Most Helpful Positive Review My Favorite Foundation...EVER!!!
For years I was searching for a foundation that actually matched me and I found this a little over a year ago and I fell IN LOVE with it! It's so pigmented and just lays beautifully on every skin color (I also work for Ulta so I shade match this A LOT). My recommendation for primers would be the Hangover primer by Too Faced because I will tell you one thing: if you have really dry skin like I do, this foundation MUST have a moisturizing primer. Like seriously moisturizing. No serums or primers with silicone. For starters, it doesn't stick well with silicones and honestly, most silicone primers aren't good because they give your makeup a perfect surface to slip off of. Because of this foundation's matte finish and drying effect, having a moisturizing primer, even if your skin tends to be on the combination to slightly oily side, it helps counteract the matte finish and gives you a full coverage matte look without a cakey feeling or the scaling dry skin effect. Also, this foundation will work as a more natural foundation with very little product. For full coverage, maybe three pumps. But I used to use four and that was too much and I ended up wasting product. For a light look, no more than one and a half. And even that can be too much because it really is meant to be full coverage. But if you are looking for something that can be somewhat of an in between, this will work for you. And lastly, set it with powder! If you want it to last, it will if you use a moisturizing primer (if your oily and have big pores, Benefit's Porefessional works wonders. It's not super moisturizing so it might do you good to combine the Hangover and Porefessional because again, YOU NEED A MOISTURIZING PRIMER) and a good setting powder. I personally like the Dermablend translucent loose setting powder, but for those with beautiful dark complexions, I recommend the Cover FX loose setting powder. But starting off well and ending well will make this foundation work like a dream on your skin!
Most Helpful Critical Review Still disappointed....why try to fix what wasn't broken?
After a few months of giving the Teint Idole Ultra 24H a chance, I'm still just as upset as the first time I tried it - this foundation is a disaster. I am a long time devoted wearer of the previous, perfect Teint Idole 14 Hour formula. The prior 14 hour formula was absolutely fantastic, I'd never experienced a more perfect foundation, the holy grail. It provided flawless, full coverage that somehow felt light yet covered my large pores. I was astounded when Lancome replaced it with this horrific 24Hour spackle that doesn't even resemble the prior formula. This 24 Hour foundation is heavy, sticky, sinks into pores and emphasizes them, and what's most startling is that it doesn't last as long as the 14 H formula! It is more difficult to blend even after trying different methods, it makes no difference, it's not even comparable to the prior formula. I tried several different shades to most closely match my beloved 14 H and found one that was fine. But this new 24H formula is so disappointing, my face just doesnt look the same. Ok, seems a little silly to be so frustrated about a foundation, but truly this new formula took away a foundation that was tried, true, and dependable. Now my search continues and I will have to look beyond Lancome. PLEASE bring back the previous formula that , from other reviews, apparently many, many other women dearly miss as well!

I luv this it's matte, doesn't settle into lines and stays on better than other brands, I finally found something that works! I tried Clinique and didn't like it but I wore naked skin for yrs and it was okay but jus not as gud as my new Lancôme, i am going to stick with this one as long as they keep making it! Thx Lancôme😊#495w

I dont think I have ever ran into a problem like this with foundations. So I work with a lot of different foundations in various shades because I am a makeup artist and work with a lot of different complexions and I am of darker complexion myself. Now, you would think the same foundation would have the same formula throughout EVERY SHADE. Not With this foundation. Let me explain if u still lost. I picked up some samples at Ulta a while back for this founation, about a year ago... Now the shade I picked up was not for me, it was for a client. However, the product had a moussey-creamy like texture that I was in love with. Not having touched the sample since then, I went and got some samples in various shades, to work with, even trying to find my own shade. However these samples I picked up had an EXTREMELY watery consistency that I did not like at all. Out of curiousity (because it has been some time since I last used the other sample,) I tested them side by side to see if I was just tripping. Not at all.!! The consistency is very watery and I was not aware of a formula change of LancomeTIU,.. But I went and bought the full sized product in my own shade yesterday to give it another shot (Thinking Maybe I had a bad batch of a sample.) And I am noticing the same watery consistency that I hated from the sample!!! but the wierd thing is it is only on certain shades.! This is very confusing because you would expect a product formula to be the same throughout all shades, but either Lacome has had a secret foundation formula change, or there are really formula inconsistencies throughout the shade range.! For reference, I have tried 560sue, 510 sue, 455, and 460 Sue w. I Will be returnning this full sized bottle as this new formula is NOT full coverage like it used to be, or Lancome has some really bad noticable formula inconsistencies. I will stick to Nars, as I do not not expect this type of performance from a highend brand like Lancome. Bring back the old
Not for me.

My skin is on the oilier side. I decided to invest in some good makeup for myself and searched for a full-coverage, long-lasting makeup that would stay put under a mask and not leave me looking greasy by the end of the day. I found this one and was pretty excited to try it! Unfortunately it make my skin VERY dry, to the point that it hurt to even use a gentle wipe to get it off. I couldn't wash my face for a few days because it was just way too dry- I was GLOBBING lotion onto my face, which is something I never pictured myself needing to do for any reason (like I said, naturally oily skin). With the dryness, it made my skin look kind of patchy/scaly too. It is definitely a nice makeup but as I said up top, it's just not the one for me. Based on other reviews, it sounds like this works well for plenty of other people. I will say that the color matched very well to my skin tone and it seemed like there would be a shade to fit anyone!
Buying again but from a differ location

A day before going on a trip I had sent my husband to buy me a new bottle of my favorite foundation. His experience at the store was great but it wasn't until this trip that I noticed that they had sold him and expired bottle of foundation.

