Most Helpful Positive Review Great for oily skin I have super duper oily skin, suffer from cystic acne and often have makeup meltdowns halfway through the day. I've been using Laura Mercier (spelling???...oops) and I ran out. I usually use the Derma blend in one of the darker colors (I can't remember what it's called-Saffron, I believe)....My best friend gave me a gift card and needing a new setting powder, I swung by ULTA forgetting that only *the other retail store that has the black and white colors, because Its forbidden to type it on here*sells the Laura Mercier. Well the sales lady recommended it and it was totally worth it! Hands down both products are GREAT! if you can't get to LM setting powder, try the Dermablend. Both are of great quality but I think you get more bang for your buck Dermablend wise....my makeup sets great and I don't have to blot as often with this product like I have with other brands. My face doesn't break out and my makeup doesn't crease for at least 8-10 hours. I have super duper oily skin and if I'm not wearing makeup I'm a grease ball. I look like someone slapped me with baby oil **tear**. So I can even use this without foundation and it does help keep the shine down. But preferably I'd rather use it with a foundation. Dermablend loose powder usually last me 3-5 months depending on how often I wear it. Worth the money and definitely easy on cystic acne!
Most Helpful Critical Review Darkened my concealer For some reason or another, my under eye concealer would turn two shades darker as soon as I applied this setting powder. I tried it with different brands and kinds of concealer and the same thing happened. I know it sounds strange, but I think it happens because of an ingredient oxidizing upon application. I really wanted it to work because it felt great, but the blotchy appearance and accentuated under eye circles were not a good look.

I have oily, acne prone skin with noticeable pores. Before trying this powder I would always be unhappy with how my foundation looked no matter what foundation it was. I purchased this powder because of my sister in law and WOW. I haven't looked at another powder in over 2 years. This powder keeps my oils under control AND smooths out ANY texture on my skin. Oh, it also makes my foundation look airbrushed. I couldn't recommend this powder enough. PLEASE PURCHASE THIS YOU WONT REGRET IT.

I have combination skin. My t-zone is super oily, and the outer portion of my face is super dry. This is the ONLY powder I have tried in over 8 years that doesn't budge! My t-zone isn't oily until hour 8/9 in the summer! My dry patches never look cakey! I also use this on clients for prom, homecoming, weddings, & all other events, and it has ZERO flashback! I haven't used it on anyone that hasn't loved it! This is a MUST HAVE!!

This is my all time favorite setting powder, I've tried many others, but this one is the best! It's not too drying but it keeps everything in place all day as it should and it's good for baking too!

I've bought this powder several times. I prefer it over the pressed version. I love the "original"; it sets my makeup beautifully, especially in areas where I get oily and pores may be more visible.

This is my third or fourth time purchasing this product, it's good for oily skin but you still have to touch up through out the day. It last me a couple of months and I do wear makeup about 5 days out of the week

I liked the low Eder because it didn't feel Cakey BUT I got it in cool beige and it made my face orange so I returned it. I recommend the product, just be aware of the shade

I decided to spend more on a setting powder and I'm glad I chose this one. I have rosacea so my skin can be super touchy and this is the first powder to give me a flawless finish that's lasts all day. Not drying, looks natural, light weight. Super impressed.

Not much to say, it really is a great powder and a hefty amount. If you're traveling you might find that a lot of the product gets moved around and out of the little holes so be careful when opening it. I don't think that's a product specific issue, I've noticed it with all loose powders I've used

I've been looking for a setting powder that doesn't make me look like a ghost or an orange. I got the translucent shade in this powder and used it to set my makeup for thanksgiving. So flawless! My makeup looked the same at the end of the night as it did right after I finished applying it. Works on concealer, foundation or bare skin.

I've tried applying this product multiple different ways and it still ends up making me look cakey. It enhances all my fine lines (I'm only 32) so they're more visible and gives my skin a texture I don't like.

I'm an MUA and I used to struggle bad with flashback and "ashiness". My work would be flawless in person but then I'd catch an angle and cringe. I shopped for a new powder that I could use on a wide range of skin tones though my clientele is predominately POC; I use cool beige to set concealer on EVERYBODY, even my non POC. I am in LOVE. I will be sticking to this one for a while as well as trying the other colors. This powder is also the bomb for setting all over if need be. Worth the price.

Not a fan. Ordered this when it was on sale during the Days of Beauty sale. I can't get past the smell and allo the fall out. I was expanding out from my ride or die fenti setting powder but this just didn't go it for me. I do have to say it made my make up look flawless the few times I didn't wear it. Didn't matte my makeup down enough to where I was still tacky when I had to leave for work.

The color is perfect, the coverage is smooth and a great option for someone who uses a little concealer but not foundation. I get a nice coverage that isn't heavy or thick. Great for a quick brush over to eliminate shine throughout the day.
