Most Helpful Positive Review Great for acne
I broke out on my chin for 3 weeks. My friends suggested using African black soap and tea tree oil, and it worked! My chin cleared up within 3 days. I washed my face with the soap, then applied two drops of tea tree oil onto my acne. The pimples shrunk and became less red overnight.
Most Helpful Critical Review Works okay
I love the way it made my skin feel. It was a little burn at first but after regular use it was just a clean tingly feeling. It helped my cystic acne heal faster but not a huge difference. I found a bottle of pure tea tree oil that is 3x the size and cheaper. It cleared my skin and prevents break outs much better. I just get a cotton pad wet (to dilute it) put some tea tree oil on it and wipe on my face. The pure tea tree oil feels and works much better than this product.

This product works wonders on blemishes and on any new acne outbreaks. I was recently told by a professional piercer that it can also be used on piercings that are healing.

The only thing that kind of sucks about it is the smell but other than that it is very refreshing and painless and works like a charm. I use it on my face too , it helps with my dark spots as well
Good Spot Treatment for Blemish-prone Skin
ckchiang from NJ
This product has helped me with my acne, I am noticing after a couple of days a slight decrease in acne on my forehead but everything else has stayed the same. The small bottle also lasts a long time, especially if you are using it as a spot treatment. My only concern with this product, after doing more research is that there contains fragrance which may be skin sensitizing if you have sensitive skin and as I'm working to make my skincare routine fragrance free I won't be purchasing this again. Tea tree oil is also an essential oil which you are directly applying to your skin and even though it's diluted I would be careful if you have sensitive skin. Also, since it's natural and plant-derived, this product will break down in sunlight and so I use this at night and store it in a cabinet. Overall, I think that this product can be skin sensitizing if you have sensitive skin, as my redness in my face has gone up, and so if you have sensitive skin I recommend The Body Shop's aloe line as it's all fragrance-free!
it really does work

the only tree tea oil that helps with my spots!!
Oil for Oily Skin...YES!!
Stoked from Southern California
I was a little skeptical about buying this because I have oily skin and am prone to getting acne even if I dot. Put any makeup on and wash religiously. I bought this in desperation of breaking out from wearing a mask early on, during the pandemic. I had heard good things about this and wanted to try it. I'm so glad I did. It has definitely been helping prevent new problems and helped with problem areas I already had. Definitely recommend.

I had high hopes for this product but this tea tree oil didn't do much for me. I haven't seen any difference since I started using it as a spot treatment. So this was a disappointing buy I thought it would be much better

I read all these awesome reviews and I thought I finally found the product I needed for my acne which I recently started developing. The first two days were great but then it just made my skin worse . I had even more breakouts even though I was using it only for spot treatment . I'm waiting for the stores to open up to return it.
Slowly but surly

It took a while to work but after a few works it really started to clean up the acne on my shoulders.
I do buy again and again

I use this as a spot treatment for blemishes and discoloration after I cleanse my face and sometimes through out the day if I'm not wearing make up

Are use this along with the face wash and toner and I put this on my acne then my acne got worse so I was really disappointed I was hoping this would be the magic remedy to help my acne go away
Really helped my cystic acne!
M B from Philadelphia
I have an area on my face that always has horrible recurring cystic acne. I decided to give this a try since I already liked using tea tree oil on my scalp and nails and for aromatherapy, so I knew the scent wouldn't bother me. Within 5 days, the three inflamed cysts I had at the time completely went away, something that usually takes around 2-3 weeks. I haven't had any irritation, and the formula absorbs within a few minutes. I couldn't be more pleased! Will definitely repurchase:)
Tiny little thing but powerful
Sam from Honolulu
This little thing deserves its price! Tested it out right when I felt a pimple coming out. The next day, it was almost completely gone. It tingles and dries super fast. I have little to no break outs. Does not work on my dark spots from previous pimples and blemishes. Highly recommended using a q-tip and spreading all over the face for acne prone skin, and use ONLY on the pimple arising for those with little no pimples at all (save product). Been using for 2.5 weeks.
BEST SPOT TREATMENT EVER.
rae from Fairfield ca
At the FIRST sign of a pimple I put one drop of this on it and it literally dries it out and clears it up within 48 hours. I LIVE by this stuff. Highly recommend!!! Has stopped me from picking therefore no more acne scars
It really works on breakouts.. Be careful!

I'm going to be the first to admit that when I first got this product, I may have went a LITTLE overboard.... I got this about 3 weeks ago, and shortly after using it, I began breaking out with my normal, monthly hormonal acne. The day that I got it, I put it on my spots EVERYDAY twice a day... on top of that, I was also sitting out in the sun. Now I normally have oily/combo skin, but this tried my skin out. I've definitely learned that this needs to only be used before bed for me with a strong moisturizer in the AM.
That said, it works. It didn't completely get rid of my spots since I dried out and irritated the skin AND I was dealing with hormonal acne, however, used properly I think it'd go better. Since then I'll use it a few times a week if something pops up. Highly recommend if you're wanting something to clear up your spots!
Easy to accidentally dry out your skin
Kayli from Bel Air
I have oily, acne prone skin and I used this to spot treat blemishes but I found that if I used it for several nights in a row I would get dry patches despite moisturizing morning and evening. That being said, it did dry up some blemishes before they became bigger problems.

This is the best! If you have blemishes, put a dash on your finger and apply and then blemishes will start to heal and become lighter!
Best thing for pimples

Works wonders, apply it with cotton or your finger on your pimples at night and when you wake up they're gone

I had high hopes for this product, used it for a month and saw no difference at all. Also used it with the face wash, toner, and mask.
Best tea tree oil I have found
Stkn shopper from Stockton
I've bought tea tree oil in the past at different locations that weren't as strong.
They contained other types of oil making the potency weak. This product at Ulta is strong and does it's job.
Seame from Florida
Great so far. Does dry skin a bit but I had some bad break outs from changing products / life and after the first use I woke up with diminished acne.
Love this product!

Best for Acne
Sween from Blacksburg, VA
I used this before I went to bed. This dried out my pimple. It is super drying, so I don't recommend it on a full face, just pimples.