This foundation is one of the ONLY I've found that has a shade that actually matches my skin. It feels very light on the skin but it's buildable which I love. I would highly recommend, I wear it to work almost every day and the bottle usually lasts me about 2-3 months.
My favorite go to when I'm willing to spend the cash

This foundation is amazing. I have really dark circles under my eyes with pale olive toned skin, and this does the trick. I don't need to wear concealer with this foundation. Feels light on my skin, lots of shades to choose from and doesn't break me out. A+!!

This is the best foundation. I normally wear Neutrogena for daily, but it is a little dark. A lady at the store was able to tell me the color without trying it on.
The best foundation I've used !

I use the shade 260 Bisque N. I am light to medium skin tone with neutral undertones and this matches me perfectly. I love that it dries down and stays for a long time. A little goes along way has been the trick for me to keep the foundation looking natural and not cakey. I've used too faced born this way, Lorac, Estée Lauder doublewear foundations and this is my absolute favorite! It feels like you are wearing nothing. Lancôme products are the best and this one does not disappoint! If you have dry skin like me, make sure to use Lancôme's hydrate and prep primer in the pink tube so that your dry skin is hydrated! With any matte foundation, dry skin needs to be very moisturized. I hope Lancôme never gets rid of this.

I have been purchasing this foundation for over 5 years now. It will always be one of my holy grails. I love it during the summer months and winter months. I have combo skin and this foundation has a beautiful finish, without leaving me super oily nor super dry. It is very light weight and lasts all day long. Will continue to repurchase.
Only foundation for acne prone skin!
Lisa from Pittsburgh PA
By far the best foundation for my acne prone skin. I've tried almost every brand out there. After spending lots and lots of money I have realized Lancôme is the only one that doesn't irritate my skin. There's also no shine even after waitressing all day.

Great product, helps a lot with dryness skin & with this heat, it doesn't break down.

My daughter brought this but got the wrong shade. She gave it to me and I love it! I am buying some now for myself. I have uneven, fair skin and this is perfect.
Rachel from Lafayette, LA
My absolute favorite foundation. Nothing compares to it, for me. Price tag is high, but so worth it. It's a necessity in my daily routine. Doesn't sweat off and lasts all day!
i love this foundation superlight weight and buildable cover

This was a suggestion so I am trying it out as a medium to full foundation look. They have a lot of shades and I find I am a hard shade to match. So far it's a great foundation as far as the quality compared to the price.
Excellent coverage and can even be used as a concealer.
Nana from Vienna,WV
I use this as a foundation but it can also double as a concealer under another color if you are applying it heavily.
Sadly it arrived outdated. Ulta rotate you products.

I love this product, I've been waiting a long time to get another bottle. It goes on smoothly and velvety and covers my sun spots well Without looking caked on. And I love the pump bottle!
My Absolute Fav!
Hapbad13 from Birmingham, AL
This is by far my favorite foundation overall. I have super oily skin and this stuff lasts longer than any other foundation I've tried. It's full coverage but doesn't feel heavy on the face. It's usually matte all day for my 8 hour shift until about late evening, but I have blotting sheets. Only thing I don't like is sometimes it tends to rub off easily when I touch my nose or something but it's not terrible.
Tiff from TX
This is my favorite foundation ever! I've tried so many and none have worked. I did use Estée Lauder double wear but they have changed their formula. This stays on all day and I don't get cakey or patchy.
My favorite foundation EVER!
Redheaddeb from Roswell, GA
I'm very pale, which I could never match with other makeup; I have pink undertones; #90 Ivoire is perfect! It's great for combination skin but may not be the best for very dry skin (water based). With a primer, it's bulletproof!

If you have the slightest bit of dry skin or lines/wrinkles on your face, DO NOT BUY THIS!! I really really wanted to love this foundation. The color was beautiful and the texture really does feel like skin, but this foundation set and creased on my face and made my skin look scaly. I've tried with a primer, without a primer. Terrible!! I'd recommend this for someone with normal to oily, but deff not dry skin.
It lasts! Magic I did know existed!
Amber from Peoria, IL
I received a sample of 220 c and now I'm buying the full size. I normally wear IT cosmetics which is fantastic but it doesn't stay on like this does. I have combo skin with my t zone being pretty oily. This literally does not transfer and stays on all day. Even Through wearing a mask. I'm 40 for reference, this stuff is magic!
This foundation is ok.
Lisa from Salisbury, NC
Hello, I applied this foundation with a damp beauty sponge (Dose of Colors). This foundation is ok. I didn't like it because it oxides into a darker color after applying. This finish was good, it's a skin-like matte. It's ok, not great. I feel like a better version of this foundation is the Estée Lauder Double Wear, which doesn't oxides, stays and wears great on the skin throughout the day.
Not a fan
Sharon from Louisville
It just did not look true to its color.
Petunia from CT
I thought it would be a better product since it is Lancome. It stays on face longer while wearing a mask.
