Most Helpful Positive Review Don't judge it's cover How I use the product is that I use a base coat and waited until it dried. The product drys pretty fast for people who's actually impatient. Then again, I coated the Essie polish and, the color, oh my gosh it's true to its color. I loved the color to the point that I double coated it to make it darker to get the fall look. It kind of took abut linger to dry but then again, it's a wonderful product. After when it's dried, just added the top coat when it's dried. I use the matte topcoat just to make the solid look. Gotta love the product!
Most Helpful Critical Review Hmmm... When I first bought this colour, it was the perfect lilac shade for my skin tone and I loved it. After a while though, I noticed that the colour in the bottle turned light blue with no purple in it at all. I applied it and the colour was a light blue on my nails too. At first, I thought that it was only because I stored the nail polish in a spot that made the colour turn blue. But all my other Essie nail polishes that were stored there did not change in colour. So I bought another bottle, and the same thing happened. I bought a third bottle, and my results were the same. Overall, I was disappointed that it turned to light blue, because the original lilac shade looked really good on me and I loved it a lot. Maybe its just me?

I got the color Bikini so Teeny and it says it's shimmer, but it's not. It looks shimmery in the bottle, but doesn't look shimmery at all when worn. Not even in the light. The color is awesome though. I get complements on it all day long and it pops so much it practically glows. The formula is good too, I can go 3-5 days before it chips.
Not a winner 2
Disappointed from Summerville SC
I've never bought nail polish over 1.99 in my life until I bought these 3 bottles of Essie from Ulta last week. I put the color on and then of course let it dry then applied the top coat, looked like I went to the salon. I purchased the gel quick dry and I was so satisfied with how beautiful it looked. The next day I was at work and noticed my index finger the nail polish was completely gone, later I found it on the floor like a fake nail had just fallen off, by the end of the day it haten to 3 of them. I could understand if I worked at a job that I washed dishes or something but I don't. I removed it the next day and redid them only this time I put the top coat on first and then the color and then the top coat, I was at home cleaning house and again they would randomly peel off. We went out of town, I did my nails in the hotel and the next day we went out to eat and but the end of the day with me doing nothing more than putting my hands inside my jacket the nail polish peeled off, by the end of the day 5 out of the 10 were gone. I'm highly disappointed, I know it's not my fingernails because none of the other brands I own have ever done this, I've never experienced this until I bought this brand 😏.
LOOOOVE 5

Essie is the only nail polish I will ever buy. I love the shades ballet slippers and mademoiselle. Such beautiful classic pale pinks!
Beautiful shift of color 5

I love the way this polish shifts color when light reflects off of it.
Too Sheer, Takes Too Long to Dry 1
Pam Halpert from Seattle, WA
I do like the color once enough coats are on but it takes so long for each layer to dry. It was excruciating. Even after two days and with a top coat on, the nail polish is still not completely dry. Maybe the nail polish is meant to stay sheer but if that was the case, I'm not sure why it costs so much. There are cheaper brands like Sinful colors that have one or two coat coverage even for such light colors. This was just my attempt at trying a better brand. I probably will never purchase Essie again.

Mixed feelings.... 3
Raquel from Anchorage, AK
I have such a love/hate relationship with Essie. I absolutely love their range of colors but I feel like different polish colors have different formulas or something. For example, I got the shades 'Topless and barefoot' and 'around the bend'... Topless and barefoot is a beautiful color and the formula was perfect, however it only seems to last about 3-4 days (and that's with base coat, 2 polish coats, and topcoat) then it starts to chip... very bad... My manicure only seems to last me 4 days, which is extremely upsetting.
The other shade I got, 'Around the bend' was EXTREMELY streaky!! It was a lot more runny than the other shade I bought. It took a good amount of coats to be able to get the desired amount of color.

Essie never lets me down. This color is perfect for the fall/winter time. Always looking fresh out the nail salon when wearing Essie polish.
Love Essie nail polish 5
jw from Dothan, AL
I bought the Essie nail polish color Berry Nice, looking at it online I was not sure if it was going to be what I needed but it was that and more. It is a beautiful shimmery color that goes with so many things and I really like wearing it.

Why Essie??? I had sworn off your polishes before but had been told they were improved. Ugh. Nope. Same old problem, a gummy finish after it was supposedly dry.

I bought this because I really wanted that light green color but I was skeptical of buying online would skew the color. It doesn't! Highly recommend these products!
A pretty nude 5
Alo from Rio Rancho, NM
Purchased this product for a classy fresh look and this shade did the job. I applied two layers of the nail polish and it's very glossy and pretty long lasting without any clear top coat. I'd definitely recommend this product (brand of polish) for anyone who's looking for a good quality polish. This is it.
Took forever to dry 2
PS from Los Angeles, CA
I really loved the color of Topless & Barefoot even though it turned out to be more lighter pink than beige.
It took so long to dry though, more than half an hour and if you touch anything then you'd have to reapply and wait a long time before it dried. I ended up spending an hour redoing it and ended up with a bunch of air bubbles/smudges.
Love the color 5

Queen Elizabeth's Nail Polish 5
Joanne d. from Brownsville, Texas
I bought a few of these as a Christmas gift for my friends who watch the Crown. Queen Elizabeth has been using this nail polish exclusively for the past eight years.
Did not like. 1
K. from Minneapolis
It does not last for a very long time. I was very satisfied for a few hours until I realized it started coming off, how do I explain it.. It was like jelly?
Very nice light color 5
NanaG from WI
Build up layers and let dry well. It smudges if it isn't dry enough
Not impressed. 2
lhall from Madisonville, KY
I didn't like the color on all my nails. It feels like more of an accent color. It also doesn't wear well - chipped quickly and became dull.
I would buy this product without hesitation. 5

I don't know why I waited so long to try this color. It's been available for years. It is classic. I have gotten so many compliments!!!
A Cut Above! 5
Jac from Florida
I really love this polish! It adds an amazing effect on top of any polish. On the first coat it has a very nice scattered effect, but you can build it up with a second coat to be denser , or even a third one for an almost chrome-esque fully packed nail. It's truly so gorgeous and shines so bright, even without a top coat. Due to the nature of it being a glitter, it lasts extremely long, but it does take a little bit of time to take off. I usually just need to soak my nails in acetone. Sometimes if I try and wipe it prematurely, it will actually just wipe the coloring off of the glitter and then the cotton ball is all caught in the glitter on my nails and everything. If you let the nails soak for at least like 10 or 15 minutes, it should all swipe off effortlessly. A little goes a very long way, I've had my bottle for two years now. It is also so versatile, you can put a singular coat over natural nails for a really cute pop of glitter, add some glitter on top of polish, or even make a full glitter nail. It is definitely worth a buy!
Great for the simple 5
nicki from florida
I like it because I only apply about two coats to get the natural pale pink color that my nails already produce. But more shiny. I want someone to hold my hand while they look like this lol
