Most Helpful Positive Review My Lip Savior! My lips chap easily and when it's cold out even shrivel a little, so I've always been on the hunt for something moisturizing. I also have days where I don't wear makeup, so I wanted something that I could slap on and have some protection. Usually chapsticks only come in SPF15 or SPF20, but when I found this I snatched it up! I've used the regular Aquaphor for slathering on my lips or eyelids at night (also highly recommend for after tattoo care), and knew it could be trusted. The main downside is the taste and smell which is of course SPF (not super strong though). What I do to prevent tasting it is squeeze a small amount on my finger, apply to the outer most part of my lips, and then dab inward. You still smell it, but I find in time I don't notice it anymore, and I bet you could mask it with a scented lip product just fine.
Most Helpful Critical Review This ain't it chief. I am an avid user of the Regular Aquaphor Lip Repair, but the one with sunscreen is a no, if i might say. I thought it would be great at first, but the second i tried it out it was too runny. I thought it was meant to be like that so i had tried it a few different occasions and each one the same. Then I tried shaking the chapstick because i thought separation had happened, and no success. I even tried squeezing out the first layer of liquid to get to the aquaphor and no luck, i ended up wasting a third of the product in the tube. Besides, the taste and smell of the liquid that first comes out is pure sunscreen. If i wanted to lick sunscreen off my lips i would have done that myself a long time ago.

THE BEST FOR MY CHAPPED LIPS. Where I live it gets super dry and cold during winter. Add to that wearing a mask for 6 hours a day, and my lips are devastatingly chapped. This is the ONLY thing that has helped. If you accidentally taste a little it isn't bad tasting at all. Has texture of coconut oil on lips without being as greasy, if that makes sense. Product doesn't seem to slide off my lips. But seriously, get it if you are in dire need. SPF as bonus too bc that's obviously great.
Great product! ❤️ 4

I love it. It instantly soothes my lips and it leaves a slight gloss on them. My only complaint is that i have to either put a reasonable amount on or reapply a lot.
The taste is DISGUSTING!!! 1

I love the Aquaphor Healing ointment for skin. I adore it! But this for lips has a super thin consistency and the taste is the worst!!! I've used the skin ointment on my lips before without this awful taste!
Holy grail 5
Sam from New hampshire
This stuff is the best! Its the only stuff that works pretty much instantly. I will be forever buying this product.
Love this 5
Cynthia from Ventura
If you're looking for a lip balm with SPF, this is it! No white cast. Leaves my lips smooth and shiny. Definitely repurchasing.
I don't get the taste and smell comments... I had to go smell it to try to understand. I don't mind the smell at all.
Highly recommend!
Smell and Taste EW 2
tlybrwn from DFW TX
I haven't been able to use this like I want because I can't get over the smell and the taste. It's not like I'm eating it, but from wearing lip products that "move" lips may end up in your mouth. It smells medicated. I bought it because the tube. Going back to the mini jar.

Nothing special here and super tiny product - purse sized.
Dries my lips out 2
Abby from Connecticut
I don't know how or why, but this always seems to make my lips feel even drier after using it.

Staple product in my routine 5
Lily360 from Seattle, WA
What is there to say, but that aquaphor is a staple brand in my routine. I love that this has SPF in it and it feels great on the lips.
taste is awful 2

it's a little liquidy and somewhat hydrating but the taste is absolutely disgusting and it ruins it for me
Made lips peel a little bit 3
Leah from northeast
I have come to the conclusion that everything but Carmex made my lips peel. I knew that before buying this product, but i saw it on sale and figured i'd give it a shot. I gave it 2 stars because it didn't make me peel nearly as bad as other products i've tried, but it still happens.
It is the best for beautiful lips 5

amazing for the summer time bc it not only has spf, but it helps with my dry lips
Terrible 2
Unsatisfied consumer from NJ
It does not keep my lips moisturized. At first it feels moisturizing but after 10 minutes it leaves your lips dry. And it's also very slippery it moves around on my lip. Definitely would not purchase again.

Helps with my very dry lips in Colorado.
The taste ruins it 2
Lauren from Chicago
This actually does moisturize my lips, which a lot of other reviewers did not experience, but the taste is absolutely vile. There's no way to avoid eventually getting a bit in your mouth. There are other SPF products out there that look nice and don't taste awful. I'll use one of those if I'm outside, and regular Aquaphor at all other times.
I'm glad I didn't listen to all the bad comments 5

It leaves my lips shinny and protected. Does have a sunscreen scent; however all that I have tried do.
Big Bummer 1

First, let me say that I absolutely LOVE the regular aquaphor. I needed a new tube and this was the only one I saw so I grabbed it, assuming the sunscreen would just be an extra benefit. WRONG. This dries my lips out sooo bad so quick! At first I just thought my lips were chapped so I was putting it on constantly, then I realized that THIS was what was making my lips dry. They got so cracked and flaky, I even got these little baby bumps lining my lips. I've never had this type of reaction to an spf in a lip product so I'm not sure what the issue is with this formula specifically but i definitely do not recommend.
Not for sensitive skin 1
JF from NYC
Apparently I'm sensitive to spf in lip products because after one day of using this my lips became extremely chapped and raw. The formula without spf is great but I would not recommend this to anyone with any lip sensitivities.
Great!! 5

Simply a really great lip balm! Love this stuff, and it's even better with the added SPF! Use it all the time, especially now in the winter months.
AMAZING 5
Caity from Louisiana
After just 3 uses my overly chapped lips turned smooth. It's been 3 days and my lips are perfect!
Would definitely buy again!
If I could give it no stars I would. 1
Truth seeker from Don't worry about it.
Trust the bad reviews. Tastes disgusting, reeks of chemical smell, and after all that... it DOESN'T WORK!!
I tried it for like a week and after that I just couldn't take the smell anymore and God forbid I accidentally taste it. The worst! 💀💀💀💀
Makes my lips even dryer from having to wipe the filth off after applying.
did not work for me 3

I regret buying this product 1
Upset from Oregon
I got this bcs I've been using my sisters aquafor healing products for my lips, which are seriously messed up. Then I learned that aquafor made products to " repair" your lips and I was stoked, but when I used it for the first and only time, it burned my lips and also made them bleed.
