HOLY SMOKESSSS! What is this magic?????? I visited Ulta to check out all the new products that were released at Ulta and this caught my eye. I bought two of the colors on an impulse buy and I'm so glad that I found these because these are absolutely amazinggggggggg. I cannot emphasize this enough how gooooood these areeeeee. I can't tell you what colors I bought since the color name is not anywhere on the product which I find a little weird but I mean that doesn't really matter too much but that is literally the only con I could list about this. This eyeshadow stick is so easy since it's a stick form. It glides on so easily and it's so creamy!!! The pigment is definitely there and the shade range is gorgeous! But what I find so magical about this product is that it doesn't budge. I'm not exaggerating whatsoever, this literally doesn't move one bit. Even if you swatch it, no matter how many times you wash your hands this doesn't move at all! The glitters even stay put which is absolutely mind-blowing to me. I tried different removers and the only thing I could find that would remove it would be an oil based remover so if you don't use oil based removers good luck getting this off. But the fact that this is so hard to remove means this lasts forever! I have very watery eyes and I yawn a lot which means a lot of rubbing my inner corners and usually whatever inner corner highlight I have is usually gone after like 2 hours in my day and it's allergy season so I'm constantly rubbing my eyes but this still did not budge one bit! It literally looks exactly the same as when I put it on.
Overall, I think this is such an amazing product with incredible staying power and has a gorgeous selection of colors to choose from. I definitely recommend this to everyone!
Happy to find this product; my HG shadow stick (another brand) is no longer available / discontinued and this seemed similar so I was excited to try it. I love the color (935? can't recall the name because it's not anywhere on the actual product) and how easy it is to apply. It goes on smooth, vibrant, and blends easily. Also seems long lasting/non creasing. It's flattering and easy to use, which is what I love about a good shadow stick. Now the cons. There are several, which is why I demoted a 5-star product to 3. First, this comes in a box, which I suppose is their attempt at looking 'upscale' except it's a drugstore brand and they did a horrible job representing the actual color of the shadow on any of the packaging; the swatches on the box aren't even close, and if you open the box and look at the tube the color isn't visible (lid is opaque black, which probably lends aesthetics, but is frustratingly impractical when trying to judge color). Many of the shades are neutral gold-tones and an actual representation would be VERY helpful in selecting an appropriate shade. The bottom of the tube is supposed to represent the color of the product, except it, too, isn't really accurate. Also, the color name, while referenced on the box, is no where on the actual product. The inability to judge the color from the packaging is irritating, so lends itself to product tampering: opening the box and taking the lid off the product (it's not wrapped) to look at the actual color and potentially damaging and/or contaminating it. Not a fan of this packaging at all. In addition, the product is very fragile/unstable (possibly from people messing with it in the store). The very first use I opened it up and the entire stick went flying out of the container and landed on my floor! It either broke or wasn't secured in the tube. Too bad because I'd like to buy more/again but I don't think I will because the packaging is so terrible.

So easy, it just glides on. I like to do all my makeup in less than 5 minutes.
I ordered this online. Liked it so much that I went in to Ulta to buy more and they were out of the colors I wanted to purchase. So order online.

Glides easily and very pigmented. I expected this to be shiny but not glittery. I had glitter everywhere for days after wearing it once. I returned.

The formula is great, it's just more the colors that make it not usable. It is glittery and intense. Mine arrived broken and the packaging looked very old, I will be returning.

Used on eyelids: very disappointed with the glitter metallic look, not for day time use & not everyone wants that look anyway. Please just offer a cream shadow with a soft satin or pearl finish please please please

Holly grail! I was looking for a dupe for the Mally cream shadows; since they dont carry them anymore. These are hands down even better. They dont budge once you apply. They are not overpriced and are good quality.

I purchased this because I love Laura Mercier Cavier Sticks, but I don't like the price! I heard these were comparable and they are! I wish there were more colors to choose from!

love this product, so easy to apply and multifunctional - use as a shadow base/primer but also works to brighten eyes and help conceal darkness

I use this product daily and it is so easy to put on. I love it.

