Most Helpful Positive Review Wow, its actually working! I am 20 years old, and have had very severe acne scarring. I go to the dermatologist, and have everything from Retina, Tazorac, special cleansers, and sulfar-based lotions (for those of you familiar with dermatologist products). I was so desperate to get rid of my scarring, that I decided to try this to even my skin tone and lighten my scars. WOW! Im only on DAY 4, and my scars are already 35% better! Everyone around me, after DAY 2, started complimenting me on how good my skin looked! (and I wasnt wearing any makeup)
The routine I started:(NIGHTLY, after evening cleanse)
I get a facecloth and soak it under hot water. I ring out the excess water, then place the towel on my face to open my pores. I quickly pat my face dry with a seperate towel, and then apply the oil generously. I resoak the towel in steaming hot water, squeeze out all the excess water again, and place it on my face (now that the oil is on) and let it steam my face and open my pores to let the oil seep into my skin. When the towel has lost its heat, I do this a second time. Then, I leave my skin AS IS. Let it dry naturally, so that as my pores close up and any leftover oil on the surface remains on the surface or closes into my pores.
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointing! Yikes! Horrible Rash, so disappointed. I read many reviews and was so disappointed. Used on my legs for age spots from sun damage and also stretch marks on my stomach from pregnancy. The first 3 days was fine, smell was a little strong for me but I was determined to use this 2 times a day and see awesome results like everyone seems to be saying. Well about the 4th day I noticed a rash on my stomach and 5th day noticed it spread brown on the front of my legs and all the way down to feet. Rash also spread around to back of legs and back of knees, & HOLY COW !!!! I had no idea what it was and it kept getting worse and itchy and spreading. The only thing different I could figure out was the oil, and the rash is only in the spots where I applied the oil. I thought... huh, no way! Well, upon further reviews I found a huge group of people describing red itchy bumps that appeared after a few days of use also. So user beware, try on a patch of skin for 4 days or so and see how your skin reacts to the oil. So disappointed people didn't even comment on some of these major sites about some negative things. So please test before using on a large area, especially since I normally never have sensitive or problem skin. Have not used in about 4 days and the rash is still really red, bumpy and spreading, hoping it goes away quickly.

Holy Grail product right here! Originally recommended by a doctor for scar treat Post surgery, I have had amazing results with this oil. It has also helped fade sun spots and acne scars caused by rosacea. I use this everyday after I shower on my body and on my face after my moisturizer every night (unless I use a sleep mask). This product does have fragrance, but I have very sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me, but I know fragrance is a deal breaker for some. Personally I LOVE the scent and find it soothing. I am not a fan of that greasy feeling a lot of body moisturizers leave, so I love the light, easily absorbed formula of this.

Threw away after only a few uses. Made my skin itch terrible, turn bright red and patchy. If you have sensitive skin at all, stay away.
10/10 would recommend — especially for darker complexions 4

I saw significant improvements in the texture of my skin and fading of stretch marks after a couple weeks of use. I got stretch marks at 34 weeks, i gave birth at 39 weeks and I started using this product a month after i gave birth..one month in and my marks are barely noticeable!

I live in an extremely dry environment and do have some stretch marks - I use this after every shower I allow it to sit for 5 minutes (all over my body, NEVER ON MY FACE). After 5 minutes I then seal it in with lotion. It leaves my skin extremely smooth and helps with the appearance of stretch marks! Absolutely love it. I have seen people leave bad reviews because they broke out on their face.. THIS IS AN OIL. Do not apply this on your face unless there's a specific scar use a Qtip and apply to that general area otherwise I'd just recommend not using it on the face area.

This was recommended by a few friends, started using as soon as my belly started getting itchy and dry. This is a thin oil that somewhat absorbs well, but wasn't moisturizing enough by itself. I found that mid-day, my belly felt the same as the rest of my unlotioned skin. Anyways, I put this on twice a day and put Eucerin Healing Cream on top. The cream on top really moisturizes my skin ALL day and seals the oil in because it's super thick. It's not a perfect oil by itself, but pairs well with a thick cream and makes it easier to spread. I grease myself up with this combo figuring that a bit will get on my clothes and not fully absorbed. I'm 8 months and gained 40 lbs, so far I haven't gotten any stretch marks. (I have stretch marks elsewhere, so I'm genetically prone.) The smell is kinda old lady, but I don't smell it after applying and using perfume. I hope this helps other mamas!

This oil is wonderful! I'm very picky about what I put on my skin, especially oils. Im pregnant with my first child. I've gotten the worst stretch marks on my breasts and hips, not so much my stomach. Sometimes they sting and hurt. This oil have helped nourish them and even reduced the redness and look to them. They are still there, but not as apparent. Plus it mixes in well with a scent free lotion.

Bought this after reading many reviews to help prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. Not a huge fan of the smell but it was tolerable. After about 4-5 days of use started having a red bumpy rash in areas it was applied. Rash is still here 5-6 days later and has even spread a little since. Don't recommend if you have sensitive skin!

I started using this product 12 years ago. When I was using it then on a daily basis I had multiple people compliment my skin. I stopped using, and honestly stopped taking care of my skin altogether. Got back to a regime, use this every night, and again I am getting compliments!!

I have used bio oil for the past few years on my acne scars and it helps tremendously! I had terrible cystitic acne and tried everything from pills, laser treatments, benzoyl peroxide washes, you name it! I stopped using everything and started using only dove beauty bar and bio oil and this is the best my skin has felt or looked in years! I do not recommend using it on your face everyday though, sometimes not often I'll get a small rash with little bumps along my forehead if I overuse it. I do use it everyday twice a day on my stretch marks though and it has really made a difference with no irritation. I have had 4 children and the only noticeable stretch marks I have are a few on my sides and it's because of this! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I am pregnant with my fourth child and I never tried this till now. it's smooth not greasy I recommend this product I haven't seen any diminishing stretch marks or prevention as of yet but it's a good moisturizer so far.

With the face mask requirements, my skin has been absolutely suffering. I had tried countless remedies, including changing my face wash, changing the material of my masks, salicylic acid containing washes, spot treatments, steaming, spa masks, etc. It turns out a lot of my "acne" is actually scarring because I can't take my hands off my face. A combination of using my normal face wash, an acne spot treatment, and this oil has slowly made my skin much more even. I've only used this for about a week, but I already notice a difference, and it says to use it for a minimum of 3 months.
The only thing that bothers me, is I have to put it on my skin when I know I have ~an hour to just let my face breathe. It literally is an oil, and although it says your skin will soak it right up, it still acts as an oil for me. It kind of just sits on the surface of my skin and slowly sinks in. Otherwise, it feels like I'm wiping coconut oil off my skin. I'm able to wear it overnight and not really have any issues as long as I let it sit for an hour.

This product was the worst waste of money. I had an allergic reaction and have never experienced that with anything else. It turned my whole face red and the next morning I woke up with about 6 pimples on my face. Horrible product.

It works great for stretch marks you see an improvement but don't put on face. I have acne scars on my face and that was reason why I bought it for my face, I do have stretch marks so it was added bonus to get it. I noticed after a few days that my face had dots or wholes on my face where my scars were, I thought it was something else so I stopped using it, I kept using this and it started to get really sensitive and I felt like it was burning. I stopped using this product to test it out and I got back in and same thing happened again. I highly recommend to not use it on your face! It will burn it, it works great for stretch marks on the rest of your body but not your face.

I've been using this product for 4 months now and have noticed drastic changes in my skin. So much smoother and softer, less lines!! It also moisturizes great. Don't put too much on or it gets a little sticky like.
