Most Helpful Positive Review Gorgeous, natural finish I've been trying to simplify my skin care and makeup routines to find products that do the most for me with the least amount of steps. In particular, I've been looking for a sunscreen with enough of a tint to help even out my skin but without looking cakey (especially considering the amount you should be applying to get effective sun protection). This seems to be it for me! It's a super thin, watery consistency that gets absorbed into my skin easily. It sets down to a really pretty satin finish with a tiny bit of spot concealing, my skin looks healthy and glowy.
I have really only two issues with this product, though neither is major enough for me to stop using it. One is the shade range. I use the tinted light/medium shade and it is a little too dark for me. It is sheer, so it doesn't look super questionable, but I definitely have to be conscious of making sure it's well blended down my neck/chest (and hey, that area needs sunscreen too so it's fine). For reference, my best foundation match is Fenty 150. I'm definitely light but if you're any fairer than that, I wouldn't suggest the tinted formula. I haven't seen the medium/dark in person but the product photos look almost identical. My hope is that it is sheer enough to still blend out for deep skin tones but my gut says that's probably not the case. I would love to see them come out with *at least* two more shades, at either end of the spectrum.
The other issue is the packaging. I know they've changed the packaging in the last year or so but this is still a miss. First is that it's in a glass bottle. I know it "feels" luxury, but it's fragile. I can just picture the day this shatters in my makeup bag and the causes a huge mess. I'm also terrified of the bottle accidentally getting bumped or tipped over. I wish the opening of the bottle had a stopper like a lip gloss or mascara tube. I know that wouldn't completely prevent spills but it would certainly slow them if that were to happen
Most Helpful Critical Review Not good for skin with visible pores I will be returning this. Got it in light.medium which was a good match in terms of it blending into my skin, but I used it on just one half of my face after washing to see how it looked compared to my bare skin. It immediately made me look very "wet" - did not feel greasy but was no where near matte even with me having shaken it up well, and continued to look that way after it had plenty of time to dry down. It sat in all of the pores on my nose and cheeks, making them look larger. I also bought the one with no tint, but since the ingredients appear to be the same other than the tint part, I will just return that one without opening.

Great for everyday! Gives you a polished look without makeup. New Fav❤️
Didn't like it 3
Mari from Gurnee,IL
I tried this and I didn't like it. It's not the worst sunscreen but it's not the best. I have dry skin, this dried my skin so if you have dry skin I don't recommend. Also, I didn't like the smell it was weird. When I had to reapply it looked terrible
Great for layering 5
Luna Mora from Chicago
I layer this over my favorite sunscreen, the Aveeno Positively Mineral Sensitive Skin Milk SPF 40. It provides light coverage, which is perfect for me now that I've decided to ditch makeup altogether and focus primarily on skincare. I use the darkest shade and even though it's a bit too neutral for me, I top it off with a light dusting of mineral powder on a shade that's closer to my skin color and it looks flawless. I have oily skin and I have learned to embrace it. This does not make me oilier. I've always needed to blot by midday, so no changes there. All in all this is a great mineral sunscreen for daily use, instead of foundation. I plan to continue repurchasing.

Exactly what I was looking for!!!! 5

I love this product. I am extremely picky when it comes to texture, non-irritating ingredients, as someone that is cystic acne prone. I really wanted something I could add to a moisturizer to have control over the coverage. What I've learned as my first bottle is nearing the end (I will be purchasing again for sure) Is it looks best on top of everything else. I get out of the shower in the morning, put on whatever serum, and my facial moisturizer. If you want to be really diligent I use a clear mineral sunscreen and mix it in my moisturizer. Then as the icing on top for a little coverage I add about 10 drops to my fingertips and rapidly spread and blend it in while tapping around my nose. I find that it mattifies just enough to keep me from getting as oily throughout the day while still looking with a healthy glow. I would consider the coverage to be light to medium, but does a perfect job at being undetectable while evening some red spots or left over blemishes. I've also used it as a concealer where if I want a little more courage on a blemish I put a tiny bit on my finger and just pat it into a spot and it fades away. I genuinely have never written a review before but I want to support this smaller brand and say TWO THUMBS UP!
Great! 4

Nice light weight sunscreen for my face. Prefer this for a non makeup day. Since it dries matte, I felt it was making me drier with make up over top. Also it has a slight white cast. Which I expected.
Blends into skin perfectly-very lightweight! 5
Kat from Texas
This is the best facial sunscreen I have ever used. I have very sensitive skin and needed a physical sunscreen that did not leave my face looking "white", oily. or irritated. The MyChelle Liquid SunShield is incredible. I chose the light color and it blends seamlessly into my skin. No white cast. No irritation. My skin looks completely natural with a nice glow. The tint looks like the color "griege" and I was worried when I first saw it...but it miraculously melts into my skin and matches PERFECTLY. I love this product and I rarely feel that way about most skincare products. I will buy this again and I hope the formula never changes. I'm very happy and satisfied with it.
Awesome!!! 5
Candice from Fairhope,al
This is the best I have used under makeup! it is NOT greasy. AND I have used EVERYTHING! The people that is saying that it is leaving a cast on their face needs to order thr darker shade. I use the light/med shade and I wear Fresco in Estee Lauder etc etc.
This sunscreen is so lightweight. Most sunscreens are too heavy under makeup. This stuff is awesome and if it is like the Mychelle product that I have used in the past like the pumpkin peel and etc, you all need to start carrying it
Pills and leaves a white cast 2
Caitlin from Providence, RI
Sun protection seems fine. I'm pretty fair and the product leaves a pretty bad white cast, even on me. It also seems to pill pretty badly. I expected better, especially given the price.
Not good for Oily/Combination skin 2
Rachel from Seattle, WA
I was super excited to try out this sunscreen since I have tried so many and none of them seemed to work for me. There were so many good reviews but for me this sunscreen was terrible. I bought the non-tinted one and it left a white cast on my skin that was really noticable. Maybe if I had bought the tinted one I would have liked it better. Also, as I rubbed it in the formula seemed to clunk up into little balls all over my skin. Since, I have oily skin this sunscreen made me seem even more oily. The formula went on oily and felt extremely greasy on my skin.
Great product 5

