How to Use

Starting at the root of your lashes, hold the Tightline Slim Wand horizontally, then wiggle and sweep the brush up and through your lashes from the very base through to the tips. For a more dramatic look, add additional coats. Can be worn alone or under mascara for a more visible eyeliner effect. Lightly and gently press the Tightline Slim Wand along the root of your lash line filling in the gaps between your lashes, move along the entire upper lash line for a beautiful Tightline eye liner effect.

Beauty tips: To create the Tightline eye liner effect, gently press the Ultra-Skinny Wand along the root of your lashes filling in the gaps between your lashes. Move along the entire upper and lower lash line to complete this look!

I use my other hand to gently pull up the eyelid. Place tool directly on lash line. Twirl the tool while it is on the lashline. Wait a few seconds to let dry. For bottom lashes, hold tool on top of lash line. Twirl tool on the lash line. Allow a few seconds to dry. Use tool as you would mascara on the bottom lashes as soon as your tighline is dry. I do not use it as mascara for the top lashes.( The product is too expensive to waste it and use as a mascara on the top lashes.) Use mascara and coat your top lashes, and also on your bottom lashes. If you have a steady hand, you can use the tip of the tool and dot more product in between your lashes at your lash line. Allow to dry. To call the product a primer is misleading. It is a little thinner than try mascara, more like a gel. Prior to this product, I Tightline with liquid eyeliner. This tool is genius. Practice on a day when you do not have plans as it takes a few tries perfect the technique. Once you tightline, it will become part of your make up routine. Do a before and after pic. The difference is measurable. I am 50. My daughter started tightling the day she asked me if I had on false lashes. Watch some how to videos if you would like a visual. Hope this helps with any confusion.Most Helpful Critical ReviewWhat changed?Did IT Cosmetics change the formula of this mascara? I bought a tube a year ago, and it was perfect. I love the tiny brush and it provided nice, natural coverage without clumping. It didn't smudge or flake and nicely fanned-out my lashes. When it was time to reorder, the waterproof version was not available on any website, so I ordered the regular version. It was okay, but I have watery eyes, so it would sometimes smudge. I used another tube of the regular version, because once again, the waterproof was out of stock. This time, it clumped, flaked, and the tube dried out quickly. I finally was able to purchase the waterproof mascara again, and it is horrible. By mid-day, my face is covered in tiny mascara flakes, and to make it worse, I wear contacts so the flakes get under my lenses. The first version of the mascara was amazing, but something has changed and it is absolutely one of the worst flaking mascara I have ever used now.
