Most Helpful Positive Review Beats a dryer and brush! I purchased this brush on a whim after watching a few hot air brush videos. I purchased the 1.5" brush and have been pleased with it for the most part.
I've been blow drying my hair with a round brush and a hair dryer (I use a John Frieda dryer, too), and was getting aggravated with the limpness and mild friz of my hair by the time I was done drying. I was also trying to simplify my styling in the morning now that it's getting more hot and humid. To run an 1875-watt hair dryer in a tiny bathroom is miserable. I was drenched in sweat by the time I was done! This brush only pumps out 500 watts, so the bathroom doesn't get as hot, but I also have to run the hot air brush through my hair a few more times to get the look I want. I start with my hair about 80% dry, put in a dollop of mousse, dry my hair upside down just a tad more, and then start with the hot air brush.
I was thoroughly impressed at how light and silky my hair was after the first time I used it, but I noticed that it wasn't adding as much volume as others had proclaimed in other reviews and even in YouTube tutorials. My guess is because I purchased the 1.5" brush, which is probably great at producing that straight, sleek look that I am (unintentionally) getting. I'll be purchasing/exchanging the 1" size to try it and see which brush I prefer. It could also be my hair that is causing the issue. I have really long, medium-thickness hair (not too thick, not too thin), so it's quite possible that it's too heavy to hold the style I was looking for. On the plus side, the frizz-free mane I get in the morning when I don't attempt anything fancy, lasts all throughout the day, even with the horrible humidity we've been having in our area lately.
Overall, this is a great tool. A little slick to hold--mine slipped out of my hand because I was holding it too close to the base and not close enough to the heat switch where it's more ergonomic (operator error), so just be careful.
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointed Have used this eyeliner for several years with great results but the last one I bought broke as soon as I opened it and twice more, feels much softer than usual and messy to use.

This product is so hard to work with. The application is terrible and it hurts when applying. The product doesn't come easily and there's absolutely no glide. Would not recommend

I am used to using Nyx eyeliners but tried the Colorstay in black. It's creamy, comes with a built in smudger and sharpener and it stays put all day and night. I threw all of my Nyx eyeliners away and bought the Colorstay eyeliners in brown, jade and black violet. Beautiful colors! The black violet doesn't have the purple jump out at you, it's just a subtle difference that's very pretty. I like the jade color as well, it's a great green shade that's not too crazy. The brown is also nice, not too dark that you think it's black and not so light that it's not noticeable. I absolutely love these!
top notch liner 5

I have been using this eye liner for years. It is easy to apple, it does not pull on my lids. It staying power is excellent and most of all I love that I do not have to sharpen it. Great liner for the price.

I was looking for a waterproof brown eyeliner that application would be smooth going on. This was a great choice and didn't cost as much as other eyeliners.

It goes on smoothly and looks great on. The color I chose is just perfect, not too harsh. I definitely will buy this item again.

Fab Shades that Stays Put 5

Having sensitive, mature and expressive eyes, my eyeliner often strays even when only lining my top lid. Usually stick to high-ends brands, but tried this on a whim - thank the heavens. Is glides on without pulling and the smudger helps to soften the line. About 30 seconds after applying, it sets and resists any smudging. It lasts all day and into the night with absolutely no caking, flaking or smudging. I tire of brown and black eyeliner, so the wide range of shades are amazing - love teal, green and grey. This eyeliner has made me take a second look at other Revlon products.
Longest lasting liner 5
Dduhon from Baytown,TX
This liner truly does last 24+ hours. I put it on before my work day went out that night and woke up the next afternoon still with liner on. It didn't smear or fade at all which is really surprising considering more expensive ones didn't last more than 12 hours of my work day.

I didn't like this eyeliner I don't know if it was dry or I'm not using it right so I won't recommend it
Not bad but not the best 4
Nn from Elk Grove
I wear eyeliner almost every day and has just tried this one. It is great for the waterline but is really creamy and difficult to use on the top lid. I prefer a eyeliner pencil.
Doesn't smudge and stays long 5

Easy to apply and the liner stays long. It doesn't smudge or anything 10/10
not impressed... 1

extremely hard to use, the color came out unevenly. the smudger tool does not work the way you would want it too, and neither does the "sharpener" on the end. the texture was way too soft and it crumbles every time i try to use it or apply even a tiny bit of pressure. definetly would not recommend
I will not buy this again 1

I have always loved Revlon Colorstay eyeliner. Been using it for years. I don't know if this eyeliner came from a bad batch or what. It was so gooey like gum that I couldn't even use it. I decided to freeze it for 24 hours just to see if that would fix the problem, and it was still gooey and breaking off. Too bad my hubby threw my receipt away, and now I'm out that money. I'm so disappointed that I have to look for another brand of eyeliner, because this was my absolute favorite.

I bought the black violet color. It was super difficult to put on- dry and not very pigmented. Once it is on, it looks nice but my eyes were sore from how much I had to press to get any color payoff. Would not buy again.
Not as good as I remember 3
SC Mom from South Carolina
I used to love the Colorstay liner that was made in the early 2000s and 2010s, but they discontinued my favorite color and I moved on to a more expensive brand with a similar color. When I ran out of eyeliner, I thought I would give this another shot. Maybe I got an old one, but the pencil was dry and super waxy and the liner wore off by the end of my work day. In my memory, this was a much better product, I think it used to go on with a more creamy texture, didn't really pull your skin, and lasted all day. I returned this version.
I would give this product zero stars if I could!! 1

I would not buy this product again. It's supposed to be long lasting but was just the complete opposite
