Most Helpful Positive Review I LOVE this product I love how light and hydrating this serum is. I don't normally have dark under eyes or bags, but when I do I reach for this. It helps decrease puffiness and darkness for a fresh awake look. I have been using this product for about a month and my skin under my eyes are much lighter, and overall more "plump" . I really like this product, the only downfall is that I had trouble with the pump the first few uses. But it works like a charm now that I've used it a few times :)
Most Helpful Critical Review Conflicted After reading reviews because I was having issues of my own with this product I'm reading it has retinol in it and that is the cause for the burning on my eye lids and sensitivity on my under eye. One reviewer said they were confused why it even contained retinol and another person said that if a product contains retinol you are to build up on using it more often. Starting out with maybe once a week then to two times a week. I used their Bare Face Beauty Cleaning Oil earlier to remove most my makeup and then used one of my Equate (i don't normally buy Equate but was low on funds) makeup remover wipe, it burned the heck out of both of my eye lids so I rinsed them with cold water. I didn't even think about looking up the ingredients haha until my boyfriend asked me if I did and it lead me to this. Glad I did, I might still try it but take the advice of the person here who said to build up on using more often. I did also purchase the E.L.F eye cream so I'll be using that in the mean time if I even can...

This eye cream is really good! You have to be careful with the other products you use on your face or it could leave to burns. You CANNOT mix Vitamin C or toners with this product. If you are educated with the other products you use on your face, this eye cream is great! I have no more puffiness or dark circles.
Bad chemical burns 1

Really disappointed in this. I've been trying to find a daily eye cream for a decent price and thought I found one. Within a week, my eyes turned bright red and they burn. Looks like I have a bad sunburn on my eyes.
I read a few reviews that says you're not supposed to use retinoids/vitamin A daily. If that's true, they need to change the name.
READ the directions people! 5

By reading the reviews it's apparent many don't know how to read directions or use retinoids. This is to be used outside of the orbital bone, NOT directly under the eye. For the fact that it contains vitamin A (retinoids) you do not want this in your eye because it WILL irritate them. On that note I am very impressed with this and noticed results in the first week. I use every other night, sometimes only 2-3 times a week and ALWAYS use their SPF moisturizer Daily Shield or Picture Perfect Day the following morning to avoid sensitivity while being outside. A great product if you use correctly!

I used this product for 2 weeks and I noticed more redness under my eyes. They were sore and whenever I applied concealer, my under eyes looked very dry! Definitely would not recommend

How to use retinols 5
PLEASE READ from Louisiana
Α lot of people are complaining of burning and flaking, which is completely normal when starting retinols, especially when not using correctly. Retinol is very strong and takes adjusting to. You can't just start off using it everyday. Start once α week for a couple weeks, then twice α week for a couple weeks, and so on. You have to work your way up until you can use it every other day.

Works very well 4

I really like this eye serum. I noticed changes almost immediately. Do be careful though, as with all retinols, you should not use them daily and should always pair them with a moisturizer. I see this is a common mistake.
Makes my skin peel and burn 2
Ashley from Philadelphia
After a few uses (morning and night) the skin under my eyes started burning, and peeling! The skin is discolored and sensitive now. I'm very unhappy with this purchase.

I should've read the reviews before I bought this. Retinol and under eyes don't mix well as this product has caused skin peeling and burning.

I used this for about 2 days before I started noticing my under eyes becoming irritated and red, after about 3 days I noticed my under eyes were sensitive and peeling.
This has Retinol 3
Angel from Arizona
Be careful, the eye area is very sensitive and I'm confused as to why this product contains any retinol. If any of you are having issues with peeling, it is because there is retinol in this product which can be harsh on the skin because it is meant to help get rid of scarring and wrinkles by forcing the skin to peel to reveal a new layer of skin. Don't let this ruin the brand for you however, they do have good products it's just not this one.

I purchased this item online. After three days of using it I developed a burning sensation under my eyes and my skin began to peel. Ive since returned this item to my local Ulta. I'm sad this item didn't work out for me. I've never had any problems using products from Formula 10.0.6 before.
