Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

I have bleached golden blonde hair with brunette low lights. This mousse majorly reduces the brassiness in my hair. I have waist length hair, so I only apply this from the mid length down. If you have fine hair like me, be careful not to use too much or it can make your hair greasy. The pros definitely outweigh the cons with this product and it does exactly what it claims.

Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

I have medium/dark brown hair with light blonde highlights. I got my highlights redone months ago, but they started to turn brassy, which I hate! After 3 uses of this product (I've only had it for a week), my highlights is noticeably less brassy and more blonde! People keep asking if I got them redone. To me, the foam does not have a noticeable fragrance.

    This definitely works

Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

I have pretty full and thick hair, also long, and it's entirely platinum blonde & I use pravana blonde shampoo. this stuff is my step 2 in my blonde treatment when I wash my hair and it workssss sister! I slather a very nice amount all over my hair right when I get out of the shower and dab off some water. i always blow dry, and my hair comes out with no brass tones @ all and no yellow tones either. This is the first product I can HONESTLY say, keeps the YELLOW discoloration OUT!! Can't believe it's so cheap!

I love love love how this mousse smells. I don't know if it works. God knows I've tried everything to help NEAUTRALIZE the brassy tones in my hair... I think the only thing that helps with that is regular salon touch ups and purple or blue shampoo.

I had black hair and went blondish. I am still happy with this little mousse.

It also made my hair a little greasy. LOL. But I love the smell!

Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

I really wanted to like this product but it just doesn't work. It doesnt take brass out and it is insanely heavy and greasy on my hair. I bought this hoping if would be a cheaper substitute for the Amika violet foam which is double the price of this product but unfortunately it's not worth the money.
I have medium-long ash blonde hair that is usually straight and dry/damaged. I also have very fine hair that is color treated. I used this product on clean damp hair as described with other products and WITHOUT other products but the end result was always the same: HEAVY AND GREASY! Like so greasy and heavy that I couldn't style my hair even with hot tools which I usually never have to do unless I truly am having a bad hair day. I also did not think it really took any brass out of my hair at all.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because 1. If it works for you, its a great value and 2. It does not stain and is easy to use. Overall, its a no for me.

          Great product

          By Yram

Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

In response to the person who left a review stating that there was human excrement in this product. The claim that this brand has somehow manages to collect human waste and added it to this foam is incredibly absurd. Urea in cosmetics, skin and hair care is laboratory made and is quite beneficial as an ingredient. I have used this product-fairly recently- and it's good, does what it claims to do. I truly think that if you're going to leave a 1 star review without having tried the product, you should state so.

Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

I think it's funny that the second and third ingredients are a petroleum based fuel and basically human excretion. Butane is bad for the environment and bad for human health. Putting excretion on your head is just gross and weird. Also why won't it let me write this review using the word u- r- i- n- e- ??

Comments about Eva Nyc Tone it Down! Blonde Leave-In Foam:

I originally bought this because of the smell of this line. It's truly the neatest product. I love using it for the times I shampoo my hair but don't use a purple shampoo. It's so lightweight and absorbs into your hair quickly.

              Hi B,

We do recommend using on wet hair, so that you gain the best results when it comes to the deep conditioning and strengthening of hair. It is also easier to distribute on damp hair. However, some of our customers do still use it on dry hair when they have their no-wash days!

              Hey girl,

You can use it as soon as right after, depending on how you want to upkeep the blonde. Some people use it everyday to keep their natural blonde neutralized, but other start once ther color starts getting more brassy with washing.

As long as you have some blonde towards the end, it will help reduce brass and nourish your hair. If your lightest blonde is pretty dark, it the amount of brass reduction won't be as visible as if it were a light or platinum blonde.
