It has a bit of a sent, but not so strong that it bothers me. I've purchased very expensive lipsticks that don't apply as well or last as long, and they've smelled and tasted really bad. I do have a few lip lines, especially when my skin gets dry. So far, I haven't noticed it spreading into those lines.
