviews. this item was all dried up not black pulled and skipped looks more like charcoal than black. .

I bought this eyeliner ONE WEEK AGO and it is DRIED OUT. How?! And I am so bummed because the first day I used it, I had the PERFECT cat eyes. Like... I have never been able to do such a perfect flick on both eyes on the first try. The second time I used it, I had the same results! Third time I used it, it started pulling on my eye and wasn't smooth anymore. I tried using it today and it's a bust. Even when I try to get some of the ink to flow by tapping it lightly on my hand, this liner won't give.

I usually love NYX products but this one was a fail... liner transfers to my lid and is very sheer. Would not recommend!

I purchased this because I figured it's not worse than the Eyeco Fat Eyeliner...joke's on me! This cheap puppy dried out a month after I purchased it. My precious Eyeco lasted me close to 6 months. Don't waste your money by "saving" some money.

When I create dramatic eyes, I begin by drawing on with black eyeshadow and then go over it with an eyeliner. This one is perfect because it is so thick and felt!
Lynn from Wichita Kansas
Marker fell out on first use. Tried to retrieve from drain but no luck. Horrible quality I've been telling everyone I know how cheap nyx products are.
Lgasp from Detroit, MI
I just purchased this a few days ago and, not only was it not nearly as dark as it should've been (more a gray thana carbon black), it was completely DRY after ONE use! Total waste of money and super disappointing since I've always wanted to try this liner.
Jolene from Oregon
I couldn't even finish one wing before it dried out completely
EmmaRose from San Antonio
This product was easy to apply. I was looking to try a different eyeliner than the other Nyx one I always get but it didn't stay. Didn't feather out at All but didn't stay on long. Depending on how much you applied it would fade very quickly as if there is more water than product in this container. I would have to go over it almost 3x through out the day for it to stay on. But Application was very just as easy as any other skinnier liners.

I absolutely love this eyeliner, It is quick and easy to use once you get the hang of it, BUT it only lasts me about a week and a half before it dries out. Is it suppose to be like that? I hate having to purchase them so often.
