Don't like this

By Liz

from San Diego CA

Comments about Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water:

The design of the bottle was a good concept but badly executed. When I press down to soak my cotton pad sometimes it goes through the cotton pad and leaves black streaks on my bathroom walls which I have to clean off ugh. I think it takes off my makeup pretty well but it leaves my skin sticky so I wash my face and then just the residue leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I give it 2 starts cause it takes off my makeup well but it has so many other problems it's not worth it

I love this micellar water! I have dry sensitive skin and this product works fantastic with my skin type. It takes off my makeup and doesn't dry out my skin in doing so. I do have to use 2 pads to take off all my makeup but that doesn't bother me I like to make sure I have all makeup off. I love the smell of this product its not floral it just smells fresh.

I really love this product. It has a nice smell and feel nice on the skin. I feel like my face is clean after I use it. I have used some other micellar water and I feel like it leaves a weird residue on my skin and this one doesn't.

      Not good

Comments about Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water:

Really disappointed in this. It doesn't do a good job in removing makeup at all. I do like the pump, but the actual solution isn't great.

Comments about Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water:

This is the worst micellar water I've ever used. It doesn't remove makeup, it smells absolutely awful, and it leaves your skin feeling so gross. You can feel that you attempted to clean your skin but didn't get all your makeup or oiliness off

        Bad packaging, clogged pores

Comments about Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water:

The charcoal powder sinks to the bottom, and I get that there isn't anything they can do about that. however, the fact that it is in a pump with a long tube means that even when you shake it, you don't get any of the charcoal unless you manually drain the pump straw every time. Even Still, I noticed my pores clogging and my skin being dried out. I do, however, have a sensitivity to tomatoes and micellar waters in general, but I feel like nobody talks about the clogging potential of these oil-infused waters. It removed my makeup very well, however, and did not leave a black residue, just as they advertised.

The cap took me forever to open. I feel like its going to break at any moment. The product is ok I guess but I'm so frustrated that it really doesn't matter what the actual product does because I hate using.

Comments about Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water:

I was a bit skeptical of this product from reading some of the negative online reviews, but I am so happy that I went to my local Ulta and picked it up anyways! My sensitive skin is oily in the T-Zone, which is then surrounded by dry patches, and I have a bit of an issue with blackheads/larger pores. When used in conjunction with an exfoliating face wash and a foam cleanser, this stuff works wonders for my skin. It moisturizes and soothes the dry patches, my oiliness is reduced, and it draws out a lot of impurities from my skin. I have not tried to use it as a makeup remover just yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so. However, my one and only stipulation with this product is the semi-sticky feeling I get on my skin after using it - but that does subside after 5 to 10 minutes. Overall, I think this is a great product to use for people who have combination skin. Love!

Comments about Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water:

Really wanted to love this products, and I'm still trying to give it a chance. You have to make sure to really be careful where you place your cotton ball, or the applicator shoots out product. After you while your face down you're left with black streaks everywhere. I have to use a makeup wipe before and after use which seems wasteful. But it didn't lessen the grease around my t-zone.
