Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect I was frustrated that my brush cleaner wasn't doing the job. No matter how much I cleaned, they always seemed not quite there. So I looked at the top three brush cleaners here and ordered one of each.
I started with my foundation brush. I spent 15 minutes applying and wiping! I'm betting some of the product was from my first application (about two years ago). When I was done, the brush looked like it did when I took it out of the package. I was so amazed I spent the next two hours cleaning all my brushes, even the rarely used ones. This morning, I walked in the bathroom and saw all my brushes on the counter. It felt like I was looking at a collection of brand new brushes! Seriously. I have never been so excited to write a review. It deserves more than five stars.
Most Helpful Critical Review Don't use this! Was recommended by the sales clerk at Ulta as I was buying another IT brush. I have always used mild shampoo with no problems. Used this cleaner as directed and now my foundation brush is shedding huge clumps of bristles. Absolutely furious with myself for trying this and destroying at $40 brush that I like.

I have been using this for several years and am satisfied. I have seen other reviews that have said you can clean your brushes with it and then use them right away. I disagree. It has to dry completely in order to apply makeup properly, otherwise there is a lot of smearing. That said, it does do a good job cleaning brushes but it does take several sprays to remove all foundation from brushes. So the price is a bit high for how long it lasts, IMO.

This spray will remove any and all left over product, but at least to me, they still feel very dirty after. This product also seems to be very oily. I would recommend still washing brushes after using this.

This is a wonderful cleaner! Smells nice, and cleans amazingly well. I wish it had a different method of application- the sprayer can be messy and waste product. I spray into a small container and swirl brush in about 2-3 sprays and it works better.

There is nothing like this on the market. Spray your brushes, wipe a few times on a towel and voila, it's like new. There is a scent but it doesn't bother me. I make sure to have several bottles of this in my stash it's that good.

I love this brush cleaner. It cleans brushed use for both powder and liquid products. I can tell my skins is also healthier with the daily use of cleaning my brushes with this product. It is very easy to use, and does not add too much time to my daily make up routine.

When cleaning brushes, no matter how many times you spray or wipe the brushes with a cloth, there is still a lot of makeup residue. The spray does help get slit if residue off but not all. Coconut oil and dish soap work better and is much more affordable.

I love using this to clean my brushes. A little goes a long way and the brushes get cleaned fast and there's no dry time. I can't figure out if I like the smell or not. It's strong but it doesn't linger in the brushes (in my opinion). I will definitely purchase again.

This brush cleaner is great and fast when you need to clean your brushes without waiting a day or two to thoroughly dry. I got this as a small trial size and loved it so much I had to buy the full size. I spray it on the brush, then swipe it back and forth on a clean wash cloth until it is clear of makeup residue. It smells nice and it helps remove the bacteria so I don't break out. Love this spray.

I like how quickly you can clean the makeup brush and approximately a minute after cleaning you can use the brush. Just spray, rub brush on tissue and use. Really cleans!

I have the "IT Cosmetics Brush Love Skin Loving Makeup Brush Cleaner" and thought this would be good too? Nope! The smell of perfume in this product is unbearable. It also left an oily residue on my brushes that took a few washes to get out. Steer clear of this.

1-3 sprays of this on an eyeshadow brush, all product is gone, brush is completely clean. It doesn't leave the brush wet, or a weird grainy feeling. Would recommend!!!

I used my brush but I feel like it was clean enough and it was oily. It took a while to make sure that i got all the product off. I think ill stick with baby soap for now.

I love the product and use it everyday. But one day, I sprayed my brush and the spray needle flew out. I couldn't put it back together, so now it squirts everywhere. Lots of product waste due to poor bottle design.

I wanted to like this so bad! my friend was so enthusiastic about me getting this and once I did I was let down. I bought this as part of an online order. When I received my package, the brush bath leaked on all of my other purchases and completely soaked the box. I returned it in store for a new one, but it did the same thing in my purse on my ride home. Is it just my luck?? I think I'll stick to something else, for my wallet's sake haha.

I was very surprised to clean my concealer sponge with help of this cleanser. So just simply sprayed directly on my sponge then squeezed few times then rinsed and voila(!) it became clean!!

I wash my foundation brush first and use this after if it doesn't get everything off completely. After I use it my brushes look new again.
