Most Helpful Positive Review I'm here to save the day
These pencils are amazing, but I have found that the best way to use them is to pot them and apply with a brush. I found that after a while the product gets low and because they can only be sharpened so much, you tend to lose a lot of product. About a min in the microwave liquidfies it. After it cools it is just as creamy as it was in the tube and you have an entire 5mg jar full of product to use!
Most Helpful Critical Review Will not sharpen, waste of money
I have bought three of these thinking each one was defective because once the tip wore down, I was unable to sharpen it because of the heavy plastic. I even have the NYX sharpener and still won't even come close to sharpening it, I have tried everything to get them to sharpen. They are all completely unusable with 80 of the pencil still left. Although I love the milk color, I will not waste my money on even one more of these and will be looking for a similar product in a different brand.

Makes any shadow color stand out. Put underneath my eyes with Twiggy eyelashes drawn on with black eyeliner and it made the black stand out even more. Underneath red it still shows it as a true red color and doesn't turn it pink which is what I was nervous about.
Small quantity, but punches a lot of lasting color

If you want to quickly fill in your eye shadow, eyeliner or even your eye brows (depending on the color you choose. I used dark brown) this product is easy to use and does the trick! This is my 3rd purchase as it does run out quickly, but the price point is also low.

I use this product in the shade Cottage Cheese for an under the eye brighter. It works really well and stays on during the day without any issue!

They really make any eyeshadow pop
Love it! So soft.
Beauty Bee from Hawaii
If my brushes are dirty and I'm in a rush, I'll just grab one of these instead for my eyeshadow. The gold is really nice and the pink is perfect! I have over 8 of them in different colors. The only issue is by the end of the day, after all that blinking, the makeup tends to clump in a straight line. Maybe my setting spray can fix, but it's hardly noticeable.
I would buy this product again

Inner corner to make highlight or colors pop, or use alone
Nice product disappointing packaging

The actual product is nice, goes on smoothly &. Blends well. But I bought this thinking it's a twist up. It's not! Everywhere on the internet it's telling me to sharpen it. Wouldn't repurchase again. Too frustrating.
I will not buy it again.

The size would have been great for the waterline, and it runs smoothly, but it transfers down and smears below the bottom lash line.

I love this product! It goes on super smooth and looks great by itself for an easy shadow look. I'm sure it could also compliment a matte shadow look by spicing up the lids, but I haven't tried it yet. I can't wait to experiment some more with this product!

I honestly loved this product I think it's cute for anime egirly makeup overall the product itself does stay for a few hours on ur water line you'll probably have to touch up on it. I used it as eyeshadow as well blended perfectly overall I love the product I got the shade milk it's so pigmented so I'll definitely be buying again :)

Love this as an eyelid primer! And I'm not allergic to it!

I love this eye pencil, it's so hard to find eye makeup that I'm not allergic to! I'm probably going to buy this in every color!
Creases and does not sharpen
house of saffron from los angeles
You need to powder and prime your eyelids heavily before application, and it still semi-creases on the eyelids. I got these as a dupe for the Laura Mercier caviar shadow stick, but am disappointed. The texture does not apply smooth, and you have to layer multiple times just to get some pigment pay-off.The pencil is made of plastic, it does not sharpen or have an option to twist for more product. Not convenient, and I would not purchase these again. Will continue my hunt for an affordable eye pencil.
I Would Purchase This Again And Again!

A great little eye pencil! I've been using these eye pencils from NYX for a while, & I can say that I love them! However, I highly recommend that you use a quality eyeshadow primer of your choice, as the one downside of these pencils is that they have a tendency to crease, especially in hot and humid conditions. They are highly pigmented and blend out well. I have nearly every colour, as I use mine nearly every day. They usually need to be touched up once a day, or twice if they need to stay in place longer than ten hours. Be sure to use a quality setting spray of your choice for best results.
Love these pencils, great base or easy look!
Mags from OREGON
love these for base color or fast look in the morning. I have oilier skin so a little primer is great.
Love it. Works well!

Stays on. Blends well. Highlights dark areas.
EXCELLENT pigment & DOES SHARPEN!!

I've been using the white Milk "crayon" for yrs. I❤2put my reg.eye base down(either P. Louise/Mac pot or shape tape) then the MILK over it. Sometimes instead of brush ill use my finger & smear or dot it lightly up toward crease&then my corner(tear duct) &depending on my mood I may just throw a little mauve/pink (or whatever color im in mood for that day)&blend it out but NOT where white is. For this I do like a swooping motion so when im done it still looks white yet it's now taken on a pearlescent sheen of the color I was using...Its so fast&easy it always looks very nice & I always get compliments when wearing it like this everytime. You can also use the white as a base place whatever color u plan 2use on top of it & it makes the pigment stand out more.
IDK for the life of me WHY PEOPLE ARE SAYING THEY DO NOT SHARPEN!!! I have one that is literally a stub. As long as the paper if off, you have the larger holed sharpener all you gotta do is twist & they sharpen like a champ. There is tons of product there. Unless they changed the product over nite which I can't see happening. I feel bad for A LOT of people who threw away perfectly good product.
I would recommend this product even if it didn't sharpen (which it does) bcuz come on where else ru going 2find that pigmented of a product 4 THIS PRICE? HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Not the best.

I read good reviews on this products but it's so slimy and not really good for everyday use or for long wear. I wanted it to be amazing so bad but it really let me down!! :(( I guess you can use it as a eye shimmer but don't expect to last long..

I LOVE this eyeshadow and I always get so many compliments!!

I always get so many compliments!!! And it's so easy and fun!!!

It's a pretty color but it creases a lot on the eyes
Nikki9123 from Texas
I LOVE these eye pencils. I've been using them for close to 5 years now and so have my mom and sister. My sister gave a couple to me a few Christmases ago and the rest is history. They go on so easily and the color/pigment is beautiful. The price is beautiful too, of course! I have tried cashmere, lavender, pure gold, milk, strawberry milk, purple velvet, cobalt and many more over the years and have yet to be disappointed by a single color. I have read that they work great as eyeliners and highlighters but I have only used as eyeshadow. Don't know why it never occurred to me to try as a liner or highlighter all this time but I'll definitely be giving it a try now! If you're on the fence about trying these- don't be! They CAN sharpen and they can last a long time if you put a little space between uses. And even if they run out, you can't beat the price, it won't cost an arm and a leg every time you need a replacement.

Perfect for a little touch of highlight on the inner corner of my eyelids. Not a fan of the color name 'Cottage Cheese'.
Formula doesn't set
Ashley from Collierville, TN
I bought iced mocha to use as a cream eyeshadow. Pros- good pigment and a pretty color that applied easily. Cons- the formula never sets so two hours into wearing it had faded and creased even though I have dry eyelids and used the Urban Decay Primer potion on my lids. And so the hunt for a cream shadow stick that's cheaper than Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown continues!
Jax from Los Angeles
I've been using the jumbo pencils in milk and black bean for a long time now, they still work great.
