Most Helpful Positive Review Great cleansing Water
I received Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water through Pinchme complimentary for my honest review.
The one I received is an all-in- 1 brightener with vitamin C for dull sensitive skin. Which is perfect as my face is combination, but mainly oily in summer and I can at times get dry patches sporadically in summer & winter in random areas of my face.
I love that this product has no drying agents such as alcohol, no fragrances in case you are sensitive to scents( big benefit, because I'm pregnant - smells can be off-putting at this time), or any added oils to increase grease production on your face..
After using this product for about 2 weeks I did notice it would pick up grime even if I washed my face with only warm water to test out how effective it is. So far I'm impressed that it still had the ability to pick up some grime. I haven't noticed any skin brightening yet. I may still have premature results being 2 weeks and that's not everyday use( every other day, but multi time a day usage).
My only drawback for me is it doesn't hydrate, even though it states it's a non drying formula. At times I'm on autopilot or living a rushed hectic lifestyle keeping up with my toddler that I actually forget to apply moisturizer after I use it. Which led me to drying out a bit on my cheeks from washing my face with warm water. This is only due to my previous routine where most of my products I use have some hydrating benefits. So it's really a matter of making a mental note to add some type moisturizer after use.
Anyway, I did notice and thought it was a nice kicker that the bottle is made of 30% recycle plastic. It's nice they are taking into account the environment with there products.
Really nice product, I'm willing to try their other Micellar waters to see if I can find the perfect fit for me. Highly recommend this one for those really looking to avoid additional hydration.
Most Helpful Critical Review Amazing!
I'm someone that uses Micellar Water every day, twice daily (morning & night) before washing my face to help remove sunscreen, pollution, grime, make-up, etc so I've tried many, many brands & I know what I like. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Vitamin C not only does what it's supposed to do by gently cleansing but it goes above & beyond by also brightening the skin. I really appreciate the fact that this micellar water does not leave my skin feeling sticky or irritated, which has happened with a few others cleansing waters I've tried in the past. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Vitamin C is gentle enough to be used multiple times a day while being effective enough to sufficiently cleanse the skin without any irritation. Highly recommended!

I'm not one to jump on trends quickly. I didn't with this micellar water. I decided to finally give it a chance. I absolutely love it. I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate my skin at all. Overall I think it does a great job at removing makeup.
Another great product from Garnier

I really love that this is a quick & easy way to remove makeup and cleanse my skin. Typically, I use this in the morning and follow with my morning skin care routine including SPF. At night, this is my first step before I double cleanse and follow with my night care routine. I have noticed that this does brighten the skin a bit. I've only been using this for about 2 weeks and today I noticed that my cheeks are red. I haven't introduced any new products other than this lately. I really hope that this is not the cause for the redness and whatever the cause may be it is temporary.

I have gone through so many of these I've definitely seen a change in my skin
Doesn't bother my sensitive skin

I switched to this formula as I have had good results with the brand for years. I like how simple it is to use, and that it does not have a strong fragrance.
Very gentle on the skin

My skin is very sensitive and this product is perfect for me
Luffy from Yuma Arizona
I love the clean feeling this gives my face, light and fresh. It says you don't have to wash it off which I've tried. I prefer to wash it off kinda splash water onto my face bc it leaves a slight residue. Also it took my makeup off nicely! I also put some on a cotton pad and do circular motions on my face to freshen up throughout the day it feels nice.
broke me out soooo badly
saddgirlhours from san diego CA
This product broke me out so badly, I typically never have acne and now my whole face has tiny pimples all over it the morning after using it :( very disappointed since I love the other micellar waters by garnier. Supposed to be safe for sensitive skin but everyone is different! I haven't broken out like this since I tried the too faced hangover primer

Smells nice and isn't irritating.
Absolutely love this

So I have oily dehydrated skin. I'm prone to acne and I've just recently started to get it under control. I absolutely love this. it gets my make up off easily, makes my skin feel fresh and clean. It's super light weight, and best of all it gives my skin a little more of a healthy glow to it.
I would buy this again

I have combo skin and this cleanses with out over drying and doesn't leave behind any excess oil in my T-zone
Just Buy It

I use this as a gentle toner/morning cleanser. Just lightly soak a cotton pad and you're good to go. I love how inexpensive and easy it is to find this. Definitely just get this if you're on the fence about it.
Amazing for sensitive skin

Love it! Best cleanser from Garnier. It removed all my makeup even waterproof mascara with no problem. Didn't burn around my eye like the others and also didn't leave my face greasy looking. My skin was brighter and smoother. Definitely recommend this cleanser especially if you have sensitive skin.

Leaves my skin so clean!

I am lucky and don't have "bad skin" but I would get breakouts after wearing face make up. I switched to using this cleanser at night to take off products and never wake up with breakouts!
Becky from Montana
I am highly impressed with this product. It melts away makeup, even waterproof mascara, like nobody's business. It gives Clinique a run for their money.
Edit since I made a dumb typo in last review

So, I wanted to say that the last micellar water I got from the Garnier line was the rose water one. That one can be used Day and night and it's very hydrating. I look forward to trying another micellar water from the line after I run out of the vitamin c one.
Makarios from Imperial, CA
This whole micellar line is amazing!! I was previously using the one with micellar water because of it's hydration benefits. I've been dealing with acne and trying to fade my acne scars, so I figured I needed another brightening agent. This is very gentle and this whole line is good at removing makeup and impurities. I also like that they're alcohol and fragrance free. I'd recommend to only use during the day if you use a retinol at night. If I'm removing makeup in the evening, I use my cleansing balm instead.

Works 10/10 for removing makeup, though I got this specific one (yellow bottle) because it has the vitamin C which is supposed to brighten. I'm almost halfway done with the bottle and haven't noticed any difference in my skin. It does melt away mascara and thick foundation no problem! So I don't see how this one is any different than the pink bottle.
Refreshing and gentle

I use this product with the exfoliating cotton pads from Ulta brand and it help take my makeup off so much better than wipes!
Works great for mishaps
Cathy from Kennewick WA
This product does not work as well as Clinique at taking off mascara and liner but I do like to use it if I get wild with my liner or mascara. It is good to put on a Q-tip and fix smudges or mishaps. It is cheaper than Clinique so I like to use it for small issues. It works fine for the removal of foundation and I don't notice any brightening in my skin.
Great Micellar Water
Anna from Massachusetts
Really pleased with this product. It works well for makeup removal. If I use it to freshen up in the afternoon, it removes oil without making my skin too dry.
I love a good dupe, but Bioderma just works better.
Jane from TX
This product does what it says it does, but I feel like I have to work more to remove all the makeup, sweat, and grime from my face than I have to do with Bioderma's micellar water. 9 times out of 10 I purchase the less expensive alternatives to pretty much any skincare or makeup product but in this case, I think Bioderma performs better enough to justify the few extra dollars. If you're really apprehensive about not spending more for Bioderma or if this micellar water is just easier for you to get a hold of, then this product works well enough to get the job done.
