Most Helpful Positive Review Silky Soft! I had been looking for a new clear gloss to keep my lips glossy and moisturized(I have suuuuper dry lips) and I found this at the NYX store. Holy moly....it smells sooo yummy and it feels incredible. Very silky and not sticky. It's one of those products that I now can't live without. It's got a very very light pink tint to it. My ONLY complaint is that you have to be careful with where you store it. Because I started to carry it with me everywhere I would toss it from one purse to the other and it completely busted open in my purse....The plastic packaging isn't as durable as it looks. That won't deter me from buying it, just a lesson learned.

I love NYX makeup, I dig their brand, the low prices, the selection is INSANE, but this product just disturbed me. Let's begin with the immediate impression. The applicator is this weird flat applicator, which would be okay, except this "lip oil" didn't stick to the bristle things AT ALL. So then you go to put it on, applicator or not, if the product works, who cares right? Except one problem, the oil dried my lips out instead of doing anything else?! Also, when I think lip oil, I'm thinking like liquidy, this is thick, like a gloss. It also smells and tastes AWFUL. Now before people throw shade at tasting it, it's not like I stuck the applicator in my mouth, but when you have a gloss on your lips, you rub your lips together and bam, a little gets on your taste buds and game over.
Maybe I was just the one in a million person that hated this product, personally if you're looking for something shinny and nourishing, just get a vasaline lip product, it works like a charm, and lasts longer.

This lip oil was gifted to me and I immediately fell in LOVE!!! I love this SOO MUCH! It is super effective and it kept my lips very moisturized in the summer and I live in the desert!

For the price, this is an excellent lip oil. It's not sticky at all and feels lightweight, but it isn't the most moisturizing and absorbs quickly. The smell isn't bothersome, and the tint in the purple isn't visible. I really enjoy it for an everyday lip oil

I find myself having to reapply this nyx #thisiseverything lip oil several times throughout the day, which is fine because it's an oil after all. However, I haven't noticed any huge benefits of moisture or hydration that a regular lip balm couldn't provide. IMO it's on the more expensive side for what it claims to do

I apply on top of my lip stain for a glossy look. It is a thicker formula that sometimes causes the dry skin to peel off the lips.

This lip oil leaves such a nice finish on the lips. I later it 2-3 times and it never gets sticky. It smells nice. I find that if I'm dehydrated this doesn't make my lips feel as moisturized.

I liked this lip oil at first but as I kept using it I noticed it dried my lips out so badly that they were sore from all of the cracking. The drier my lips got, the more I applied the oil and the worse it became. Finally bought some Aquaphor and my lips instantly felt relieved. I don't know what is wrong with this lip oil.

I have 3 of the colors (sheer, sheer pink, sheer purple) and I love them so much.
They are so comfortable, not sticky, not gloopy, not at all like the awful lip glosses from the early 2000's that put me off lip gloss until now.
I use them both alone and as a topper for lipsticks, and they work so well as both.
If you were them under a mask, you won't have too much rub off, which considering they're gloss, is pretty amazing.

I bet you've seen those photos on tiktok or Instagram or Facebook of these girls with those shiny gloss lips. Well, I think this is it! It looks amazing on me and my hubby agrees would recommend! I'm 26 so I don't know how it would look on older women

Love how this adds just a pinch of pink to my lips and feels a little moisturizing. But oh I could not stand the taste of cherry cough drop. Also I didn't think this had much oil.

It is my go to lipgloss since I first tried it about 2 years ago. It goes on smoothly & has the right amount of shine. Also adds right amount of moisture to your lips. I love the fact that it doesn't feel heavy on your lips. Highly recommended

I never thought a lip product that wasn't a liquid lipstick could dry out my lips. But this definitely did it. A normal $1 lipstick will have more moisture than this. I understand we all have different preferences. But if your lips are generally dry I don't recommend this at all. 2 stars cause the color is cute and I liked the lightweight texture.

I bought sheer sky blue. Subtle color non sticky. I didn't get any taste ( wasn't really trying too) but no smell very smooth. My lips love it!

I purchased the blue color and it smells nice, not too strong, and it helps tone down brighter base colors, which I like when going for a more muted effect. It is an oil and will absorb, therefore regular reapplication is necessary to maintain. Would repurchase.