I only use cream eyeshadows and have many different higher-end eyeshadow sticks to compare this product to. Overall the packaging feels similar to the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks, however the actual eyeahdow stick doesn't seem to be very secure in the actual packaging. Two of the three I purchased had the product loose inside the tube upon first opening, but because the packaging is snug the product is still usable as long as you keep the stick generally upright. I have three shades of these Covergirl shadows, two of the neutral mattes (905 and 910) and the dark purple shimmer (960). I absolutely -love- the matte shades and they feel as high quality as the Caviar Sticks, but they do dry down much quicker. The metallic purple shade, however, did not blend like the matte shades. Every time I try to use it it ends up looking extremely patchy. It is slightly better when used over a neutral base cream shade but it still never blends evenly and I honestly don't even use it because it looks so awful. I would probably pass on the shimmer shades but I definitely think the mattes are the best quality affordable matte shadow sticks around.

The colors I purchased were pretty on however trying to get it off in the evening was a struggle.

I use it as either an eyeshadow base or to add quick definition on the go. Lasts all day. Super easy in my travel bag.

Didn't even come out of the boxes usable. I'll attach a photo. The shadow is stuck in the cap! I bought the buy 2 get one free. Only one was usable. Just a huge miss. I'd love a budget alternative to the Laura Mercier sticks, this is not dollar store quality. Scratch that no photo option.

I absolutely love this product but unfortunately this one was defective and hopefully they will exchange it.
I love how easy this is to apply and it stays all day!

Love this color and eyeshadow. The second one I purchased the applicator wouldn't turn and it wouldn't come out...I contacted Coty and they sent me a coupon which was great. If I hold it facing down and tap it on the counter, the stick will come out but it's difficult to apply when it keeps going back in the tube. If they could fix the applicator I would buy this in every color. My favorite is 905 which is called Stuck up. I won't buy again until the applicator or tube is reconfigured.

These shadow sticks are every bit as good as some of the higher end ones. They are very easy to blend out and they last all day.

I'm in my late 40s and have fairly loose skin on my eyelids. I've given up on powder eyeshadow. These sticks let me wear eyeshadow again! Super quick to use and stays put!

My mom always wants to look beautiful but we could not find an eye shadow that was easy to put on and that would stay on. I have spent triple this amount on other brands but this Covergirl shadow stick is perfect.

I have one shadow stick purchased a few months ago that I use as my base. I wanted backups. In spite of all the less than stellar reviews I took a chance and ordered two sticks. Both came with problems, the first stick the color was smashed into the cap, the second, the stick fell out. Returned both. Cover girl, love this product, please fix this quality issue.

I purchased three colors, two light colors which were too light, dark color, ok used with a light hand; creamy, dried too fast for blending, all colors were sparkly, with fall out, and accentuated my wrinkles, therefore, I can not use.
Mimi from TX
I can apply as a think eyeliner or smudge as eyeshadow
becmack from 93245
so I purchased these to use as cream shadows.. these do NOT blend. these will work amazing as eyeliner or an unblended look, but that's it.
Dee Cee from New York City
I purchased Unruly and loved the color. I will say that this product smudges and stays put as an eyeliner, but I don't think it's great for my eyelids. Even with an eye primer this creases. Doesn't matter to me because I love the color and I prefer it as eyeliner. Comparable to the shadow stick formula of Kiko Milano, is cheaper and will make more use of CoverGirl's since the shades are more wearable for everyday use. I will say that I would like darker shades such as navy, maroon and emerald.

I was looking for a easy shadow application. THIS crumbled all over, no matter how lightly you apply it. It was hard to remove, so it does have some staying power.
NoCover from NYC, USA
I wanted to love this product, but I just don't. I tried to use it as part of a smokey eye look, but it does not blend. The only way to use it is if you want a single shadow color. When you do that, it creases horrifically.
