I am a self tan junkie! I self tan regularily but always use gloves vs. a mit. But i decided I needed to try one and see what all the hype is about. These were buy 2 get 2 free at my Ulta so I grabbed 4. I have to say with lotion, don't even bother just use gloves. But if your using a spray on self tanning product, or a mousse self tanning product they are a must have! They give you a great even tan no streaks. And also they help you conserve product! You only have to use a minimum amount for max results with a mit. They get very dirty, but they rinse out in water after each use.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not sure about this
This mitt was difficult for me to use. I found that it was difficult to get my back with it since it only has one side of padding for the body. I also found that it soaks up so much product and is really wobbly. When I would wipe my body it would want to turn around on my hand exposing the side that product can get through. This also can cause a streak if your hand slips(because it twists). Not going to get this again.

This is thinner than I thought It would be but It gets the job done and doesn't leave streaks. I would suggest washing out after each application though to keep using It for a while otherwise I could see this roping and becoming gross quickly.

Just what i needed. Worked great.

Feels like it costs $1. Ripped after the first use. Do not recommend

So the first time I've used it was today. It tore in 3 places. Definitely only good for one use. I guess you get for what you pay. Definitely not durable.
I beg you, DON'T buy this..
customer from NY
I bought this mit because it was a few bucks cheaper than the other ones, horrible mistake. The mit left my entire body covered in little furs that came from the mit. It also streaked my tanner on and absorbed almost half the product. I threw it out half way through my first use and just used my hands. Thats how bad it was...
Absorbs all the product!
Sunnybum from LA
It's a good price but that's where the pros end. You have to use double the product because the mitt soaks it all up. I would recommend the St Tropez mitt instead.

Save your time and money and don't get this mitt. It was a streaky mess. Awful. Luckily, I had my old mitt to save my tan or I would look CRAZY.
Just what I needed

Works great with tanning spray. applies evenly and keeps your hand clean.
Would not buy this again.

Would only buy this again if no other mits available. My Ulta was out of my favorite mits so I decided to try it. It's too big and product comes thru so I had to wear disposable gloves while using. It doesn't have a liner and has only one side to apply product.
Don't waste your money

I tried this because it's cheaper than some of the leading brands. Waste of money. It came apart at the seems during the first use. Don't buy. Just pay the extra couple dollars and get the St tropez.
Probably won't buy this again

The material is a little cheap so it doesn't spread the product the best. It's fine but its not the best mitt. Unfortunately, it was the only option at the store the day I went in.

This... I don't even know. It is SO STREAKY. My tan looks TERRIBLE. I use the BaliBody Ultra Dark, and it's usually a BEAUTIFUL tan, when I used their mitt. But it got too old, and I picked this up on the fly and it's AWFUL. I don't even want to go out in public until the tan fades. Foam mitts (or whatever the heck this is) are trash. 13/10 don't recommend.

I thought I would go the cheaper route... This mit made my tan extremely uneven and instead of being smooth, it was really rough and felt like it was exfoliating. Should have gone with the more expensive mit.
Not the SAME product as in the past :(

I have been purchasing this Ulta Beauty mitt for at least 2 years, and have always been pleased with the results. However, I purchased one in store last week and although it LOOKS the same, when I tried to apply my self tanning mousse, it is apparent that the manufacturer has changed the fabric on the applicator side of the mitt. Instead of the 'velvety-smooth fabric' of the product description, the fabric is now rough and scratchy....you can actually HEAR it chafing against the skin. So disappointing! These mitts used to be my 'go-to' applicator b/c they looked, felt, and performed just like the more expensive name-brand mitts but were slightly less expensive. Now they feel like sand paper. I will not be purchasing again, sadly.

I just had to look at my order history to see if I accidentally bought an exfoliator instead of a application mitt. This mitt is ROUGH. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to buying
Terrible don't buy
Ashley from Columbus
I just ordered this and the first use the material of the mitt clumped my self tanner and spread with a weird texture due to the material of the mitt coming off.
Brittany from Ohio
Crumbled apart on my first swipe! Would not recommend.
Paige from Oswego, NY
Cheap and obviously if you want perfection spend more money and buy something else but this does the job for me!
10/10 Do NOT Recommend

I love Ulta Beauty, but this product of theirs didn't make the cut for me. Don't get me wrong, it got the job done but the packaging claims it's reusable when it ripped twice...meaning I won't be able to use it again.

I needed a new mitt and decided to use the Ulta brand after an employee said they didn't have the usual brand I use and spoke highly of the Ulta mitts. What a mess. It caused balling up of product or the mitt decided to shed on me, and after the tanner that I've never had any problems with set it looked awful. I have been tanning for 3 months now using the Jergens self tanning Foam and the Jergens Mitt and I've never had an issue with it. The Ulta mitt is Horrible. I have been doing my hands with the Jergens mitt and never had any product build up but the Ulta mitt has left my hands a mess. There's patches and it looks awful. Under my arms and around my shoulders looks so bad. This is bad, real bad. Guess I won't be wearing any sleeveless blouses this week.
Don't bother buying!
Izzy from Kansas
The foam shedded all over me and balled up with the fake tan. It was creating a streaky mess so I just had to wash it off the one arm I did to avoid disaster. On top of the shedding it was extremely scratchy. This mitt is a hot mess just spend a few more dollars for something nicer.
Tera from Ohio
I was not impressed with this mitt. Very rough feeling.
Brooke from POrtland, OR
I used this with my Loving Tan Mousse and I noticed that if I used it with a lot of tanner, the tanner would start to ball up on my skin. It was horrible- I had to wash it all off and start over, I found that if I used it sparingly it didn't seem to do it as bad. It got the job done but not as good as other mitts.
Meg from MD
The seams fell apart, it was rough when applying the tanner, and it left pieces of the cloth behind which made it seem clumpy.
Rough and poor quality
Brianna from New York
The mitt has a rough feel to it when applying self tanner. Also, some self tanner seemed to leak through and stained my fingers.