This is a great product. I was concerned it would be too dark but blends nicely
I bought two more bottles!!! 5

I bought this in a whim, it works great in my combo skin. Mattifies my skin and keeps me looking fresh all day. When it wears off it's seamless! Bought two more bottles!
Mineral sunscreen awesome 5
Becca from Prescott Az
Daily, mineral sunscreen is the best, love this brand.
Rub it in well! 4
Mplsmua from MN
I ordered this in no color because I don't trust a tint will match my skin. The consistency is very thin and it applies fairly well, however, you must BLEND the edges or it leaves white demarcation lines. I thought I had it blended in but a friend said it left a line. Also, it seems to dry pretty quickly, so work fast.
Great for everyday wear 4
Watelz from Alabama
I purchased the untinted version and at first was applying it incorrectly so I was left looking like a ghost. When applying this sunscreen I would warm it up in my hands for at least ten seconds, and then pat it into my skin. There was still a white cast, but not as bad. Overall, it was a very nice experience. I have very itchy and reactive skin and this sunscreen always soothed it. I would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have to apply a separate sunscreen when doing any outside activity.
Best sunscreen ever! 5
Katie from USA
I have very sensitive and fair skin so I've been looking for awhile for a sunscreen I can use everyday. Most sunscreens I've tried either leave a white cast, feel super oily, or leave my face super shiny, but not this one! It rubs in super easily and leaves a nice matte finish that I'm in love with! The dropper applicator can get a little messy but if you just dispense it onto your fingers first you should be good. This is definitely going to be my new go to sunscreen!
its good for makeup days. i love this stuff! 5
sgonzalez from los angeles
i use it under my makeup and its not oily and doesnt mess with the makeups formula. its my favorite spf for when I use makeup. very light weight i use my regular skin care beneath as well. tried others but they made me oily or messed with the foundation. i cant say enough good things about it. also its EGW approved for those who care about ingredients. i opted for the non tinted but might try the tinted in the future. on non makeup days I wear the cream version that comes in the tube. also, the price is good. love it.
I Love It! 5

After some research, I decided to try this mineral sunscreen and I'm glad that I did! I went with the light/medium tint as I fall perfectly in between with neutral undertones. Be prepared...this is a thin liquid but I enjoyed that aspect of it because it made it easy to rub in easily. The tint will linger on your hand but it was easy to wipe or rinse off. There is ZERO greasy feeling to this and once it settles, it leaves you with a somewhat powdered looking finish. It also toned down some of the redness around my blemishes but did not cover them up entirely. Due to the fact that I am oily in the t-zone and have pores around my nose, I took some translucent powder and pressed it into my problem areas with a blending sponge and I haven't had any oils, grease or shine poking through since applying. It doesn't feel heavy at all and I'm kicking myself for not finding this sooner. As far as the effectiveness for keeping me covered from sun exposure...I probably will not know until my later years (I'm 27).
Where has this been all my life?!? 5
Amazing from Los Angeles
I got shade medium/dark. I am a shade neutral medium or medium neutral beige. This is a tad too dark for me but with powder my skin tone it works out. I don't get oily or greasy. I'm usually sensitive to spf but this one doesn't break me out. Coverage is light but enough to even skin tone. Such a beautiful product. Been using it everyday.
I would buy this SPF again 4
Cheryl from MA
I like to wear this over another clear SPF with no makeup. It has the perfect amount of coverage to wear with just under eye concealer. I'm not a fan of the dropper applicator.
Love this 5
Smokeyy from Michigan
It does everything it says, it's mattifying, evens out your skin tone, easy to apply, and it's not heavy at all. I bought both shades. the light/ medium was too light for me so I gave it too a friend and he loves it too!
Bought the darkest color... 4
Bbbbbianca from SinCity
I'm Black and Mexican and have been hunting for a really nice natural spf that doesn't look like makeup or leave a white cast on my golden skin (love Bare Minerals tinted moisture) so I gave this a shot.
It still made me grey. 🙃
I mixed it with a body lotion and will use it as a daily spf till it runs out.
love it 5
carabear11 from mn
This is the perfect mineral spf for oily skin. I am oilier in the summer so it's great, not sure if I will be able to use in winter when I'm drier. I have the untinted and light tint. I mix them for a better match for my fair skin. The untinted smells oddly like raw potato, the tinted does not. I'm acne prone and have had no issues. I'd buy again!
I mostly like it - prob won't repurchase 4
CassieO from Florida
The consistency and feel of this is very similar to Skinceuticals Physical Fusion. ( a little more runny ) SC has been my HG and I am on the hunt for something similar that's available local to me. However, since the price per ounce is higher for this product AND the application is messy with the dropper, which would make it difficult to carry around and reapply as necessary, I probably won't repurchase. But I'll definitely use every drop of this bottle!
The best skin tint 5
Car from Texas
Keep in mind this IS a skin tint so it is sheer but you can definitely use it under make up. The consistency is watery so be careful when you apply it. it does not cover acne scars but it does a wonderful job in making your skin look a beautiful healthier version of itself. Upon application, it blends beautifully and melts into the skin. It also stays put and does not get greasy through out the day and I have acne prone/ combo skin. This also did not break me out which is a plus. I love this so much, will definitely be purchasing this again and recommending to friends.
