Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Mattifying Lotion:

I love this product for days where your skin might be a bit oily. it's a light moisturizer that delivers effective hydration without making skin shiny. I use a nickel sized amount and add two drops of the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Daily Solution and apply to face and neck. I do use a heavier moisturizer at night but this is great if you're going make-up free or trying to control oil under your make-up.

This isn't the most moisturizing lotion but I'd prefer that over something that is too oily. This blends into skin easily and has helped with my acne.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Mattifying Lotion:

I got this lotion as part of a set and it really completes my daily routine. But just be aware that less is more. if you have oily skin like me and use more than a pea-sized amount it will make your skin greasy and oily all day. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I'm ok with it, that just means the tube lasts longer,

I bought this to help with my oily acne prone skin and it makes my skin feel so tight. I would rather go without lotion after cleansing than put this on. I also did not notice any help with my acne.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Mattifying Lotion:

Okay so obviously anything that mattefies your skin is going to dry it out and if your skin gets very dry it gets irritated and acne comes up. If you are severely sensitive and also dry why would you use this? It's the same with volumizing shampoo if you have very dry hair you don't want to use this because it strips it more to make it fluffier.

That being said I have very dry skin but also my nose is incredibly oily and my forehead gets oily too under makeup. I use this on my nose and a tiny bit on my forehead before primer and foundation it works amazing! Tried it out all over my skin tonight and it is VERY tight and feels really bad but that's because I have dry skin! So this is a spot treatment lotion for me on only my oily parts. It also shrinks my nose pores!!

If you are greasy like a pizza you will do well with this or live somewhere hot but if you're dry only use it on parts that aren't dry because it will not moisturize it

My skin is very sensitive. I use H2O plus as a normal hydrating cream because their stuff is for my skin. I bought the tea tree oil cleanser which is why I also bought the moisturizer. This made me developed under the skin small pimples everywhere. It did moisturize as needed but at a cost for my skin. It did a lot of tingling going on but I thought that was apart of it. I used it 3x and after that 3rd time I started to breakout. I don't use it anymore and those pimple are slowly clearing up.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Mattifying Lotion:

I have light to moderate acne especially when I'm closer to my period I get cystic acne. I bought this stuff because I currently use tea tree essential oils to spot treat problem areas.

Some people might be sensitive to the smell of tea tree oil, it is a strong smell, but I Iove it. I love putting it on my face every morning before I put on my make-up. It reminds me of the smell of toothpaste and it energizes me in the morning. The product itself provides a calming effect to my skin, feels clean, is non-irritating, and goes on smooth. It also absorbs into the skin quickly. I wear a moisturizer under the primer sometimes depending if I need it that day. I have no problems with the use of this primer. I'll be purchasing their other Tea Tree oil line products.

I have combo/oily skin and I noticed my oils aren't as out of control after using this. Also I'm noticing that my breakouts have calmed down. I do wish there was more product but I wouldn't mind buying again.
